Please help with TRT

Hi everyone,



Backstory:

I am now 26 years old. I was stupidly on steroids from about 18-20 with no idea what to do and never done a PCT. Dosages I don't remember but I done one full cycle of Test/Deca and then I did play around with tren and masteron for maybe 3-4 weeks. Yes I know this is insanely stupid.

I was always fit, strong and very active and I would honestly say I was a hyper responder to these chemicals as my strength and size went absolutely through the roof and pushed me from about 190lbs (18%bf) to about 250lbs (20%bf). These are estimates and obviously water retention came into play.

I started to experience panic attacks, I think tren had something to do with this. I came off everything very abruptly and the slight gyno I had developed got so bad I had to have it surgically removed years later. As it stands now I am roughly 240lbs (30-32%bf), so I still do hold a large frame but a lot of muscle has atrophied in odd places and thrown off things like my gait and posture.

My prolactin seems to be very elevated, although I have this tested in 2016 at 197 and the reference range was out of 550. My Total Testosterone during this test was also 24.1 nmol/L which I think is worth noting.

My testosterone is just above where the health services in the UK will help me and I do not have the funds to go private for this, so I will be playing doctor myself. Any thoughts are appreciated on protocols or my results.

I have done quite a lot of research and although i'm within the 'normal range', I am absolutely convinced there's no way this can support the muscle mass even needed to move my 6'1 rather large frame efficiently - never mind keep up with the level of activity I need. I have constant muscle soreness from very light exersize, a very hard time shifting any fat and my sex drive is 99% of the time terrible with some erectile dysfunction (some of which may be more psychological than biological).

I'm thinking of running 150mg of Test Cyp or Enanthate for 16 weeks and do bloods twice to get an idea of not only my blood levels, but to gauge how I feel. Any thoughts at all are welcome.
 
your numbers are quite good for someone with your history and body fat

if you just got into shape your numbers would get even better.. lose the fat.. not the time for steroids at all right now, use sarms if you must use something.. but diet is #1
 
I also live in the UK. I'm gonna be blunt (even more than usual). You wanted the NHS to help you. Don't take the fkin piss!

YOU'RE FAT. Lose the fat on your damn own and see those numbers drop and your test levels improve. Next

I have a really large amount of training under my belt and i'm not a beginner in the weight room, under the current situation of course I have no access to a gym and my weight has ballooned as going from eating for mass while gaining it to being stationary a large portion of the day has crept up.

I have no doubt if I could find the willpower and strength to lose a lot of weight my numbers would be better, but I can't. I can't train hard, my mental stability now is shot. I would rather sit in my bed every day in my own filth than do anything. My work is suffering immeasurably and it's all well and good to say diet is #1 but if you can't bring yourself to do good things for yourself, that's a hard thing to accomplish.

I have tried for 5+ years to look at this as a psychological problem before considering this, and i'm so far down that road i'm pretty sure there is at least a biological portion to it. 15.5 Nmol/L of test is only a few points from being considered low even by our conservative government's standards, this is surely going to be effecting me?

I have posted this information to a place where I hoped people would have been in the same position as myself and can understand the strains this is (perhaps) putting on my life. It's not so easy to just get up and get your shit together if the necessary chemicals aren't playing ball with you.

I am looking to improve my life because right now it is on a bad trajectory and I can't seem to get out of this tailspin no matter what I do. As mentioned in another reply I have essentially ruled out that this is a psychological problem as I have been way down that road over the past 5 years.

I will be dropping a ton of body fat before I make any lifelong decisions regardless of how I need to do it. I'll probably started IF and drop as much so I can retest and put myself in a better position of aromoitisation.

As a moderator of a forum people are looking to get help from you should really be more professional and less passive aggressive. I like many other people are just looking for help and not to be spoken to like an idiot from behind a screen.
 
So the test levels look decent, LH is fine, FSH is a little low. Its weird your free test though is really on the low end.

I mean as others have said I would fix diet and get training again to the point where if that doesnt help get your numbers improve then go for it but right now if you just start self administering TRT I dont think its going to solve your issues and once you decide to do that you will need to get bloodwork done routinely which im not sure how difficult that is in the UK?

It sucks I get it but steroids are not all of a sudden going to get you back to 18% bodyfat. You didnt get from 18-20% to over 30% out of nowhere. I have a large frame too and I dont have super high test levels either but im 39 and can still keep a good amount of muscle on my frame (6'9" 250 pounds) but it takes a lot of focus on diet and training. I wouldnt focus either on having all this muscle mass, focus on getting lean then slowly adding muscle.

I love sarms I am running them now and they are great for lean muscle mass and fat burning. I would suggest that route like Steve mentioned before just self administering TRT.

Its not going to happen overnight but you can get there if you really focus.

Apologies just noticed I typed the reference range wrong on free test. It's actually out of 0.2-0.62, so I guess it's sitting kind of the middle.
Routine bloodwork is fine, I use medichecks for that out of pocket.

The admin 'Mobster' has put me off posting on this forum regardless, thanks for your input anyway.
 
I know you don't want it repeated but diet is what you need to fix. Honestly getting the body fat down will increase your testosterone significantly. Getting leaner will help you mentally as well. It will motivate you to continue and get back to training once things open up. If you really need to take something as a boost or to get started, check out N2Slin from n2bm. You can just take 2 caps before meals. Add in some cardarine from sarms.forsale and you will have a great fat loss stack.

well said and completely agree... i would go one step further and do a stack of gw501516 and sr9009... this combo would be extremely ideal

I'm not doing this for asthetic purposes or muscle building properties - i could care less honestly. It's the drive, mentality, focus and energy that translates to all of my life.

I would be dropping all of the weight before I started anyway to counteract as much aromotisation as possible anyway, I will post again once i'm down to roughly 15%.

Also does anyone know why the FSH would be low? Forgot to mention I will re-test once the weight is down.

Professional implies payment - I'm not not getting paid. Doing this for free. If you were stood in front of me at your former 30-32% (as you stated in YESTERDAYS POST vs today's claimed 15%) I'd still say you were FAT. And, as everyone else said, you need to DIET. And if, being 30-32% fat you went to the NHS for treatment for TRT you'd be taking the piss out of the NHS wouldn't you? More so when you also say it's not a psychological problem. Which means YOU ARE to blame. Which then means YOU can fix it. Your test levels will improve if you're less fat - it's that simple.

Get off your ass and cardio the f**k out of yourself. Tidy the diet to within an inch of it's life. Read our articles about why using ANY PED's when you're as fat as you are is a VERY bad idea.

So losing weight and cleaning up your diet - which is what we all said - is only bad advise if it comes from me. And, without my proving otherwise, you're reading and replying to my posts which means SOMEONE is.
