I have had the luxury of being off work for a 6 months and have just concentrated on training and diet. I decided to start training 10 months ago at the age of 47 after a horrific knee injury in 2015. I have gone from 13st 8lbs to 16st 4lbs at 6ft 1 inch. Bf 18%. I recently reached the milestone of 17inch biceps and are well chuffed. It is all going so well. Today I had a work interview and was unable to eat for most of the day and it suddenly dawned on me, how am I going to sustain this level of training if I start work again. I want to compete in a vets competition when I get to 50+. Strangest feeling ever today. Frickin starvin and badly prepared. I currently train 5 on one off and repeat. The nature of my work is such that I often go for periods of 3-4 hours in meetings (sometimes longer). Has anyone got any thoughts or words of wisdom or is this just life and an indication that it's a tough gig.
