So after an adventurous 2025 (yes I know it hasn't finished yet), it is time to get my 2026 log up and running. So why start it now? We are in the middle of a power outage and I have the time to do it actually🤷‍♂️.
I have started the cycles and training program already and it is a fairly simple regime for the year. Training will be 4 days a week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with the option to shift days if life intrudes on this schedule.
Cycles will be as follows for 2026:
1st cycle 13 weeks - TRT - 62.5mg Test E every 3 days
2nd cycle 13 weeks - Test E, Deca, Proviron, doses TBA
3rd cycle 13 weeks - TRT, Retratrutide
4th cycle 13 weeks - Test E, Deca, Proviron, doses TBA

The Blood Test results a couple of weeks ago were:
Testosterone 17.4 (6-28 range)
SHBG 45 (15-50 range)
Free Test 300 (200-600 range)
Oestradoil 75 <150)

Anything else was either irrelevant or skewed by my current medications so not necessary.

As I am still on a number of prescription meds till at least March TRT is the only Ped that won't contraindicate with them and is perfectly safe.
I am on the following support supplements:
Magnesium
Vitamin D
NAC
Probiotic
Multivitamin
I won't be adding to this for a while as some do not react well with my medications
I won't be really watching macros till later in the year and will just eat sensibly.
Training today was:

T-bar rows 8 x 20,30,40,50,55,60,65,70kg
Behind neck pull down 8x30,40,45,50,55,60,65

Then we had the power outage so I also did:
Leg Press 10x 50,75,100,125,150,170,190,210,230
Call press 10x 50,75,100,120,140,150

All fairly light on and still building up.

So here we go.....

I am going to do this log a little different from the last one to keep things interesting, mostly to me 🙃.
Weight today 107.7kg
BP and HR 114/56 and 48
I have to note these every day so I might as well log them.

Training - Arms
Narrow Press 8 x 20,40,50,60,70,75,80kg
Ezy bar curls 10 x 5,10,15,20,25,30kg (bar not included)
Reverse curls Ezy bar 3 x 10 x 5kg

Easy, quick and an extra workout since I did todays leg day yesterday.
Recovery is better but not as good as it could be and will be eventually. Is going to take a few more months yet to feel 100%.

I am going to add different images each day. Some will be training, some will be food, and some will be nature.
Today is an echidna that pops in now and then to visit.

I will share them once I get a chance to print them up. As I outlined there are a few interesting reads in them due to my prescribed meds. Another thing I have to get done regularly at present.

Bros, that's a good little workout. I like the t-bar rows and behind back pulldowns. Just be careful on those pulldowns, constrain the discs and neck @Kopite67

I am very careful @ceo. They work so well for me but I don't pull to my neck base as I have hit that before and it hurt....alot 😬

Brother @Kopite67 is back!! Outstanding!

Give us an update on your Afib and powerlifting journey... we might actually be on the same meds I take heart meds and might be getting off of them finally in 2026. If you'd rather DM me about them go for it!

I love how you plan out your entire year that's discipline.

Eat sensibly like you say, keep at it in the gym and just glad you're back on EVO brother, welcome! The finer details we can sort out later.

Bros, I like rows better this way. You're not putting so much pressure on neck.

Glad to have you back and logging. Looks like someone was doing some serious cycle planning/dreaming while they were laid up. The whole year planned out, nice. Looking forward to following along again. Smart move taking it easy and slowly getting back into. Especially while you're still on those meds. Don't wanna push the HR to high just yet I'd imagine.

Is there any kind of rehab plan your doc mentioned? Like a way to slowly repair your cardiovascular system?

Not sure what kind of animal that is. We don't have things like that in America. @Kopite67 I have gophers and stuff like that.

Hi brother, update is:
Latest Echo had my LV Ejection Fraction up to 53% from 30% in September so it is now in the healthy range again. AFib is now gone and I have normal sinus rhythm again.
CT of lungs had a fair amount of inflammation still but it is now being worked on and will recover to 100%. Knowing I have a couple of high allergic reactions has helped that immensely.
And the meds....I am on:
For my heart - Amioderone, apixaban, bisoprolol, valsartan, dapagliflozin, furosemide and spironolactone.
For my lungs - Prednisolone and an antibiotic called resprim forte.
I was taken off digoxin last week and they are all being slowly reduced. Hopefully next month I will lose a couple more.
I feel really good and as long as I don't over push it in the gym I will be fine. Even then, my heart is basically full recovered and I just get tired faster so need to understand that.
@BeMe
I am basically being left to do my own recovery program since I have more experience on hand myself and with the evo family that I could ever get from a hospital physio.

