Veteran Log TRT Bridge to 12-14 Week Blast Journal

Hit core and cardio today, my usual core routine, with 30 mins of zone 3 elipitical.

Did some meal prep for the week 😁.
Progress shot - really wish I was bigger but I am getting pretty lean.
Good core and cardio day, that zone 3 is hard! :D

Had the weekend on at work, fortunately I generally rack up 15k to 20k steps at work which I count as cardio 😂.

Hit my full body finisher on Saturday, which I love, I started with legs this time though which made the session a bit of a push, but I feel so strong and energetic in the gym, this little TRT phase has been pretty good to me.

RDL 130kg 3x10 super slow controlled acc

Hack Squat 3x10 165kg - super slow with pause at bottom

Seated calf raise 70kg and Seated Leg curl 57kg 3 sets to burnout

Standing calf raise 90kg and Leg extension 88kg 3 sets to burnout

Incline machine press 3 sets 115kg superset with cable flies 23kg

Lat Pulldown 3x10 86kg superset meadow row 50kg

Seated shoulder press 3x8 60kg

Lat raise 10kg superset with rear delt flies 8kg burnout

Skullcrusher 40kg superset with preacher curl 20kg 3 sets

Cable pressdown 32kg superset with Incline curl 10kg db

I really try and slow down the movements on this session but add the intensity with super sets.

After work today I went and did a bit of core and Cardio, did a smaller version of my usual core routine and then 30 minutes on the elipitical for 6km, mainly zone 3 HR.
Feeling really good tonight, my sleep has been great again, waking up feeling refreshed finally.

I have some pics to show where I am at, honestly I am pretty happy with it, with a month full of travelling and working around the place, being able to adhere to my diet and routine and keep making progress feels really good.

I am loving how lean I am getting, I keep getting comments about how much weight I have lost but I have to be honest I am getting some serious size envy, I cant wait for the bulk cycle coming up to really work on some of my smaller areas, my chest especially.

I am thinking about doing a dexa scan to see where I am at, if anyone would like to estimate what my BF would be? I am currently weighing about 96kg at 193cm

Also, the vascularity I am seeing from the Mast P @Gold Standard Labs is next level, I cannot wait to see what the next stack looks like.

I did your ab workout today! It's tough to start. I did my best! I would have to keep at it to increase my reps. Nice workout! Thanks.

Been training my usual split this week, feeling amazing in the gym, the only thing I have changed is adding a bit of cardio to each session - I am recovering well and enjoying it. I generally aim for 25-30 minutes of good effort on the elliptical, but did some stair climber yesterday.

I have not been able to move the scale past 96kg but I dont think I really have a lot of fat left to lose, I dont really want to take my calories any lower than the 2400-2500 I am eating currently, so I will keep with the cardio and see of that changes anything.

I have a blood donation today which I am going to start doing every 12 weeks, just as an insurance policy for my upcoming cycle.

Playing around with my diet a little, dropping carbs a bit and adding more protein, todays breakfast was 50g oats, banana, whey protein and a couple of eggs.

Hit legs today with another 30 mins of cardio, underestimated how much the blood donation was gonna knock me around, I felt good all day, but did not recover well between sets, but got it done, will learn for next time, kept the same level of intensity just dropped the weights back a bit and slowed it down.

I am cruising along at 2400 Calories still, recovering well, good energy, starting to really see my physique show through which on small doses like 200 sus and 300 mast, 2iu GH is really impressive, I say it nearly every post but I am so impressed with the @Gold Standard Labs gear, I have 4-5 more weeks I want to run this cut for and every week see more and more detail coming through.

Everything is going pretty well, sleep is back to where it should be, feeling great, pinning daily with no pip or issues.

I do think bringing regular cardio in has helped me alot.

Even after the blood donation brother your quads look like they humming after that session. You look fantastic bro exciting where your gonna get in another few weeks 🔥

@Dreamer Donating blood is a wonderful thing. You not only help yourself but you also help others who need the blood. I use one blood and they will actually tell you where your blood ends up going, so it's kind of cool to see that.

Your legs are looking fantastic if you ask me. @Dreamer Quads are definitely huge. And it looks like you're having a blast getting in a good workout.

Thank you, im pretty tall so legs have always been the part im least happy with, I try to hit them hard as I can, I love working legs.

@Dreamer Nothing better than having a nice workout. I'm glad that you're also feeling amazing. The fact that you're recovering strong and you're hitting the cardio as well you're keeping your body healthy. That's a great sign.

That's a serious workout mate! How long did that take? Big hack squats and RDL's there and that meadow row and straight arm pulldown combo must be tough!

I absolutely love the meadow rows, I could never get the feeling from DB row this is way better

Mots-C I am sold on. There's not a lot of human studies but the anecdotal and rodent models show a huge benefit in ATP restoration and overall energy output. It even indirectly contributes to fat loss.

KLOW-80 is the wolverine stack in a bottle. Great for recovery and injuries with the added GHK-Cu and KPV. Just make sure your version of KLOW is dosed probably the GHK-Cu should be about 5:1 with the BPC and TB.

