Approved Log Full Body Recomp 2025-2026 Journal

Ok so i have the first set of my latest blood test mid "cycle". Currently on 200mg test cyp, 100mg primo weekly. 20mg Cardarine, 600mg L-carnitine daily. 10mg Tirzepitide weekly, and 3iu hgh 5 days a week. I just added in 20mg anavar a day for the last 7 weeks of this phase.

I am down to 293lbs. That is a total of 90pounds lost from when i started my journey in May. It is not as fast as when i started but ti is still pretty consistent.

Here is my latest blood work. MY lipid panel should be coming soon.

Just checking in.

Last time on Nov 11 i was 293. This morning i weighed in at 286.5. I have been pushing really hard. And am starting to feel worn out again.

I have heard about something called skip loading, and was just wondering what everyone's opinion was on it. I think the once a week increasing my carb intake would really help. Because i can feel that this week, it was harder to workout. I am wondering if it is because my glycogen is so depleted?

Before i was stacking tirz and reta, but i decided to switch back to tirz only. The main reason was that in some people the reta effects sleep. I had been struggling with waking at like 3am. Cutting it out i think has really helped. I am sure it was just one thing of many that was effecting my sleep but it was the easiest thing to cut out and still progress.

Good check in and dropping from 293 to 286.5 shows your push is working but that worn out feeling is exactly what happens when carbs stay low too long. @PurposeBuilt

A weekly high carb day will help refill glycogen and make training feel stronger again, we call it refeed.
and staying on tirzepatide only is fine if sleep improved because rest matters more than stacking both

give us your retatrutide and sleep feedback more details please @PurposeBuilt

I had originally had tirzepitide 10mg that is what I my dr i had titrated me to before i went out on my own with all of this back when i was paying an arm and a leg for Zepbound. My original plan was to switch to reta, so i did 7.5 tirz and 2 reta, and then 5T and 4R, i went down as far to 3T and 6R, but I really lost all food noise suppression, and it was alot harder to stick to my diet. So i then seperated each by 3 days and did 6T and 6R. Still it was not what i was looking for.

I am pretty confident in the Reta, but i heard that it just might not work as well for someone coming off a high dose of Sema or Tirz.

Also as soon as I started Reta, my sleep slowly got worse. I thought it was the trt, and then maybe the deficit, I actually lowered the trt dose for a couple weeks with no changes.

I started take Melatonin i tried 1mg, 5mg, 10mg, i added magnesium, glycine, ashwagandha. I stopped caffeine after 2pm. Even with all those changes i kept waking at 3am.

Finally I read a couple times that reta can effect sleep on a few people. I figure some one doing all i am doing is likely to be a candidate. I have been off Reta for two weeks now and this week i have actually been sleeping till my alarm at 5am. It has been so nice. I am hope this sticks.

I doubt it was the reta alone, but it was something easy i could change and still achieve my goals.

You made the right call going back to tirz because sleep fixing itself after dropping the reta means your body handles tirz cleaner. Hunger control also locked back in on tirz so stay with the compound that actually keeps food noise down for this phase. @PurposeBuilt
I found GLP1s can impact everyone different, so I'm not surprised but you would say this is an actual retatrutide side? sleep issue?

Careful with melatonin at higher doses too, I take 5mg and thats on the higher side - it can actually have the opposite effect as you go higher

This is an amazing anecdotal log update that should be put in the Reta thread. I mean it this is amazing analysis of how GLP-1's affect certain people differently. The myriad of different combinations you went through is a great evidence on both dosing and compound selection for others to know not to just give up on GLP1's before they've found what works for them.

I think it was definitely the Reta because it can be a side effect of the wrong GLP1 for certain people. I'm super happy you got this figured out and can stick with the Tirz bro! Nothing is worse than having sleep issues it's the game changer for all of us when that gets fucked up.

Again, great breakdown of what you went through to get here.

Yo yo yo!! @PurposeBuilt It is good to see you here!! Browse the logs bro, you will find so many people who were exactly were you are and starting from the same spot!!

Well i know I have been gone a ridiculous amount of time. But i wanted to check back in. And give an update. Also even though I have not been updating, i have been encouraging people to come to the site.

THE GOOD
I am down 160pounds in the last 14 months. Mostly Just Tirzepitide and 200mg of Test, I have played around with adding a bit of mast and primo at like 100mg just to test it out. And see how I reacted.

I currently weight 220pounds. According to my app i have averaged 2.2pounds lost every week. With the lose skin it is hard to tell when and if I will be seeing my abs. I am thinking by 200pounds? You all probably have a better idea of that.