That's great news bro. Just remember to take it slow. Its just like coming back from any other muscle injury. Gotta ease back into it. You'll wanna hit the probiotics hard once those antibiotics are through as well.

We'll be here with ya every step of the way bro! All the way back to full health and beyond

Wow bro this is pretty ironic my EF was 23% and I got it back up to 52%. I have an ECG with contrast in 3 weeks and will find out where I'm at now and then we'll start the process too of getting off the heart medication. I have no AFib anymore either.

I'm also on a valsartan/sacubitril combo called Entresto and on bisoprolol as well. I take furosemide twice a day as well.

I kinda figured we'd have something in common here.

With me it's because I drank myself to death and my heart stopped. They paddled me back and now almost 6 years later I'm 4.5 years sober and the heart is back in good shape but it was uphill for sure.

I think prednisone is awful and I'm looking forward to hearing about them reducing or getting you off that one day.

Thanks for the trust in letting us know your medical history. Mine too is somewhere in my log around page 2 (on a desktop) or page 10 (on a mobile).

Keep us posted bro and Godspeed with everything! I'll be following.

@Kopite67 Prednisone is really something you should only take as a last resort, but it sounds like in this case it's working for you. Hopefully you can get off of it with minimal damage.

That is a heck of a lineup right there, but it's good that you're posting this. I think some people can take a look and ask their doctor about taking some of these products for their heart and for their lungs. @Kopite67

Great news man and a massive credit to you, because these things dont just happen, your making it happen.

@Kopite67 Prednisone is really something you should only take as a last resort, but it sounds like in this case it's working for you. Hopefully you can get off of it with minimal damage.
This is a prescribed course by my respiratory specialist. Started at 50mg per day and will titrate to 10mg per day by about mid Jan. Hopefully off it by late March.
Lungs were totally fucked from the pneumonia and inflammation associated with Pulmonary Interstitial Fibrosis. Still are to a certain degree but I will totally recover eventually. Patience is my companion on this trip.

Once again have a great day and a very Merry Christmas Evo Fam 💙
You couldn't find us some red and green parrots for xmas??? Jkjk lol

The colours in those parrots are gorgeous. Can't believe they just fly around where you live. The coolest thing we get us hummingbirds.

Merry Christmas to you and yours and for sure 2026 is gonna be wayyyy better than 2025!

There are some red and greens that drop in but didn't yesterday 😅. We get many varieties and I love seeing all of them and feel very lucky to do so.
Yes brother, 2026 is going to be a new adventure and hopefully a nicer one than 2025's 🤔🤙
Merry Christmas.

I will share them once I get a chance to print them up. As I outlined there are a few interesting reads in them due to my prescribed meds. Another thing I have to get done regularly at present.
thank you :D

This is a prescribed course by my respiratory specialist. Started at 50mg per day and will titrate to 10mg per day by about mid Jan. Hopefully off it by late March.
Lungs were totally fucked from the pneumonia and inflammation associated with Pulmonary Interstitial Fibrosis. Still are to a certain degree but I will totally recover eventually. Patience is my companion on this trip.
Definitely it's a drug that's there for a reason in emergency situations.

Good to hear you got everything sorted mate.

Look forward to following your progress.

I didn't take either my weight or BP this morning as we were travelling and I didn't have the gear with me.
That said, I'm glad I wasn't able to. My weight would have been way up as I know I was retaining fluid and my BP would not have been good either I believe.
Over indulged and the interaction between that over indulgence and the meds has been a less than pleasant experience. Serves me right 🫣 though, knew it would probably occur and did it anyway like the idiot I am. Time to go back to a clean and balanced lifestyle for the next several weeks.
That said, I did train and it went well.

Bench 5x 20,40,60,70,75,80,85,90,95,100kg
Incline Bench 5 x40,50,55,60,65,70

None of this was a struggle and things are moving nicely. Keeping a lid on quick progression but I would be at around 70% I think.

