Same shoe as the wife. They are 6 years old. Just haven't worn them as I have always worn a flat shoe. It's a pretty basic shoe nothing special.

I'm adding 20 lbs per week to bench on this cycle. Most likely going to drop to 10 lbs per week final 4'weeks. I am on week 4 of 8. I would say I'm progressing pretty damn fast. Besides I suck at bench. Always have. My bum shoulder will always hold it back a bit. I am hoping to hit a paused single in comp at 375. 335 is the most I've ever done without elbow sleeves so I'm pretty happy with how things are progressing.

Once this comp cycle is over I'm going to go off semaglutide and go on a prolonged hypertrophy phase to put on as much muscle as possible before I cut down again for next summer possibly nationals.

I wish there was some type of spray or something I could put on my thumbs so I can do hook grip without any pain. Would be easy to do if you could just numb the thumbs.

Stopped superdrol and switched to 50mg anavar daily. Figured since I'm having a horrible training cycle no reason to get sick for no reason.
Smart move I don't like superdrol sides, just watch the anavar pumps. @RoidRage69
 
Besides taurine what else can help get rid of the pumps? More potassium?
2-3 grams of taurine to start, add daily electrolytes a LOT of them, and trace minerals (many bodybuilders miss these).
 
I add crème of tartar to my water bottles and salt and take magnesium every meal. I'm wondering how much potassium I can handle.
Cream of tartar causes diarrhea for many, and if it doesn't for you it is causing digestive issues.
I suggest a basic electrolyte powder, check fasting powders on amazon they are cheap, add baking soda and pink salt to them 1/4tsp. @RoidRage69

even the ones i have scanned at health food stores are poor quality
i get a drink called leisure hydration. it scans 100/100. the only electrolyte drink i have found that didn't have junk in it. i drink it after a lot of sweating

You can also also use a 'Hyper Extension' bench. That allows upper body movement whereas a 'reverse hyper' is the legs and hips only moving.

Yep, he has invented a few machines including the westside inverse curl and belt squat machine as well. We actually have all 3 machines at the gym I go to. I program in the reverse hyper in all my blocks as well. Great machine. Glad to see your doing them!

I also like listening to Table talk when Dave has some of the other old school guys on who trained at Westside and tell stories of Louie back in the day. Even the ladies have some good stories like Laura Phelps. Good stuff.

Stopped superdrol and switched to 50mg anavar daily. Figured since I'm having a horrible training cycle no reason to get sick for no reason.

For sure I will get it. Wish I had worked on grip strength more but my forarms had bad tendinitis so I decided to not push my luck.
I dont blame you brother we all got limitations we are battling in the gym, same with me and why i hack squat instead of high bar barbell squat, easier on my knee i have arthritis in my right one, hack feel so much better for me.

Yeah ive purposely always worked forearms for grip reasons, definitely has paid off, i have full confidence in you and your abilities, you will get the 600+
