I think it has its own kinda beauty. Everything is dry and dead, but then the greens that are there really pop. You have red soil everywhere. Plus there's mountains all around.

Like you said it probably gets old once you're used to it but coming from up here it looks uniquely beautiful.

Today's update is a good one cuz I actually got a fair bit of good news. Whatever was wrong with my elbow, possible tricep or forearm strain, seems to be going away even though I haven't stopped training. Sweet! Being a meathead and pushing through the pain worked for a change.

My BP is down into a healthy range again, even though it was up in the high 130s for a while there. How? I bought a medical grade A&D BP machine and it looks like the shitty cheapo one I had before was just giving false readings. I'll know better over the coming days.

Maybe I can increase my Tren dose afterall right @LevButlerov ??? BP was the only issue I was having on paper, no symptoms. I'm good right lol.

Yesterdays session was powered by Make them Suffer. Thanks to coach @R.AP for making me aware of them. Amazing instrumentals and vocals. Even the dub step mixes were good.

Managed to make some steady progression over last week which I'll take because I've been pushing really hard all week. Being on vacation I've tossed progressive overload theory out the window and going old school and just pushing to technical failure with the odd final set to absolute failure.

Dinner was ordered in last night. Got some Vietnamese chicken on rice noodles with a spring roll. Ordered extra chicken and an egg to throw on top.

Naw this was a new elbow pain that showed up a few days ago. I think I over did my tricep training but I wasn't sure. Day 2 it got really bad actually. Felt like someone was stabbing me in my elbow anytime I moved it. Was a bit worried but it's getting better now day 4 which is a big relief.

I was only teasing about the Tren haha. 1 more week at 35mg then I'll jump to 45 and skip 40 LMAO!!
 
I was thinking of trying a free app for now, as i calculate my macros myself or using chatgpt. Itd be nice to have a tracking app for diet and lifts as well.
I've heard MyFitnessPal is a pretty popular free app that can do all that stuff

MFP is a great choice for a free app, always worth cross reference the inputs as sometimes they can be inaccurate as anyone can add them would be my only advice if new to them

Better we pretend that's what it is lol. Can't change the minds of older people who are set in their ways. Best to just laugh it off or ignore it. Japan is one of the most homogenous societies in the world so it's no wonder the old generation is the way to is.

So I'm running a 5 day upper body focused split right now. So just maintenance volume for my legs. Secondary only muscles are Abs and forearms and get trained twice per week.

The way its setup you have a primary muscle group each day with 3 movements, typically 9 working sets.

Chest, back, bis, tris, shoulders are the 5 primaries.

Then on alternating days those primary groups get added in as secondaries for a single movement, typically 3 working sets.

So in the example above I had shoulders as my primary, then legs, which get hit everyday low volume, abs, and on that day Tri's were the primary that got added in as a secondary for the day.

So at the end of the week I should have
Primary muscles 12 working sets
Quads 6 working sets
Hammies 4 working sets
Abs/forearms 4-6 working sets

As my training cycle progresses volume will increase.

The theory behind it all is you have 1 day where you smash the primary muscles you're trying to grow. Then another day where they're fresh and you can hit 3 high quality sets.

Makes sense mate thanks for the detailed explanation. Sounds like a good setup with the focus muscles getting a day being primary then added as secondary another day.

They have what they call templates in the app that you can choose from. You can auto load excercises into the program or you can choose your own.

I like to tinker a lot so I use the template as a base but build off it a bit.

Rep or weight progression gets automatically programmed week to week.

The main thing that's different about RP is it works off the periodization theory. So leaving reps in reserve and progressively building to a final couple weeks of all out training to failure. This training cycle I've kinda thrown that out the window and I'm pushing every week lol. I'm on vacation so I have the ability to recover right now.

Spoke too soon on the injury with the elbow. Its definitely related to my forearm and it hasn't healed. I have some weird inflammation in my forearm where it feels firm all the time (pic below). You can actually see what looks like a muscle cut all day cuz of the inflammation. Tried doing bicep curls and during the warm up it hurt where the inflammation is and then shot into my elbow where it hurt before. Going to try a heat pad and massage gun to see if I can work it out.

Yesterdays training went very well. Hit my progression targets for the most part and even went above a few.

I felt like increasing my Tren dose to 40mg today but I held at 35mg like I promised @LevButlerov

Still no big improvements or change in feeling in the gym though.

Hit the sauna for last night and it was pretty good. The Tren sweats finally hit me for the first time cuz I was sweating for atleast 10 mins after I got out.

Dinner last night was Japanese chicken curry with rice and potatoes. @Pat7x approved meal haha.

When I was looking into infrared light panels before I remember reading the cheap ones don't do anything. You had to buy the expensive ones to get any sort of decent penetration.

Is there a brand you recommend?

I've a strap from Spud Inc you can wrap around that area.

I don't have a brand but I think I had mine for about $100 but a few clients of mine has $300 lamps not sure the brand @BeMe

@BeMe that's a really good sign with the blood pressure, especially with all the gear that you're on. It just shows that microdosing does have some advantages.

