Sea turtle release was awesome for the kids. The mums lay their eggs in this spot on the beach and the babies return when it’s time for them to lay eggs also. Really fun experience

Public service announcementI’ve had bali belly the last 2.5 days. While I was at about 75% fighting capacity yesterday I was still not what I would deem COMFORTABLE or CONFIDENT within the control of my own bowel movements. So going to this night safari was a huge risk for me
Videos are not great as we couldn’t use flash. But what I most enjoyed here is that the animals roam free in their own habitats. We, the humans get caged on the back of trucks and drive through the sanctuaries to see and feed the animals. Pretty cool way of doing it. Australia could take some serious notes on this one.

Today and tomorrow will be spent getting tattooed so I am loading up on gastro stop tablets to try plug this leaky faucet so to speak. Thank god I have not been vomiting also. It’s been a lot to handle.

It was an experience that’s for sure. I must have eaten something that had bacteria but I’m usually quite good with what I eat here. Bali and Thailand are very similar. I’ve done both. Bali I preferred a bit more because it offers more of a choice in regards to party central or relaxed family holiday.
But last time I come was pre Covid and it has no changed a lot. More established. They have allowed investors. So lots of Aussies being sole owners of property and businesses. Forces up the price.
Bali was once cheaper than Thailand. Now I’d say they are on par.

Just going through the motions today. A little more focused with showing my boy the ropes and helping him learn his form and connection is always fun as I’m sure we can all remember when we first started out. He’s a great listener and never gets upset when he feels he isn’t getting things right. He just continues to listen and focus
This coming week the new focus will be pushing up the protein intake and separating my cardio from post lift to a completely seperate time of the day in an attempt to focus on recovery after lifts.