Training

I have been lifting 4 days a week, PPL and an extra arm day. And walking 5 days a week for 3 miles.

I have been working out from home and didn't have a lot for legs. I just got a power rack so i will be doing squats as my main lower body now.

Last week i switched to 5 days a week adding in a second leg day because i know I have a lot of work to do there. And i got a bike to start riding to up my cardio and endurance which is still lacking.

Diet
I try to hit about 160g of protein a day. That is .8g per pound of what i think is lean mass. I
I eat as clean as i can, tuna once a week, steak or ground beef once or twice a week and then chicken as my main staple.

Health
Just got an echo and ct scan, both came back 100% clean. The only thing that is showing up is that my kidney filtration is not as good as it could be for my age. I think it is from the high bp when i was over weight, so i am watching that closely. That is why i am doing a little lower protein then what i would like. I hope that wont slow my muscle growth that much. My BP now is excellent even now when starting a cycle.

Gear
With this last bit of weight I am hoping to recomp for the rest of the year and finally finish this transformation.
I am (if bloods stay good) on week 3 of a 20 week cycle of test 500. eq 300, and then adding in NPP for the last 10 weeks.

Issues
I am watching my kidneys as i said. But that is something i am watching and I am not worried about to much, because once i get where i want to be i will pretty much stick to trt in the future.

if you can see my bicep in the picture, i am now skinny enough to realize i have a torn bicep. It happened like 10 years ago, i heard the pop lifting a dirt bike on the side of a mountain. I went to the emergency room and they said it was no big deal, and so i never did anything about it. And I wasn't lifting so i didn't realize what i did.

If anyone has any recommendations about how to grow that arm, or any wisdom with my current situation there I appreciate it.

I'm glad your scans came back 100% clean. It's good that you are taking care of your body like that. I will admit that for years I did not even care. @PurposeBuilt

Thank you all for the encouragement. I know I have made huge changes, but body dysmorphia is a real thing especially when comparing myself to people who are where I want to be. I just have to remember to keep grinding. At the same time it is good to feel like I am lacking it is what gives me the motivation to keep grinding.

REST DAY

Make sure you're checking in with that loose skin around the stomach. @PurposeBuilt might want to implement some fasting protocols to burn up those skin cells.

Yes, i am trying to do what i can for it. Unfortunatly from the research I have done it is really hard to get rid of after losing so much weight so quick.

Fasting helps some, gaining muscle helps although not really around the belly to much, and then over the next 18 months it should tighten up some on its own. Ultimately if its to much i think surgery is the only sure fire ways to clean it up, but obviously that aint cheap.

Have you talked to maybe a skin doctor like a dermatologist?

Have you talked to maybe a skin doctor like a dermatologist?
No i have not, mostly my information is from following other forums and things specifically about weightless and people who have lost a lot of weight and their transformations.

The consensuses is that when you lose a lot of weight fast your body cant really keep up. I know fasting helps with autophagy, but even people who have been on pure carnivore have had to have surgery. On average your body does try to catch up for about 18 months to 2 years after the loss, and so if by then it doesn't tighten up enough surgery is the only option.

But I have been thinking of going in and talking to my doctor to see, because obviously the internet doesn't know everything.

WEEKLY DIET-Over the last 14 months I have slowly being dialing in my diet, to be healthier and more like a body builder. I try to eat as healthy as I can and also i have tried to do better from week to week. As i lose weight it becomes more and more important, so it had been a good motivator when I could see my weight loss slowing to do even better.

This week as i am approaching my last bit of weight I think I am finally at a place mentally to fully lock in to the lifestyle. I can really taste that finish line of this phase of getting lean. This will be my diet for the rest of summer at least.

BREAKFAST
Morning Protein shake 370cal, 40.3g Protein, 13.3g Fat, 23g Carbs

LUNCH - (i will be meal prepping several meals that are the same for lunch and dinner, and will mix and match throughout the week. SEE BELOW)

Quaker rice cakes x2 50cal, 1P, 0F, 11C each (Swap rice cakes for Banana for similar macros and change of pace)

Whole Milk 1cup 150cal, 8P, 8F, 12C

TOTAL w/o lunch and dinner is 910cal 85.3P, 28.3F, 84C

LUNCH/DINNER OPTIONS - will adjust these as i need to raise and lower my calories to keep track of my deficit. Everything else is prepackaged for the most part so it is constant.

