Veteran Log 16 week Summer Cut Cycle Log - closing 2025

For sure, as I'll most likely use EQ again in my growth phase. 1g test as of Monday and go get bloods again in another 5 weeks. If E2 still hasn't come up enough, I then know 400 EQ is too high for me without smashing 1g+ of test, which will have its own potential problems.
This is all really helpful info for when my EQ test drive comes bro..thanks for being so thorough!

The next bloods were taken 5 weeks after the first, with an increase in test to 750mg and keeping the EQ the same at 450mg. Estrogen has increased but not high enough, still with almost a 2:1 ratio.

Nah i didnt brother, i was feeling good so i didnt feel like lcms test was needed if e2 was recognisable from immunoassay testing. With no ai or serms being used i think mote accurate test measures are needed? Could be wrong though.

Yeah i think its a slight misunderstanding with e2.. obviously we dont want it at such a high range where negative implications come into play but we do benifit from levels of e2 relativr with high test where our bodies push for homeostasis

Ya my libido and gains are better when my e2 isn't tanked on the low end and I don't feel so apathetic

Yes that’s common, e2 too low flattens mood, libido, and training drive. That's for most guys I've worked with.
 
I think the main question is how are you feeling with your e2 at that range now? My doc always preaches these are all just numbers on a page. How you feel is what's most important
And overall health markers

@Allupfromhere do you feel like your estrogen is crushed? A lot of times blood work can be misleading. like with tren it can cause E2 to rise

Good chance your still crashed, I was 130 with IA and 40 on LCMS. Have seen @hypogaeum e2 119 IA and 51 LCMS.

i think you can avoid steroids messing with your #2 getting one of those tests. but in the end how you feel ? @Allupfromhere

equipoise is a great option. and its CHEAP too. @Allupfromhere I like it a lot. You get some big bang for your buck.

Yeah, I definitely did at the start. My joints were dry as, libido was obsolete, like sex wouldn't even cross my mind. Mood was pretty flat and energy was declining.

Strange though, E2 is still super low, but I feel really good right now since bumping up the test dose.

Strength, gym, and recovery are all solid. Libido has for sure increased, but not back to normal yet.

Yeah, right, that's crazy interesting. I'll run the LCMS test in five weeks to check the increase in test and see levels between E2 and E1.

Bro, it's funny because I feel really good now, and my joints are significantly better, and the progress is great. I will get the more accurate test, though.

The two weeks won't matter, as regardless of where things are at by that stage of the cycle, I will just be riding it out anyway.

Solely running more bloods for community research.
 
Splitting them is the best move brother, focus on growing each part and make that connection in the gym 💪🏼

Sorry for the lack of updates this weekend. I had a weekend away interstate for a friend's wedding out in the country, and it was a super nice reset for both of us. Unfortunately, I missed a couple of workouts, but I headed home today and will hit shoulders and arms this evening. Tomorrow, I still have a day off work, so I will hit chest and tris in the morning, then hamstrings and calves in the evening, and I will be back on track.

Funny looking back at pictures of the last wedding we went to. Big difference lol, hope everyone had a killer weekend

Good reset weekend and solid plan to double up for catch up. Shoulders and arms tonight then chest and hamstrings split tomorrow will get you back pumped.

Pics look like you leaned out. Keep intensity high this week and add 1 extra set per body part to make up for the skipped days.

Feeling a little small at the moment lol. Almost 30kg between those photos.
81.8kg fasted this morning and that makes the weight loss 5kg in 5 weeks so far this cut.. you think this is too fast @LevButlerov?

smaller doesn't matter, you're lean and strong :D
I don't think you losing weight too fast, there are other factors like glycogen and water you're losing as well, no issues. @Allupfromhere

@Allupfromhere Oh don't get me started on body dysmorphia LOL. I'm 211lbs at around 16% and 5'9'. I have abs but there's a film of fat over them but they're definitely visible especially my obliques for some reason. Literally one day I am planning a cut phase and then the next I'm planning a Sust/NPP/Anadrol bulk blast to just get huge and fuck the abs. I look "best" (whatever the hell that means) at below 14% with my shirt off but then I seem to have to be below 195lbs and I can't stand the way I look in a t-shirt when I'm lean with abs because I look small and don't fill an XL shirt with the sleeves tight around my arms in a t-shirt. When I'm over 210 and can fill an XL I prefer that look walking around but then in the mirror I hate it.

Basically I will never like what I look like and yet I'm 48 years old and everyone I know has a dad bod or worse, many have a Big Mac estrogen King of the Hill Homer Simpson disgusting bod with gyno from their diet and beer intake. It makes me judge them and think they're weak ass minded useless Gomar Pyle's but I try and push that thinking away when it comes in. One person at a 12-step meeting last Monday said I was "clearly jacked" and that made me want to do another blast and put 10 more pounds and fuck the abs.

We're all fucked here bro :ROFLMAO:

Too many intensifiers for a push day but as most can probably tell by now i do love a bit of volume.

So 5 weeks in and 5kg down.. mostly happy with where everything is at and i know ill get the 'small' feelings here and there on a cut but once i really push into becoming leaner i think ill find my attention will gravitate towards that and not worry about filling out my shirts as much lol. That can be next years problem 😆😆

Into the second third of this cycle now and need to stay tight on track, where we sit at the end of the next 5 weeks will determine how hard we need to push on the remaining 5 weeks.

Temporary push workout today just to make up for some lost training over the weekend. Will be moving back to regular split tomorrow though.
Big session and big volume, was well fed and digested before the workout and had some intra carbs while training too just to try and keep me going.
Too many intensifiers for a push day but as most can probably tell by now i do love a bit of volume.

