Very true brother monstro was crazy in the fact he really did live and love this lifestyle, he was on every bodybuilding message board known to mankind lol, makes me chuckle thinking how many places he has been not only online but in the real world, he never stopped.
Sometimes I think man if he could only see me now compared to when he first saw me I'd like to think he would be proud of how far I and many others have come with our transformations.
yes monstro was a 100% bodybuilder through and through so nice to see that on his headstone.

My wife and I just read this, very sad, RIP Monstro. We always found his comments hilarious, how he would call himself "Monstro" in 3rd person, like "Monstro says that's a good stack" or "Monstro says that's b.s."
Always meant to post a question for him to settle a debate we had. Maybe now it's too late, unless someone who knew him well could answer.
My wife says he definitely named himself after the whale in Pinocchio. In her defense, she says it's a pretty big strong whale. I say there is no way Monstro named himself after that silly shit, probably never even heard of Pinocchio, eats whales for breakfast. I said Monstro's mother probably named him Monstro. Anyone know the truth?

As has been posted on line his actual name was Marco Luis (on RX and Insta)
Also English was far from his 1st language so a lot of his posts were in broken English or misunderstood due to thr language barrier.
Him speaking posts in 3rd person or being weird on here was just that. He wasn’t trying to be any sort of way or awkward it’s just how it seemed. Remember he comes from a Portuguese island in the middle of the ocean which required a day of travel to even get to an international airport so even to someone in Portugal he would be a unique person. Much less to anyone here
