So this happened yesterday. That's 11 x 20kg/44lb plates per side of a safety squat bar. Over on my log is a screen-grab of the 1 rep with what amounts to 1014lbs on a Hatfield Squat. Mind you I'm in bits today so no gym lol

As an aside I'm on that photo wall at the back

Well, to be fair, I try not to pop into prison as often as yourself. Like never

But I do like ice cream so there's that lol

bro lol. imagine if we bunk mates and have to share same bed.

🔥🔥 Fun little breakfast I made the other day, as you guys know I love cooking

❌ This was not for me though, sticking to my reverse diet like glue right now hahah

🍳 the dish: poached eggs, toasted ham, sourdough bread, wild mushrooms, chard corn, pesto salsa. Obviously not macro friendly haha

this is a pic of my daughters dolls that are still in her room
everyday I walk in there and sit on the bed and cry
I really miss her. she has not talked to me in a long time
i'm thinking about just selling them just to get back at her for the pain she put me through
Brother stay strong life is difficult and relationships with families just add a different dynamic.
I hope you can mend what has been done and you both can get closure but with your daughter sadly there is sometimes nothing you can do
I know how this is my brother.... Hit me up if you ever need to chat

Before my dad passed away we used to build and restore old Harley’s together outside of working with each other for a long time 😂 working with family is not for the feint of heart 💀

This was his pride and joy that I’ve been slowly working on restoring after neglecting it and my feelings for a long, long time.

87’ Heritage soft tail - still original colours and runs like a dream now

having hobbies is a very important thing. we are very social creatures but we are also very curious and intelligent creatures and we gotta have hobbies or we get bored and depressed

Talking about Hobbies. This is one of mine. Radio Controlled, helicopters, planes and Drones.

Here is a Pic of my Kasma Faifa 700, run of 12s lipo Batteries. Good fun, but not when you crash 😁

Thats awesome bro. She looks beautiful. I have flown my fair share of 450s and 500s and some foamy 3D planes myself. Even had a 50CC gasser 3D plane, but could not get enough time to assemble. But once I moved to Aus, had to sell and leave everything behind. My hands were itching recently and ordered Realflight controller lol. Feels more real wearing VR headset but the quest 2's resolution is nowhere enough TBH.

What gear are you running, which FBL unit and servos?

I got right into them too Pigsy. Not as good as yours though. They are good fun.
My father in law has a float plane that stores in his shed out on the lake & takes off right out front of his house so he got a matching large RC plane on floats to use for fun. It was an absolute pearla until it ended up in the tree tops 🤣

Thats unreal pigsy. Never would have guessed you as an Rc fella.
You've reignited the young fella in me 🤣
I remember getting the mini ones and having challenges with my kids inside who could land on random things in the house 🤣 microwave, lamp shade, everything haha.

Have you watched those crazy videos of the nitro ones upside and going crazy? Ive got no idea how they can think that fast.. fast twitch muscle memory i guess

Yeah love it, relaxing
Any hobby that is a relaxing outlet for us is gold mate. Id imagine you have heaps of room on.your property.
Whats the max distance one of those bad boys can go?

One of My hobbies is fishing. Season will start in October for me so I will get some pics. I lead a busy life so taking 4 hours once or twice a week to do it is my therapy
It is so relaxing and peaceful as long as you find a good spot where nobody bothers you and you get a steady bite

Line of site for three RC Helicopters and planes. The Drones with goggles around 3 miles away. Could get 50 miles. With illegal radio gear frequency.

Use to do a lot of fishing when younger. Now only get out a couple times a year

I'll post up some stuff from my Physical Culture collection. I've a (knackered looking) 1901 bound volume of Sandow's Magazine (as in the old strongman) which is the oldest. See below. Good condition versions of that are between £500 and £900 or so. I paid a fraction. At a guess I'm up around 8000 books and magazines. I started collecting about the same time I started lifting - 1980. But there's only 2 magazines published now so it's books and vintage only. Only recently I purchased a block weight, 66lbs globe style dumbbell and two throwing weights. The library is in what was the former club function room which is well over 1000 sq ft and most of the collection is at best 300sq ft. A buddy donated a globe bar and another two recliner chairs so it's a nice chilling space too

I gotta say I've been lucky with many items and met some of the BEST Iron Game historians - inc the late Terry Todd, the late David Webster OBE and worked with David Gentle when we published Muscle Mob Magazine and others. Locals who are into weights and a little history offer me stuff or tell me if they've seen stuff on sale. I've NEVER paid silly money (don't want too lol). There's probably a hope my daughter will sell it when I'm gone and enjoy the cash value ha ha

In terms of out and out value to collectors my signed by the author and (subject of the book) Steve Reeves book is probably the one. A few years back I saw a good condition unsigned going for $400 on eBay. I was gifted it

I remeber my friends importing some radio gear for FPV in my name because I had a ham radio license. I never got into FPV myself though. Things have changed so much today.

@CypherOCE sick bike!!

that is a beautiful beach @Wheelhouse87 what is the water temperature like? is it cold year round?
Cold at the moment mate since its winter.. still go for a swim though to refresh and let the salt water clear me out.
In summer its beautiful unless the Nor east winds bring the colder water but in summer its not normally a worry

Nice bike

I need to catch a spider web, like this next. Look stunning
Spider web? You got a ton of spiders in AU right? lol :P

Yes plenty. The common venomous one here is the Red Back. The Eastern States have more venomous Black Widow

Hate them and snakes lol

Speaking of venomous Australian animals - found this beauty on my last coastal holiday. blue ringed octopus - has a painless bite and has enough venom to kill 26 adults - 3rd deadliest animal in the world - we also have the number 2 and number 1

wow i would think you wouldn't even know what killed you. great way to murder someone just throw one of those things at them lol

australia needs these killer animals btw. it helps balance nature. without those deadly snakes the roden population would be insane. people don't realize that. same reason the oceans need sharks. but most people are fucking stupid they don't get that.