That is a crazy session. I used to do similar workouts years ago but my body can't handle it anymore. Getting to old. Mad respect tho. Hopping on a stair master after that workout shows some hardcore dedication. I never coulda done that lol

Oh man, once im there I just never want to leave, I do have some days where I think I have probably gone a bit far and recover pretty average, but its one of those things, if you love it, why not?

I played football for years before pursuing this type of training and it was not uncommon to leave nothing in the tank on game day, I feel it stuck with me.

Ive been learning that that mindset can get us in trouble too tho. I'm actually on a rest week right now cuz I haven't taken a week off in 3 years LOL. Apparently that's not good. Especially when you're about to turn 41 haha.

Trying my best to learn how to strike a balance and calm that inner demon that always wants to push. It's tough cuz it makes you feel like a quitter when you take even a day off but it's for the best I'm starting to realize

I am going to try lower volume tonight and see how I go.
This log isn’t boring at all in fact just the opposite. At any given time there’s more people on TRT both already on EVO or just joining so these logs are highly valuable.

And yours just got better. I love the new format and your supp list is almost as insane as mine LOL. Supps are highly underrated and underused so you’re ahead of the game already.

How long have you been running the berberine? I tried it and my doc told me to stop right way. I can't remember what markers it threw off exactly...I know it did lower my glucose a bit too much, but there were a couple others it negatively effected. I remember he freaked out though and was like what the hell did you change!!! Stop now! Haha

I've thought about the red yeast too, but he also told me to stay away from that. My LDL got a little outta range on cycle but he says LDL isn't necessarily bad and it will come back down and it did. He's always more concerned about my triglycerides and those are always lookn good.

Boy this is another crazy volume workout. You're a beast! Not quite as insane as the last one but still pretty beast mode!

I'm not sure what your doctor told you, but berberine is used in high doses all the time. Can you try to dig up the markers? @BeMe

Yea for people with high glucose issues right? Usually from eating a poor diet or being pre-diabetic. I know it's very useful for people, but I think if you're healthy and eat well it's not necessary right.

I can't even remember which report it was. I just remember he was going through my markers and saw a few things that were trending negatively and asked me what I changed. Then he told me to stop taking it right away. I still have 2 bottles of it sitting in my cupboard lol

My GP recommended it and my specialist doc was the one who pulled me off it cuz he said the GP doesn't know what he's talking about lol. My my specialist talks a lot of it goes over my head and this was back when he didn't send follow up reports. I'd try to take notes during our sessions but it was tough to keep up. No he sends me a follow up email covering everything we discussed which is really helpful.

Sounds like in your case its needed. For me I know the GP recommended cuz he said I was pre pre diabetic and he didn't wanna see me get to pre diabetic. The specialist says the GPs are just trained to read numbers and don't know the whole picture that well, especially for me on HRT. Then he told me anytime my GP says to take something run it by him first LOL.

Trying to cut down my volume a little bit, I recover well from a numbers point of view but I feel fatigued at times, I love how my body is transforming, but need to perform everywhere else in life too.

My GP recommended it and my specialist doc was the one who pulled me off it cuz he said the GP doesn't know what he's talking about lol. My my specialist talks a lot of it goes over my head and this was back when he didn't send follow up reports. I'd try to take notes during our sessions but it was tough to keep up. No he sends me a follow up email covering everything we discussed which is really helpful.

Sounds like in your case its needed. For me I know the GP recommended cuz he said I was pre pre diabetic and he didn't wanna see me get to pre diabetic. The specialist says the GPs are just trained to read numbers and don't know the whole picture that well, especially for me on HRT. Then he told me anytime my GP says to take something run it by him first LOL.
My Dr has said the same - but similar to @HarleyGuy I dont have much faith; that said my blood sugar is like 3.5-3.7 often and my AST and ALT have been elevated last couple bloods, so I am going to pull Berberine and Red Yeast Rice for a few weeks and see how I go in my next bloods before my cycle.
My lipids and bp are solid anyway

Yea GPs are useless from what I've seen. Pretty rare to find a knowledgable one, especially here in Canada. My HRT specialist tho is incredible. It was pretty funny when he told me just don't listen to the GP and talk to him first lol. Guess he feels the same way we do.

Yea for people with high glucose issues right? Usually from eating a poor diet or being pre-diabetic. I know it's very useful for people, but I think if you're healthy and eat well it's not necessary right.

I can't even remember which report it was. I just remember he was going through my markers and saw a few things that were trending negatively and asked me what I changed. Then he told me to stop taking it right away. I still have 2 bottles of it sitting in my cupboard lol

I know I hear bodybuilders talk about using it interchangeably with metformin on GH. Although John Jewett said that's not a good move cuz metformin is dosed correctly and more predictable. The supplement industry is less reliable then pharma he said.

I don't think its dangerous, I think it's like anything else out there, if you use too much and dont monitor it can be bad. Like psyllium husk, best thing ever for digestion but take too much and dont drink enough water and its bad for you (too much i mean 100+) @BeMe

Up early this morning had my 2IU GH and some electrolytes and hit 35 minutes of fasted cardio trying to keep my heart in zone 2/3 - I loved this, I felt amazing all day. I have felt noticeably leaner and drier all day. - This will stay in my routine.