Have you also looked at using ice bricks in your bedroom? I've seen these before in high-end resorts and spas. They seem to really help with not only breathing but also healing injuries. @BeMe

Have you also looked at using ice bricks in your bedroom? I've seen these before in high-end resorts and spas. They seem to really help with not only breathing but also healing injuries. @BeMe

Totally agree. Chcke and broccoli are my favourites. Meal 3 everyday is plain chicken breast with Cholula, raw broccoli with hummus. Then sometimes chicken and broccoli again for dinner haha. Like you said, never gets old

they are actually called SALT bricks. so you can look up salt brick therapy. i'm surprised you have never heard of it but my wife went to a spa that had it and she swore she was able to breathe so much better in that salt brick room she was in and it relaxed her and made her leg pain go away.
a lot of people put them in their bedrooms and it helps you breathe and recover faster. you are a pretty handy dude, you would be able to put this in at your house easily and not spend too much i would think

To be fair, the only reason I do it is to keep the volumes lower so I can use slin pins. Not a fan of jamming harpoons into myself.

My only thing is I do everything possible to keep my room as dark as possible. Maybe I could run it during the day and turn it off at night. I'd be down to try it and see if it helps. Being stuffed up at night ruins my sleep so anything that could improve breathing I'm game for.

Personally the way I think about it is comparing a sliver to a toothpick sized piece of wood. At work when I get a sliver it heals in a day, barely noticeable, no pain. When I get a bigger almost toothpick size of wood stuck in my hand that takes days to heal and hurts for a while, sometimes when bruises.

Yesterday was the first time I noticed that inflammation in my forearm. Tried warming up for bicep curls but it was impossible. The pain was too intense so I had to skip it. Back training was made possible by straps and mag grips. No stress on the forearm at all.

Training was ok. Made a little progression over last week, but also hit alot of the same numbers. Seems my lifts might have stalled a bit. Good time next week my Tren dose is going up to 40mg and we'll see if I hit that sweet spot where my lifts start shooting up.

Dinner last night was a great one. It was cold and snowy so a perfect night for beef stew in a Yorkshire pudding bowl. Nothing better than a stew where you can eat the bowl lol.

Should work really well for you. I’m not sure how long my bp was elevated and that’s unfortunate.

Mine goes up pretty linearly with my weight but it seems like you have a higher threshold for that so that’s cool!

What dose did you run when you were on it? I was reading 10mg seems to be the standard so I ordered 10mg tablets.

I was only teasing about the Tren haha. 1 more week at 35mg then I'll jump to 45 and skip 40 LMAO!!

The Tren sweats finally hit me for the first time cuz I was sweating for atleast 10 mins after I got out.

I felt like increasing my Tren dose to 40mg today but I held at 35mg like I promised @LevButlerov

I'm thinking the exact opposite actually. My thought process is with the tiny gauge needle I'm not getting near as much scar tissue.

I can rotate 6 sites with this small gauge, 8 if I add triceps. So every 6 days I pin the same muscle but with the syringe being so tiny I never even feel it.

you will get scar tissue pinning the same spot no matter the needle. with the smaller needles you also have to factor in its not going deep into a muscle so more chance of scar tissue and abscesses in that space between the skin and muscle

Even if it doesn't work that pic you posted looks amazing. I'd love to have a wall like that. We've done countertops like that made of stone and we install lighting below it to create that same look. Super high end stuff

The forearm inflammation sounds annoying. Has the massage gun helped at all? I find forearms are a decent one for getting in and doing alright with self massage.

Yea the gun is definitely helping. The inflammation is coming down and my range of motion is improving. Well painless ROM anyway

BP reading came in high today, but it was causing my elbow pain when it tightened up so maybe that lead to a higher reading.

Record high weight today. Funny cuz my calories have been down lately to account for my lower caloric expenditure lately but weights is still climbing.

Training was a bit of a mixed bag again. Added a couple reps on some movements. A couple sets I was only able to match what I did last week. Still nothing magical happening in the gym just yet. Probably shouldn't have pushed as hard as I did with triceps given my forearm and elbow pain but it's fine.

Today I'm starting 3 days off with the family up north. Just finished 5 days of training in a row so a few days off feels well earned.

Ordered in last night. Got some chicken souvlaki, Greek salad and rice

can we test something please? lets drop the hgh completely for 1 week and add bpc 500mcg ed pinned closer to forearm for 2 weeks as you get your infrared lamp on it

Probably eventually is the light is somehow diffusing the salt. It would assume it would take a long time to get to that point though

Record high weight today. Funny cuz my calories have been down lately to account for my lower caloric expenditure lately but weights is still climbing.

Training was a bit of a mixed bag again. Added a couple reps on some movements. A couple sets I was only able to match what I did last week. Still nothing magical happening in the gym just yet. Probably shouldn't have pushed as hard as I did with triceps given my forearm and elbow pain but it's fine.

Today I'm starting 3 days off with the family up north. Just finished 5 days of training in a row so a few days off feels well earned.

Ordered in last night. Got some chicken souvlaki, Greek salad and rice

Infrared light will arrive at my house tomorrow. I actually found one with really good specs that was on sale. Going to add it to my daily protocol and see if I see any of the benefits. Its large enough to get my whole body if I sit infront of it

The BPC looks like it will arrive Tuesday or Wednesday.

Meanwhile the forearm is feeling much much better just from 3 days of rest. Worked out pretty good that I did one of this week's training days last Sunday.
 
Ya bro onward and upward as they say. Can't let the past define your future. I'm really big into that mindset stuff and I think it really works. We are incharge of our emotions and responsible for how we feel. Others can only effect us if we let them
yeah, definitely heard you on the podcast. You have a crazy story. I'm not sure though it was true what you said about them barging in your house and stealing your stuff. But it was a good podcast nonetheless and very entertaining.

good to hear, the rest is the issue, once you get rest you'll feel better
 
Probably eventually is the light is somehow diffusing the salt. It would assume it would take a long time to get to that point though
you should definitely do it, man. You definitely are a handy guy. You could probably put it together for cheap.