So 5 weeks in and 5kg down.. mostly happy with where everything is at and i know ill get the 'small' feelings here and there on a cut but once i really push into becoming leaner i think ill find my attention will gravitate towards that and not worry about filling out my shirts as much lol. That can be next years problem 😆😆

Into the second third of this cycle now and need to stay tight on track, where we sit at the end of the next 5 weeks will determine how hard we need to push on the remaining 5 weeks.

Thats why i eat the way i do, it just makes everything too easy to manage and track.

Hahahahaha yeah it was a temporary style of workout to top up the ones missed over the weekend, be back to the normal structure today though.

Hey brother yeah i run tren e earlier this year, took it up to 450mg and absolutely hated life lol. Sleep was pretty much obsolete, and just woke up in a pool of sweat everynight. Felt shit all the time, except in the gym. Went to ed injections and still couldnt settle those sides. Progesterone had shot right up and started getting gyno.

Dropped the dose little by little and my sweet spot was 200-250. Sleep was coming back in much better, not perfect but a helluva lot better. Some carbs before bed helped with the sleep but would increase the sweats so it was a tricky balance lol.

Sweats had tapered right down once i figured a good amount of carbs to have of a night time and my brain and mood was much better now i wasnt compounding sleepless nights back to back.

At this stage is when i got the true benifits of tren. I felt like an animal, i would get in the gym and feel like bending barbells.
Strength bounced up and just felt dominant all the time. Body changed fast too and was the first time seeing abs since my early 20s lol.

Its very strong tren and happy i dont need much, at that dose i was able to keep all my bloods in range or extremely close to. Some can handle the side effect at high dose but the lack of sleep for me just killed everything too much recovery wise and work. I do a high risk job and need to be on the ball at all times.

Ill be running tren ace this time around, so might kick it off at the 8 week mark and push it a little higher maybe. If i respond well i go for it, not it was be fast enough to drop it back to wherr i knoe works well.

Winstrol im not that keen on as my joints are already a little sore. 😂🦴🦿🦾

Went for a solid walk with the wife and new dog we just adopted 😁 to get a few more steps in for the day and kick start digestion after dinner.

Will assess weight and visually at the end of this week again. If all is tracking well we continue, if not i might drop the carbs down a touch on each day.

Took some photos when i got home, probably should have taken some of my back considering it was back day 😅 but some front on shots anyway. Full day of eating definetely takes away some detail around the midsection 🤣 and my post workout meal too – beef, eggs, rice.

It crosses my mind everyday brother haha.. however the thing is, everything is working as planned and its hard not to get a little greedy sometimes. Its in our nature to want 'more'.

Now if i do and it kills the momentum of the cut it can almost become a restart button leaving me without much gained muscle and even less time to get the cut rolling again as we only have 11 weeks left..
The weightloss doesnt always pick up where it leaves as our metabolisms can shift.

So the gamble is possibly stall what production is already happening for only potential small gains to be made.

I think my arms are taking lead with development but hoping the legs start to catch up with them lol.

Mid section needs the most work but that what the cut is for 😁

Chest is by far the most lagging part for sure. Next year will be my main priority really trying to fill it out out tighten the skin in that area.

We keep putting in the work😄 hope im doing the brand proud brother 🙏🔥
 
Quick comparison for anyone following the EQ - estrogen topic

First bloods were 500 test/400 EQ, and E2 was crushed. Could have been read accurately with an LCMS test, but there was no point; it was already tanked and below the bottom range.View attachment 127737

The next bloods were taken 5 weeks after the first, with an increase in test to 750mg and keeping the EQ the same at 450mg. Estrogen has increased but not high enough, still with almost a 2:1 ratio.

Will assess weight and visually at the end of this week again. If all is tracking well we continue, if not i might drop the carbs down a touch on each day.

Took some photos when i got home, probably should have taken some of my back considering it was back day 😅 but some front on shots anyway. Full day of eating definetely takes away some detail around the midsection 🤣 and my post workout meal too – beef, eggs, rice.

I think my arms are taking lead with development but hoping the legs start to catch up with them lol.

Mid section needs the most work but that what the cut is for 😁

Chest is by far the most lagging part for sure. Next year will be my main priority really trying to fill it out out tighten the skin in that area.

I second that. The guy has a good heart and good intentions, great work effort both on EVO and off EVO in the gym and has contributed like a mofo on here for a long while! I think VIP's should be good for EVO but good humans too and he's one.

Moved weight up by 10kg for both but drop off 1 set. Will add it back or maybe a burner set next week. Want to try and push more weight first

Heel-Elevated Bulgarian Split Squat —

Same as the squats big increase in weight but dropped of a set. My ROM on this exercise has significantly improved. Stay in full control all the way down to the bump stops with complete instentional drive up.

What a monster of a day, amd not in a good way 😂
12hr heavy shift at work, might as well be lugging 40kg barbells around all day then a 2hr drive home in traffic🫠.

Still got in there for a quad session but dropped some volume back and just pushed the intensity with what energy i had left.

Got home and cooked some meals for the next few days, no excuses then.

Solid steps in and fuck all sleep last night as we are straight back into it today leaving home at 4am.. is what is it lol.

Rest day today, much needed.

Big weight on the hacks, impressive, knees cope alright? It seems to be my weak point
Yeah they started to but i run 7mm sleeves now and i feel it helps heaps especially at the bottom part of the movement

I genuinely feel they do, whether its more of a mental thing or not there is 100% a feeling of more stability when you push out of the hole in a squat. Even more so for narrow and low foot positions.

Yeah sweet, exactly what I’m looking for…I’ve used straps many years ago when i was pushing real weight but can’t be bothered with all that…this seems like an easier option