Despite feeling a bit "off" I was happy with today.

Tomorrow are Deadlifts for the first time since September, so I am looking forward to these and we shall see where I end up.

I totally forgot to get food porn pics from yesterday so all I can show are some of the remnants from the glazed ham, lamb and chicken that I had today.

Thanks brother. It is nice to feel I have some semblance of control on the trajectory now. However, you are absolutely correct, I have to temper my natural instincts to just go for it. Plenty of time to do things slowly....just have to keep telling myself that 😁

Its the holidays. Even though you paid the price after, you deserve a little over indulgence all things considered. I don't see anything wrong with that, even if your stomach doesn't agree lol.

Thanks for the @ tag I was happy to read this as you're putting a lot of detail into your log and I can relate. Carbs haven't had much business in my body since 2019 when I was dead and needed to start on these meds but 2026 will be different.
.
I would increase water intake and lower carbs to clear out the "overindulgence" buildup which no need to beat yourself up for it, it is worth sometimes. Add psyllium husk and apple cider vinegar with mother before meals (actually always do this). With the meds we take we can over react to fast carbs and shit food. It will subside just give it a week of super clean eating and cardio if you can fit it in.

Also, probiotics are going to be a game changer for you with the meds you're on if you can afford to get some top notch probiotics and double up on them. I use Digest Gold and take 3 caps after each meal.

Thanks brother, this is excellent advice and information. Thankfully I take a probiotic and it is really good but doubling it up is a great idea and I will try that.
Psyllium husk does not agree with me at all and could have something to do with my allergies to grass and some tree fibres. I have tried it a couple of times with unpleasant results.
The over reaction to fast carbs and shit food makes alot sense too so super clean it is for a bit. Thanks again for sharing the knowledge brother.

Got things back on track today.
Weight - 108.5kg bit high for my liking. Need to drop 3-4kg.
BP and HR - 113/62 and 48

Pinned TRT 75mg of Test E.

Meals were much lighter and less carby than they have been. Once again pics are a bit lacking due to not being in the groove of the log yet.

Training today was a bit more of a push:
Deadlifts 3x60, 1x80,100,120,130,140,150,160,170kg
Shrugs 10x 60,80,90,100,110,120

Deads were good. 170 was hard but I erred on the side of less and didn't go any higher.

20251227_040637.webp
Meal 1 Breakfast muffins of lamb and ham
Meal 2 rice crackers, cream cheese, chilli jam and chicken
Meal 3 expresso milkshake post training
Meal 4 salad and chicken

As I previously said pics will get better.
I have been asked about Supplements so I have shown those below.

Strong deadlifts. Are you moving toward seeing about your PB in a single lift?

You will get your heart rate up more and get more hypertrophy by doing sets with 120x7, 130x6 and 140x4 and then finish strong with 150x3+. See if you’re able to do that instead of single reps? You did 11 reps above if could up the reps to 20+ with lower weight you'll reduce chance for injury since you haven't done them since September while also getting in more muscle recruitment and a higher heart rate for your fat loss. @LevButlerov can confirm this though.

BP and HR - 113/62 and 48

Everything looks fine don't worry about your creatinine but your liver is a bit angry at you. Cholesterol is great and e2 is great. Neutros/Lymphos show you're fighting something off still, probably the lung issues. Your Test is mid range so you can bump up the TRT to 100mg if you wanted to especially with e2 in check.

I think with your bloodwork along with the Rx meds we should get you some N2Guard ASAP! I get it off of needtobuildmuscle.com. I run it all year round and order 2 at a time always.

Yes I suppose I am. I have a powerlifting background so I will be definitely gravitating back to that when I feel fully ready. Program is a hybrid at present and has very few conjugate elements, this will change. There will be no restrictions this year. I have 3s and 5s and some bodybuilding stuff in there at present however once I get clearance I have a few very specific targets I am heading for over the next couple of years. Going to be fun 😁

This was done just after I dropped a couple of the meds and had the Amioderone dropped to 100mg a day from 200mg. That shit is toxic as fuck. Prednisone doesn't help my liver either. I will look up the N2Guard, thanks

Yes it is. Not really sure what type it is, that was in one of the paddocks "helping" reduce the rabbit populous 😉
as long as protein there :D

and rabbits you got a lot out there? can catch eat? @Kopite67

Weight today 107.8
BP/HR - 107/59 and 47.