Exact same diet and macros - I am thinking of going lower by about 200-300 for the last 3 weeks of this cut, but we will see

I have been having some moments of fatigue, dizziness - almost like hypoglycemic type symptoms. I tested my blood sugars a few times and was getting quite low readings - following the convos on here I have decided to drop berberine and red yeast rice for the time being, I am back taking Retatrutide and I think I am pushing my sugar too low - I dont eat many carbs as it is, will monitor and see how I go, but i felt great today.
Everything else is the same.

As seen in my Oura update, my numbers are great, but not happy with the length of sleep - I need to work on this - up earlier from cardio but need to get to bed earlier.

Bro you look fantastic now doubt, im the exactly the same bro i eat almost the same shit every day and just adjust carb volume as needed lol. All the foods i eat are easy to digest and the tick the macro boxes and are mostly single ingredient whole foods.

I was thinking instead of dropping cals by 2-300 daily towards the end could you utilise low carb days on your rest days now. Maybe tiny increase in healthy fats on those day to keep recovery going?

Yeah brother for sure, when those shredz shine through no one wants that to stop haha. I reckon carb cycling might be a better option for you at this stage to get the metabolism moving again. Will allow you to keep performing on training days and get the extra deficit when the cals arent needed.

@Dreamer It doesn't hurt to change some stuff up. Also don't forget those vegetables as well. Maybe switch out the rice for raw oatmeal. There's other carb options like potatoes as well.

Trying to cut down my volume a little bit, I recover well from a numbers point of view but I feel fatigued at times, I love how my body is transforming, but need to perform everywhere else in life too.

Tomorrow I have leg day, and I am going to start doing my cardio fasted in the AM after my GH.

Up early this morning had my 2IU GH and some electrolytes and hit 35 minutes of fasted cardio trying to keep my heart in zone 2/3 - I loved this, I felt amazing all day. I have felt noticeably leaner and drier all day. - This will stay in my routine.

Exact same diet and macros - I am thinking of going lower by about 200-300 for the last 3 weeks of this cut, but we will see

I have been having some moments of fatigue, dizziness - almost like hypoglycemic type symptoms. I tested my blood sugars a few times and was getting quite low readings - following the convos on here I have decided to drop berberine and red yeast rice for the time being, I am back taking Retatrutide and I think I am pushing my sugar too low - I dont eat many carbs as it is, will monitor and see how I go, but i felt great today.
Everything else is the same.

As seen in my Oura update, my numbers are great, but not happy with the length of sleep - I need to work on this - up earlier from cardio but need to get to bed earlier.

I actually got the same symptoms when I was son berberine too. It wasn't too bad but it would happen when I was at work. I crouch a lot and when I would stand up I was getting light headed for a second. I'd actually forgotten about it til I just read your log. I was only eating around 200-250g or carbs a day at the time and no GH.

The reta will do a great job in its place and more.

Can't imagine the pool boy looking even leaner. The pizza boy is gonna be peeled to the bone lol

To be honest man, when I started this I was coming back off my fertility stack, I just started taking TRT again and didnt really know what to expect from my body, I thought I would eat in a deficit and let the GH and Test hold what muscle I had left - I lost a heap during my off period - but very very worth it. With the baby safely past the 12 week mark now, I am finishing up this cut pretty happy with where I am at, I never expected to see a full set of abs and hold even a little size haha.

I have probably 3-4 weeks of this left I want to see how low I can get, but I wont lie, I am pretty happy with my condition but not happy with my size, I will be doing a dexa right at the end to see where I landed, but I am happy just to have this base to push off of now, I have a full cycle and plan for the next bit, I want to lean bulk and get the size back, but I am super excited @Gold Standard Labs list is growing by the day and I nearly have everything I need now, but yeah no real goal in sight, it was more about getting my health, bloods and body in line for the next big thing 😄

Trying to cut down my volume a little bit, I recover well from a numbers point of view but I feel fatigued at times, I love how my body is transforming, but need to perform everywhere else in life too.

Tomorrow I have leg day, and I am going to start doing my cardio fasted in the AM after my GH.

@Dreamer It doesn't hurt to change some stuff up. Also don't forget those vegetables as well. Maybe switch out the rice for raw oatmeal. There's other carb options like potatoes as well.
Potatoes are underrated as a carb source. Full of potassium, and great for heart health and hydration.
 
I am taking a rest day today, I had a shocking sleep last night, I think I am potentially overreaching.

My Oura numbers look good with RHR at 53 BPM and HRV at 80, but they were elevated and low right until about 3am.

Feeling pretty good tonight, will use the time to rest and recover for more AM cardio and a Push/Pull day tomorrow.

I have started some MT2 tonight, so will be logging my skin colour changes for the last 3 weeks of this log, I am currently quite pale so this will be interesting. Started with .25mg today and didnt really have any sides, I will try .5 tomorrow.
