Weight Gain on Retatrutide

@Noah Wixx good for her and i hope it sticks and she doesn't gain it all back after she comes off.

did she say where she got hers from? because there are a bunch of people i have seen that are part of the trials out there, while others are getting it the same way we do from the black market
She is getting hwrs through her actual doctor it got approved through her insurance its called wagovey probably spelled that wrong, every month they would titrate her dose up little by little rill she got to the max dose, yeah she doesn't walk run or workout but somehow dropped 40lbs its nuts.

Yeah that’s semaglutide. The crazy thing is Reta is so much better. It’s the most modern glp1

Hey all, sorry wasnt getting notified about replies to this.

RE: Log - will get one up this week. I already track my meals and training sessions in MyFitnessPal so shouldnt be much effort to move it here.

Yes the order was from SCS. I ordered 2 vials (20mg) for my first order to see how i responded to it. I have just finished the 2nd vial now since i upped the dose well beyond what i had planned to run becuase i wasnt seeing the weight loss effects.
I know he is suspended now, cant comment on that. On all accounts though, the appetite suppression on his product is real, to the point i dread sitting down to (try) eat. whether its actually reta, or something else with the same appetite effect, i dont know. I always prefer to assess my own actions before trying to blame/accuse something else of my lack of results though.

I have another batch from the another vendor, the same i purchased my test E from. I'll be running that from this week so i guess we will see what happens there.

I've just generally been confused about reta and timings of effect. Many people report massive losses from the first week, some people say it takes weeks to even start working. Is everyone different? are the sources different?
Like all things everyone's situation is different and they respond differently. I have not gone on retatrutide yet. I am on tirzepatide. On the scale anov. 2023 after being on the tirzepatide for 2 months I weighed 239 pounds. I just weighed this morning I was 233.8 pounds. The scale does not tell the whole story. I had to switch to measuring my body with a flexible tape measure. Like over 6 months last time I checked I lost 2 inches on my waist. I would say at least u have a GLP-1 because of the not ability to eat. I am with you I have to force myself to get 200-300 grams of protein down a day. I have gotten to the point I hate eating. I just eat to get the end result. I actually enjoy my supplement drinks and protein shakes though. I look forward to those. When I started testosterone while I. The GLP-1 I gained weight for months. Just 2 months ago I was weighing between 240-245. I will tell you starting GLP-1 was life changing for me. Then next best thing was start TRT. Then third life changing things was starting a diet and training log on here. This forum has been so supportive, informative, encouraging, fun, and life changing. I hope that a little bit of my journey is encouraging. This is a marathon for sure. I thought back in September 2023 when I started tirzepatide I was going to be 200 lbs in 6-12 months after hearing all the success stories but I also was told by my doc to strength training because we don't want to lose half muscle. I stead I have learned so much more. That scale may be lieing to you like body monster said. You may be gaining muscle and trading it for fat. Pics and body measurements will serve you better. You got this, stay the path, and get that log going. I will be following and supporting you.

Can we take it back 1 notch Lev, everything else I have purchased from him has been great. Oils are spot on. I didn't get testing done on the reta and I'm not going to at janoshik costing over $500 aud for peptides. If he believes it's legit maybe he thinks im trying to scam him.

Me and my wife came from another vendors Reta with amazing results, post we have gone to a third vendor with amazing results.(I like to share the love around.) Its only SCS that wasn't correct. That's my only proof. Nothing more.
You can see a more detailed review in his thread.
The Mrs ended up taking 7mg over 9 days for no result. And it only took 1mg for it to work from the new vendor. With appetite suppression the next day.
I can add heaps more detail as we both keep diarys but still all anecdotal.

Lmao it takes time for the reta to saturate in the body.

And alluding to the theory that the Reta was in fact Tirze would be more funny as Tirze has a waaaaay higher appetite suppression than Reta.
Your Mrs wouldn't be able to eat shit if it was her first time on Tirze and at 7mg over 9 days lmao.

@kcates You’re approaching it with the right mindset by focusing on long-term changes, not just the number on the scale. Tirzepatide clearly helped control appetite, but pairing it with testosterone and logging your training brought everything together. It’s clear the shift has been more about body composition than just weight loss, and that’s where real progress happens. Measuring with a tape and taking photos gives a much clearer picture than chasing scale drops. Eating becomes a chore at times with GLP-1s, but staying consistent with protein is what holds muscle during fat loss. You’re building something sustainable now, not just chasing a quick cut or bulk. Following your log I can see your dedication.

