Also did a polar plunge yesterday for the first time. Remarkably easy after doing cold plunges regularly.

Typically when i run my primo at a 1:1 with test my estrogen is completely in check i like that my body repsonds that way, as far as lh/fsh being on trt or gear they will always be crashed or close to it, just how it is nothing to worry about.

Thanks. You know we aren't in Texas. I couldn't openly embrace another man down there. This is on the coast of Connecticut.
 
Finishing up your workouts with sit-ups and exercise ball crunch is my favorite thing to do as well.

I love that style of training.
 
Nice job doing glute Hammer, raises and doing the sled pull. That's not an easy training session at all.
 
Look in really good man. The sled drag will definitely work up your conditioning and wear out your legs.

Where is that beach located?
It looks more like a lake to me.
 
It’s a public beach in Greenwich, CT. The outside temp that day was like 38 F and if I had to guess the water was in the low 40’s. Definitely warmer than the cold plunge at the gym.

The coast of Connecticut is on the Long Island Sound so the water is a bit calmer and warmer than the Atlantic Ocean.
 
Definitely. He’s also a decade younger and a trainer. I’ll live knowing I work a normal job and have 2 young kids.

@ajg223 your training is good but with this high volume you need to cut sets a bit imo
 
I haven’t been great at updating the log daily. I am 8 weeks in and planning on running another 4 weeks. I am pleased, but not thrilled with the results thus far. Diet is going to be what takes me from current body fat % to single digits and as a 41 year old working father of young children, I am not sure I am willing to make the sacrifice it will take. I eat healthy but didn’t say no around the holidays and occasionally cave day to day to eating unhealthy snacks. Anyway, I feel amazing in this cycle. So much more physically comfortable than just a higher test dose. Obviously the mass has changed a lot less. I think I put in almost 8 pounds of muscle in my first cycle. This one only one. Including my before and current InBody scans and photos.

You have made progress @ajg223 you look great. But even with snacks, you can prep better choices right? protein bars, nuts and seeds, try to prep some bars so you dont need to snack unhealthy.
can you update some training too?

You're not going to turn into Arnold that fast.

You got to take your time and set a year over year, goal.

The more you cycle, the less feelings, you'll have like that.
 
I'm happy to see that you put on about 8 lbs of muscle.
That is truly a big change.
 
Remember, muscle and muscle tissue are two different things.

So, you definitely have room to improve. Don't worry.

These were my working sets. All had a few sets to build up. Just started doing the RP Muscle Atrophy programming. Two working sets don’t seem to be enough. They are high rep and I am choosing weights that bring me to failure. I just needed a change as I’m not pleased with the definition I am creating. I don’t need/want to get larger, but would like to get more definition.

Bench Press
2x15 at 145 lbs (can go up slightly next time)

Chest Fly Machine
2x15 at 110 lbs

Barbell Split Squats
2x10 at 135 lbs (found a weakness here)

Standing Defecit Calf Raises using Leverage Squat Machine (not standing on an angle, hanging heels off back edge)

2x20 at 225 lbs (go up)

Sit Ups and Windshield Wipers Superset
2x20

25 minute Sauna
 
How many kids do you have?
I asked because many of us also have kids, but we still have time to dedicate
Two kids. I am in the gym 6 days a week. That is a non negotiable. They are generally 60-90 min work sessions. Wish I had the time for more. No excuses, just have to be honest with myself that if I’m not willing to be disciplined on the diet 95% of the time I have no right to be disappointed in the results.

i have 2 kids too but my ex wife took them away from me.

the first time when she left me, the 2nd time when she killed herself.