MEAL 1: Beef Brami goulash- Brami pasta, lean ground beef, tomato sauce ~500 cal, 45–50 g protein
MEAL 2: Steak fajitas-
Lean steak, tortillas (probably low carb), onions, bell peppers, hotsauce~500 cal, 45–50 g protein

The one thing that i am watching closer due to conversations with ChatGPT and Claude our my kidneys. Everything in my blood work was good before i started this cycle. The one caveat to that is:

Creatinine1.45 Flagged above range (1.26 cutoff)
eGFR (creatinine)63 Borderline low

It recommended that i drop the creatine for now and i will be checking these again in two weeks at my cycle check in. The concern is the only real lasting damage i did to my system from being over weight and having high blood pressure was to my kidney filtration. So that is why there is no creatine right now.

No I have not talked to an actual doctor about this yet, I wanted to see if these numbers were related to something i was doing verses long term damage first.

It also said the fact I have lost the weight ect will go a long way to slowing the degradation in the future. I am also not taking any NSAIDs right now.

I will look into the probiotics and i do have some psyllium husk for when i think i need it.

eGFR (creatinine)63 Borderline low
You are making a HUGE mistake talking to ai about this! it knows nothing about steroids or cycles, it NEVER injected anything, its the worst thing to use, big misinformation.

Creatinine is not related to creatine use thats completely off, you're more likely not drinking enough water and training @PurposeBuilt

I will look into the probiotics and i do have some psyllium husk for when i think i need it.
you should be taking these ed

Creatinine1.45 Flagged above range (1.26 cutoff)
eGFR (creatinine)63 Borderline low

It recommended that i drop the creatine

'It's' wrong. And it'd be down to how you asked the question.
1) Creatinine levels can be high cos we train.
2) Not, unless you're taking well over 5g a day, by the Creatine
3) Don't rely on AI for medical advice

No i have not, mostly my information is from following other forums and things specifically about weightless and people who have lost a lot of weight and their transformations.

The consensuses is that when you lose a lot of weight fast your body cant really keep up. I know fasting helps with autophagy, but even people who have been on pure carnivore have had to have surgery. On average your body does try to catch up for about 18 months to 2 years after the loss, and so if by then it doesn't tighten up enough surgery is the only option.

But I have been thinking of going in and talking to my doctor to see, because obviously the internet doesn't know everything.
It's not even that as much as how much weight was lost. 5lbs and it wouldn't be an issue. 90+lbs and it will be. Kinda obvious

Brother welcome back!

OMG this is one of the best transformation on EVO since 2025. Down to 220lbs is incredible!
You look amazing brother

will adjust these as i need to raise and lower my calories to keep track of my deficit. Everything else is prepackaged for the most part so it is constant.
I love the attention to detail in your log updates we need more of them, you're on a roll!

Listen to @Mobster on this please!

Listen to @Mobster on this please!

Thank you, i will make sure to post more as I continue, just have been very busy.

I met with my cardiologist, yesterday to talk about this. You are right i do not want to rely on AI. She said over all I am good.

It is weird though she also recommended i drop the creatine for a bit, till and no NSDAIDs and then i am going to get some more blood work done in a few months. I will probably leave it out for now and then retest. I will also make sure not work out for i think 72 hours before the test. Ill make sure my water is dialed in ect.

I think she wants me to leave the creatine out, not cause she thinks it is causing it, but rather we want to get out anything that can effect it, so that we can know if the high Creatinine or low eGFR are caused by things i am taking or actual damage from my high blood pressure when i was fat.

That being said, will being on cycle of test, eq, and npp, have a big impact on these two blood markers?

If so I will probably rethink the length of my cycle or at least check on my own before I do the doctors blood work.

Need some critiques. Hope this is good enough angle.

I just started squatting after i got this rack for my home. I want this to my my main lower body builder, so any critiques and tricks are completely welcome. I am lifting barefoot here.

This is just a warm up set where i am really working on form. Thanks for taking a look, and any advice.

I got the SSB, because i am starting later in life, i want to use this for general fitness well into my old age, and it is for my whole family to use as when they are ready, so I want to make sure they are less likely to hurt themselves.

Your doc wants you off creatine but is condoning Test/EQ/NPP and is going to be watching blood markers? A cycle always has an impact on blood markers for sure.

Just trying to get a sense of what your doc knows and doesn't know

@PurposeBuilt my tip is to stick to front squats. This will prevent any type of cheating and forces you to engage certain muscles where you can't be cheating when you do them.

