Good morning EVO bros.

Just wanted to start a thread off the topic of gear. I was a club DJ for years during my 20s and am a Huge music lover. I love rocking out while pumping iron. I Personally go between the old school Death Row rap to Slipknot. Love some Slipknot. Saw them live last year at Red Rocks here in Denver and man. They kick butt. I also love EDM as that is what I used to spin as a DJ. mostly Drum and Bass and now some Dubstep. Just curious as to what you guys groove too? I am I musically motivated guy. Cheers and happy Friday to you all!!

Rage Against the Machine hits pretty hard. White zombie, Korn, Manson, old school Metallica and some old school hip hop does it for me.

I mostly have Contemporary Rock.
It's got to have a Good Beat and Good Vocals, for me to workout to it................................. JP

Opening up my iPod we have Korn, Tupac, After Forever, Kid Rock, Ice Cube, Saliva, Muse, DMX, Disturbed, Kanye West, Manson... hell, I even have Tori Amos on here for a few tracks.

I have commented on this before and I am the weird guy when it comes to gym music. Now I love all types of music. Grew up on Snoop Dogg, NWA, and pretty much loved all types of music. When it comes to the gym I go with reggae and soca. My thinking is that those types of music make me think of palm trees and being on vacation. That makes me happy. When I am happy I lift better. Just that simple.

I like my hip hop most of the time but when I really need to motivate myself i listen to some hard rock.
