Approved Log My TRT cycle Log - aged 31

natmak12

V.I.P.
EVO Logger
Hi,

This is my second log, so I hope to be a bit more consistent than the first. The reason for doing this TRT cycle is due to over the past 12 months feeling very brain foggy and loosing drive, which for me has never been an issue

To start over been training 5daus a week consistently for 7 years now and gone from a 6ft tall twig weighing 70 kg to now sitting around 91kg and fairly lean.

Current
6ft tall
91kg
Weight lifting 5 days a week.
Very active high stress, time critical, risky job (which i now believe may be a part of my problem)

I have had my bloods taken regularly and have always had quite low test. Although as you will see on my recent bloods taken after two weeks holiday overseas with no gym and good sleep my test almost doubled. Really showing that environmental factors on hormones are huge.

I also have varicocele on my treaties which gives me no grief pain wise at all but are known to have an impact on test levels

In the past o have taken anavar at 20mg a day for 8 weeks, once.

And RAD 140 for 8 weeks.

And that is all.

I have been contemplating TRT for a long time and have finally decided to trial it.

My intended cycle will be starting off at 100mg a week split into 2 sub q injections taken in the morning.

I will be changing my training to push, pull, legs and a swim which I will be posting as I go. This is an attempt to stop weight lifting 5 or 6 days a week out of habit.

My intended diet will be changing to a whole foods only diet, alot of animal products, veg and fruit. LOTS of steak 🥩

Please keep in mind I am not a competing body builder and am purely doing this to attempt to optimise my body and mental function for myself personally and to be clearer, fitter and more effective in my job. I work irregular hours and am not the best sleeper, sleep is also another factor I am trying to work on.

100%

I'll assume a good wage but can you change jobs? I mad this choice a log time ago. I've done the weeks at a time with zero breaks and 12+ hopur days and while the money was great it made me unwell.

@natmak12 combat? then you need higher carbs you mean?
I'm trying to understand your caloric output maybe we need to get you more protein/carbs and easy meals like bars in there.

But... it's also affecting you as per the posts above. Do what you can to negate any additional stresses

sleep is very important and it will be a good way to improve everything
this log can be focused on a lot of issues you have

we will give you some sleeping tips on here
tell us more about your sleep schedule

monstro believes in being strong-minded and strong and body
we don't want to hear that you have any fog

Hopefully this log can get you where you want to go
it definitely starts in the brain

start documenting your sleep
including what you do before bed and what time you're going to sleep and waking up

You got a great Base bro. Stick with the Log and you can go next level

Alright.

So slight delay in Test vial delivery but they are arriving today.

My sleep varies from minimum 6 hours to 8 hours a night. I take a magnesium mix before bed every night. My sleep starts off solid although always get restless and toss and turn quite a bit.

Generally in bed between 10 and 11pm although once every six weeks or so I work for 7 straight nights.

My job is a military style role - I won't go further into that.

I will be putting alot more in this forum from today as my TRT should be arriving.

Since my holiday the brain fog is a bit less and my blood results show higher test, although I suspect they will drop to low levels again now back at work and in the usual stress of life.

My workouts since being back have been slightly lighter as of having two weeks off but will post

meals super nice, you're eating clean :)

So I started my TRT cycle today
Starting on the smallest of doses 80mg a week split into 2x sub q injections.

It was a bit hard to inject with the small sub q needle due to it being a bit viscus. Although just went slow and had no pain or bump from it.

In regards to cardio - I did a 1 km swim in a lap pool a few days ago and will be doing that every week.

Am also doing 1-2 km on the tredmill twice a week.

In addition to this - I'm doing onfar d sauna 3 times a week and ice bath 2 time a week.

swimming is fantastic and it's low impact

you got a nail down your sleep if you're going to get progress
that's the most important thing so the tossing and turning is no good

sounds like you have a very dangerous job but that's cool
no need to get into it any further

food looks fantastic
thanks for posting up those pics

where do you get your passion fruit from?
I've had them fresh in the Caribbean

monstro likes that you're a man of mystery
but make sure you keep posting some pictures

Update.

Changing to IM instead of sub q, leaving to much of a bumb sub q.

Breaky posted below.

Lunch was
200g chicken breast
1/2 cup sweet potato
1/4 cup beans

Snack
Watermelon
100g Greek yoghurt
Scoop of protein

Dinner
Cup of rice
150g salmon
Stir fry veg.

I'm really enjoying the carb free/ low carb breakfasts, which is unusual as I've always had high carb breakfasts.

I feel I'm getting less of a crash on energy during the day.

I've dropped pre workout all together at the moment.

Still creatine and NAC

Brain fog is definately less as of before holiday. Will keep updating

@natmak12 super meal I like the food mix
lower carbs long term are good to geat lean
just keep carbs all around your training or work

Update.

So I'm feeling less brain fog during the day, I feel like this may be because of the lower carb morning and less crash during the day. Also probably a bit refreshed after the holiday still.

I've had 1 week worth of trt at 80mg a week. Will look at upping it soon to find that sweet spot.

I've moved to IM injection which was way easier than I thought and was less painful than sub q.

Great update bro

Very nice workouts and diet

yes I love your log it's very informative

make sure you keep eating clean

very proud of your updates keep it up

Nice updates I like it

Just a small update. Staying consistent and pushing more volume every week.

Brain fog is definitely easing up. Once again not sure of it's the TRT or the cleaner diet and carb free mornings.

I'm only 3 doses in of 40mg so I'm leaning more towards the diet and carb free mornings

@natmak12 i like the volume you're doing

did you add protein shakes? or bars? dont see it there

Hi mate,

Nagative. Only if I have too. Generally eating enough protein unless I get tied up at work.

Trying to stay away from all processed foods and sweeteners
@natmak12 you can easily drink clean protein shakes no processed ones, like egg protein etc
not sure if I'm missing it but dont see enough protein on last update

Interesting test testing.

Shout out to Hybrid labs Australia for the tope vial (purple top) for a good potency result.

The second vial o got through a friends cousin... Test result is not great.

I won't be using the second vial from now on.

Will be getting bloods taken on another 2 weeks.

My lifts and brain clarity are up greatly on this current diet and test still at only 80mg a week.

No carb morning are working a absolute treat for mental clarity during the day.
