A little of what took place yesterday. The firework show video is too large to upload so instead I’ll share when my friend and I seen it as a good idea to hold the fireworks in our hand and you will see one explode on me. All safe and no injuries but not my brightest of moments.

Sea turtle release was awesome for the kids. The mums lay their eggs in this spot on the beach and the babies return when it’s time for them to lay eggs also. Really fun experience

Public service announcement 📣 I’ve had bali belly the last 2.5 days. While I was at about 75% fighting capacity yesterday I was still not what I would deem COMFORTABLE or CONFIDENT within the control of my own bowel movements. So going to this night safari was a huge risk for me 😂😂

Videos are not great as we couldn’t use flash. But what I most enjoyed here is that the animals roam free in their own habitats. We, the humans get caged on the back of trucks and drive through the sanctuaries to see and feed the animals. Pretty cool way of doing it. Australia could take some serious notes on this one.

*zebras were my favourite but video didn’t save*

Today and tomorrow will be spent getting tattooed so I am loading up on gastro stop tablets to try plug this leaky faucet so to speak. Thank god I have not been vomiting also. It’s been a lot to handle.

I’ve got electrolytes and plenty of it. The first night had me with severe dehydration. And dizzy spells. I’ve been using tablets to help the bowel movements but they seem to more so just block me up so that I’m not frantic getting to the toilet.

It’s also very common thing for me in this country.

Bali and Thailand are very similar. I’ve done both. Bali I preferred a bit more because it offers more of a choice in regards to party central or relaxed family holiday.

But last time I come was pre Covid and it has no changed a lot. More established. They have allowed investors. So lots of Aussies being sole owners of property and businesses. Forces up the price.

Bali was once cheaper than Thailand. Now I’d say they are on par.

I was using the standard rolled oats. It was @LevButlerov who recommended switching to the steel cut and judging by his physical appearance I’m more than happy to take his advice bro.

Not entirely sure of the point behind this comment though. I wasn’t aware I was comparing different types of oats and ranking them. 🤨

End of day one I was going into shock. Day two I handled a lot better on the top half of the stomach. 2 full days is definitely a lot to handle for myself.

Bali is much cheaper for tattoos than here in Australia and it’s also extremely good quality work where I go to.

I’ve made progress with all input you have made in regards to my diet brother. I enjoy the steel cut also. When blended down i can turn it into a cake batter when mixed with the protein.

Mobster just likes be a tough critic I guess. I just hope he doesn’t deter others from being consistent with their logs.

A little more focused with showing my boy the ropes and helping him learn his form and connection is always fun as I’m sure we can all remember when we first started out. He’s a great listener and never gets upset when he feels he isn’t getting things right. He just continues to listen and focus 🧘

This coming week the new focus will be pushing up the protein intake and separating my cardio from post lift to a completely seperate time of the day in an attempt to focus on recovery after lifts.

Just concerning because his uncles on his mothers side are absolute specimens. to put it into perspective. The older uncle was 17 years old and incline pressing 80kg dumbbells for reps. And looked like he was running some serious gear. But just genetically gifted.

New meal added into the diet is 150g chicken breast w/ 100g brocoli and a dash of American mustard. Really hits the spot as my final meal shared with the walnuts.

This brings my calories upto 2935
273.58g protein
225.58g carbs
96.97g fats.

I may possibly tweak things a little further to bring protein closer to 300g but for now I am happy. New meal pic posted.

Leg workout today I was feeling a little off so I switched it up a little and used the smith for my squats so I could still go nice and deep.