No training today, but one where my frustration levels were way up.

I had two occasions today where I had to go and have a sleep because my body had not recovered sufficiently from yesterday's push at training.

When I say had to, I do mean had to. It is a deep tiredness that only sleep can alleviate, and after a couple of months now it is deeply frustrating because it means I am barely 70% recovered.

That tiredness also means I forget simple logging items like taking food pics, for the 3rd day running, and it's irritating 😑.

I thought I was progressing faster than that so a bit of sulking has been in order. My totally impatient nature obviously doesn't help this.

So no food pics, just a peregrine falcon we saw nesting at the hotel.......on the holiday we took in Queensland..... where I caught Covid..... that started all this crap...... Seems appropriate 😒

I have no idea actually @LevButlerov , I really have no limits on food placed on me. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. My rest and sleep are good on that note.

Today was a much better day.
Weight was 107.8kg
BP and HR 114/58 and 47 bpm

My meals were a bit cleaner today and at "some point" I will get macros done again 🤔

Meal 1 - glazed ham on cream cheese, avocado and 2 x muffins
Meal 2 - Strawberry protein milkshake post training
Meal 3 - Roast Lamb and salad
Meal 4 - Marinated Roast beef and low carbon potatoes.

Pics for most today except the lamb and salad which was really awesome.

Training
Box Squats 3x 20,40,50,60,70,80,90,100kg
Calf press 8 x 50,75,85,95,105,115kg
DB Shoulder Press 10 x 5, 7.5kg
3x10x 17.5kg (extra)

Training today was good. Best this has moved in years. Things are definitely going to be a bit epic this year. Mood was much better and I was nowhere near as tired. Overall an improvement.

A nice relaxing day overall with a fab training session.
Weight 107.7kg
BP 105/61 and HR 48 bpm

Once again some nice meals today and since weight is holding I am not overly concerned. Especially since my training is going so well.
Training
Bench
5x 20,30
3x 40
1x 50,60,70,80,90,100,110,120kg
Flat flys 10x15kg, 4x10x17.5kg
Hammer Curls 10x 15kg, 5x10x17.5kg

This was surprising today as my bench single was about 20kg further along than expected, and still had more to go 😁.
Recovery is improving steadily and I am kind of excited about where things might get to since I am still nowhere near 100% capacity.
Might even toss in a powerlifting comp in late 2026 if my numbers are where I want them
@HarleyGuy finally remembered that tag 🙄
So some pics..a nice mix today.

For anyone serious about their physique related goals, the importance of clean food and nailing micronutrients can't be overstated! It's hard to guestimate like this and consistently head in the right direction.

Food itself doesn't look too terrible! Just gotta get consistent with it :)

I would gather you believe I have physique related goals brother 🤣. I have always just wanted to shift as much weight as I can and stay in reasonable condition. Powerlifter to my core 🙃

Box squats are very effective because they prevent you from being able to cheat when you're training, so I really have a lot of respect for them. And they're less pressure on your neck as well. @Kopite67

The training definitely looks good. @Kopite67 Box squats are on point, and I like what you're doing with the food. Some good-looking stuff you put together.

@Kopite67 good to see your blood pressure is looking really good, and your heart rate at 47 beats per minute is very good as well. That means that you will have an athletic heart, and that's very healthy for you.

I made the move about 10 years ago and have never looked back. I truly believe that they have helped my rather dodgy knees and made them significantly stronger and overall, better. You are so right about the neck too @ROIDDERS. That coupled with using a monolift has made a world of difference.

It is a new exhibition in the Australian War Memorial, and yes it's a plane they somehow hung from the roof. I work for a different mob and we got a sneaky peek because we "know a guy" 😁. It is going to be pretty cool actually but it did cost many dinero for the works. I added another picture below.