@truthspeaker we dont take kindly to accounts like yours, don't start negativity like this again.

Hey everyone,

I tend to stay fairly quiet on forums and just lurk for the most part but im reaching out for your support, advice and guidance on this one.

Some background on me:

40 yrs old
5'10
93kg
27% BF (Not in the best shape obviously)

Throughout my 20s and early 30s i was training regularly, did a couple of dirty bulks, couple of cycles peaked at 97kg followed by extreme cuts (with DNP) down to 72kg @ 5% BF.
Stopped training around at 33 years old and have only sporadically trained since then. I have a young family and a demanding job and my health and wellbeing has unfortunately taken a backseat.

I have historically always struggled with my weight. I carry excess fat around my waist and chest at all times, regarless of the rest of my body composition.

I have been on anti-depressants for about 4 years, however at the end of last year i decided i didnt want to live my life tied to that sort of medication. I remembered how i used to feel back when i was training and decided it was time to come off the meds and see if i could restore my happiness and way of life through focussing on improving my body and how i feel about myself. I started training 4 days a week again, tapered off the meds successfully and early this year got my bloods done. The result was low test:
  • Total Testosterone (Siemens): 10.1 nmol/L (8.3-29)
  • Sex Hormone Binding Globulin: 19 nmol/L (11-71)
  • Calculated Free Testosterone: 254.9 pmol/L (255.0-725.0)
I was put on TRT @ 100mg/wk.

At this point i decided i wanted to focus on lowering my bf% while also trying to regain some of the long lost muscle. I started running reta 4 weeks ago and upped my test to 0.5ml EOD.
I ran reta @ 2mg/wk (1mg Mon/Thurs) for the first two weeks. I could feel the appetite suppression effects of the reta, asin i had ZERO appetite, but unlike most people, the scales didnt reflect any changes.
After the first two weeks i increased reta to 1mg EOD to match my test schedule.
I have been tracking my intake strictly over the entire period. I have been consuming between 1400-1700 calories per day. Zero alcohol. Plenty of sleep.
My workout routine consists of:
  • Monday: Lower Body
  • Tuesday: Upper body
  • Wednesdy: 1hr cardio
  • Thursday: Lower Body 2
  • Friday: Upper Body 2
After 4 weeks my weight has increased from 91kg to 93kg and my bf% is still showing as 27% (withings body smart scales).
At this point, although its still early in the cycle, im just genuinely confused. I read all these other threads of guys using reta during cycles and still getting excellent weight loss, leaning out and generally getting great recomp results yet i just dont seem to be getting the same benefit. I know training and rebuilding a body is chess, not checkers, but im just generally a little bummed that ive been killing myself with caloric deficits and intense trainging yet no visible or measurable benefits have occurred yet.

Sorry fo the essay, just wanted to give a good background on myself and try to fully inform the community to try get the best advice. Thanks for your time.
I use reta right now and what i have done is first month 2 mg 2nd month 4mg 3rd month 6 mg and so on … im down 42 pounds using reta i do 1 shot a week i dont split it through out the week but also a lot of peoples mistake on this stuff is not having a proper diet and if you could i would up my cardio good luck

I love Reta cos doesn’t feel like on GLP, I recon if I tried hard I could prevent weight loss, like I can pig out on it if I want to but it’s also whole lot easier to eat in calorie deficit on Reta. Some people don’t get much effect until higher doses. I got to max trialed dose in about 9 months (12mg split 6mg / 3.5 days)

At goal weight now so playing around tapering down. Just pushing out days between dosing rather than reducing dose.

I recon your weight gain was water given deficit your in.

Things will come round.

@Chrisos good retatrutide feedback, but its hard to overeat on Reta imo

How about food, you eating recovery foods? @Chrisos

Been focusing on healthy mostly all whole foods, salads, fruit veg, chicken and beef mince. also using BP / TB

1 week and 6 days to go until I have all clear to start lifting again. Just walking 5km a day right at moment.

Surgery was successful which is main thing. Intestine back / not coming out. Plus some other issues related to hernia fixed - blood supply, cord and nerves to nuts 😂

Surgery worked perfect.