You don't need to hold the handles on a proper SSB bar. Loaded it'll sit on you without moving. Try a wider foot stance too. See what suits you

SSB squats are very similar to front squats as you stand up more

The most important thing with squats is to not bend your spine. @PurposeBuilt you want to do them with proper form. That's the most important thing more than how much weight you're doing. If in doubt lower the weight.

@PurposeBuilt at the end of the day, make sure you engage. A lot of people on squats don't realize that it's also about engaging your glutes and hamstrings, not just your quads.

You totally got me there, lol. They know I am on TRT, but that is it. And this was just a cardiologist, who i specifically saw for the purpose of checking over my heart to make sure i am good to blast after being over weight for so long. She told me that was her recommendation but to check back with my primary about it. So i will make sure that i will be back on trt for a couple months before i go to my primary.

Also how important is creatine still when I am on cycle. Isnt it pretty insignificant compared to the gear? Or am i actually leaving gains on the table during this push? Becuase you are right, it is likely impacted due to the different compounds I have been taking.

Just discovered your log, couldnt believe the difference from beginning to now!

Creatine is a very underrated nootropic. If you take high enough doses over long periods of time and because it crosses the blood brain barrier (albeit slowly) it can become a nootropic and help with daily fatigue if sleep isn't in check. It's moreso this than it is saturating at 10g/day for muscle. Either way something like creatine should always be taken at minimum 10g/day all year round in my opinion.

I take 30g creatine a day and no issues.

I may go ahead and try this. I am getting blood work soon, if i jump it up to something like 30g a day and my numbers are about the same that will tell me its really not effecting it that much and i don't need to worry about its effects. And i have heard about the nootropic effects but have not actually tried.

The other thing i am doing that i was wondering about was HGH. I am on week 1 of 3iu will be going up to 5iu over the next few weeks. I have been taking it fasted before my morning cardio, just because that is when i pin everything but i have heard some people say they get a lot better result doing it at night as far as sleep, and not being as tired during the day. I also have heard others say it doesn't really matter.

OK so i got my blood work done, the three things i was looking for was ...

1, CBC since eq is supposed to raise those markers , although it might be to early for issues with that. It looks pretty clean still

2. I wanted to check my E2, which i am glad i did it is really low ( 7 ) i am thinking of going from 500 test to 600 test and leave the eq at 300, i just added in 150 npp this week after blood work was drawn.

3. I was concerned about was my kidneys and they have improved since last time and you all were right it probably wasn't that big of a deal and it is out of the danger low range. so i am sure once i am off cycle for a bit it will continue to improve.

e2 is low lets focus on it before other issues, cut the eq to 0 for at least 2 weeks and come back to 100mgs after while test stays at 500mgs :D @PurposeBuilt
what kind of kidney support do you take?

@HarleyGuy @Allupfromhere @Pigsy @waggat @Trenhead3cc @Kopite67
@Grumpy @LH5515 @Yuri @Doctakay @bss @Koba @rizzlekdizzle @Ohdamn @Dreamer

Thanks for responding. Strangely right now I feel fine. So I am wondering if I need to actually drop the eq. I obviously don't want to be stupid and crash it entirely. But I am really starting to feel the cycle and would hate to lose the momentum.

As far as kidney support I am taking.
Omega-3s (4g/day)
NAC (1200mg/day)
Astragalus (1000mg/day)

E2 is pretty nuked as it is brother, you may feel somewhat ok with it that low but what you jeopardising is the neuro protection that e2 gives us when it is in high range. Plus i seen your also taking hgh too yeah? Not gaining much benifits from that with such low e2 as well king. Oestrodial is needed for ifg1 production with you gh which i assume is what your after with gh dose at that level?

Eq is a awesome compound and super versatile, just takes some effot to personally dial it in my man.

Oh yes I definitely am not wanting to leave it this low. I guess I am wondering if raising my test from 500 to 600 is enough to bring it up to s better range that I can just keep going instead of coming completely off of eq for two weeks. Or maybe even going to 600 test and dropping down to 200 EQ that would keep the same amount of anabolics in. Or would both of those keep my e2, at the bottom end still.

My personal opinion, drop the eq a touch to 200ish and bump the test to 600.

This will be a reasonably fast change on e2 levels as now we have created 2 shifts in opposite direction.

Moving to a 3:1 ratio of test:eq will lean into the higher side of an aromatisation shit which is how i personal believe we should approach the use of eq.

My reason behind this is using testosterone and the adjusting compound allows us to make faster changes then trying to adjust eq. Simply due to the half life of the esters.

Run lcms tests again for e2 in 4-5weeks and you will know where your at and where you need to shift moving foward.