Yeah, the neck is something we don't want to mess around with.

bros years ago i went to museum in detroit henry ford museum. they had cars, planes, etc. pretty cool stuff

I am going to do two posts today.
Firstly my usual daily one and a second summing up 2025, which has been different, challenging, almost fatal and unexpectedly satisfying.
So the first.
Weight 109.1kg This was a jump I didn't expect. Could be the late meal or fluid build up. Worth keeping a close eye on though.
BP 112/59 HR 50bpm - still really good

Training
Narrow T-bar rows 8x 20,30,40,50,60,70,75,80
Front pull downs 8 x 20,30,40,50,55,60,65,70
Dips with 5kg tension band 5 x 10

Session was nice and solid. This was a good way to end 2025 gym wise.
Meals were nutritious and clean again.
Today's lunch was a salad, ham and chicken which I finally got a pic of 😱
20251231_133339.webp
And to remind you all where I reside...my usual morning visitors.
Resized_20251230_083451.webp

See you all in 2026.
Now to post 2.

2025 review and thanks

2025 was definitely a different, diverse, scary and unique year for me.
When I started the year I was feeling tired and rundown with less energy. I was into my late 50s and age felt like it was finally catching up with me.
Then a series of conversations with a friend got me onto an entirely different road and a new focus. That was road to PEDs and TRT.
In March 2025 I started TRT which was the first time I had ever taken a PED of any type despite playing state and national football for many years when I was younger.
WHAT A GAME CHANGER. Just bringing my testosterone back up to younger me levels through TRT gave me focus, drive and energy I was missing for years.
I was introduced to the Evo Family and a community of like minded people that I instantly felt close to. I upped my test dosages and starting using other compounds like deca, eq, Ret and primo. My strength was increasing, my body was leaner and I was really enjoying the process.
Then I went on holidays in late July.
Whilst on my trip I caught an acute viral infection which of course I basically ignored.....as I usually did.
In August I got worse and worse and worse. So I took over the counter mess to mask everything, increased my training and even decided to add cardio for the first time ever. By the end of August I couldn't walk 500m without having to stop and thought it was hayfever.
On Sept 9, 2025 I went to my GP to see if I could get something for my hayfever. He listened to my chest for 3 seconds, told me I probably had pneumonia and to go to the hospital immediately. So my wife and I did just that.
I got triaged and whilst waiting had my observations taken by one of the student nurses.
My BP was 177/100, my oxygen sats were 82%, and my resting pulse was 120+. She took it again, got someone else to take it as well and next thing I was in a room hooked up to an ECG, had 2 canula's in and was getting a lot of tests.
I left hospital and the Cardiac Care Unit 10 days later after being diagnosed with acute heart failure, at least 2 cardiac "incidents", a heart using just on 50% of its capacity, a left ventricle that highly enlarged and bi-lateral pneumonia.
Fortunately I made the decision to see a private cardiologist and leave the hospital system and this has got me to where I am now nearly 4 months later.
The Professor is brilliant and the best in the region. He diagnosed me inside 10 minutes on our first visit, got a number of tests done, changed my medication and has given me the very best advice at every stage.
One of his tests inadvertently found issues with my lungs so a second specialist was found. He was just as brilliant.
Since I have been seeing them I have gone from several horrible heart options mentioned in the hospital to a prognosis of full health recovery in time.
So to finish 2025, I am well on the road to full recovery and I am looking forward to a 2026 with a lot less health drama, some serious strength gains and maybe even a powerlifting comp or 2.

I finish 2025 by wishing the entire Evo Family a wonderful 2026 where all your gains are epic and your goals realised.
@LevButlerov @HarleyGuy @Allupfromhere @BeMe @ceo @Ulter @stevesmi @Mobster @Coolguy @ROIDDERS thankyou for all the encouragement and advice this year and especially in the last few months 🩵

I am really happy to finally read all the details of what happened with your heart and lungs brother. Good for you for taking your health seriously and still (slowly but surely please) reaching for the stars with your goals especially in powerlifting.

This now makes much more sense to me: ⬇️
Training today was a bit more of a push:
Deadlifts 3x60, 1x80,100,120,130,140,150,160,170kg

As a fellow former sufferer of reduced ejection fraction and heart issues and still currently being on some of the same meds as you it makes me feel thrilled that your past the dark times of all that drama and looking forward to 2026!

I still say for powerlifting you should be eating more and increasing protein :p, but we have all of 2026 for that.
Godspeed brother EVO will be there with you the whole way!
