Hi Evo fam,

New to the forum, I thought while I'm here, I might as well contribute and get involved in the community as much as possible. And what better way to do it than to start my very first log ever! Here, I will be documenting my journey to my first BB show in Season C, late next year.

Background:
Used to be an ex-professional soccer player, not in the big leagues or anything but enough to make a good living from it. However, unfortunately, injuries to my ankle ended that career earlier than I would have liked. As part of my rehab I got into the gym full time and from then onwards fell in love with the process of putting on strength and muscle. Fast forward 8 years and now at almost 30 I'm looking to do my first ever bodybuilding comp as I miss the competitiveness of sport. I have now been taking PED's for 4 years, starting very low and slowly escalating as the years have gone by. I now work in the sport science industry and my aim is to compete in season C late next year.

Current Goal:
To keep adding mass for the next 10-12 weeks before going on a cut to get lean and then see where I land, if I have time to add some more lean mass or go straight into prep.

Training:
I believe in a few key principles for hypertrophy that I follow within my training: Progressive overload, weekly undulating periodisation and just hard as fuck training lol

I follow the below 8 day split where I train everything twice within that time:
Day 1 - Back/Bi
Day 2 - Chest / Tri / Delts
Day 3 - Lower
Day 4 - Rest
Day 5 - Chest / Back
Day 6 - Delt / Tri / Bi
Day 7 - Lower
Day 8 - Rest

Nutrition:
I will add the macro and calorie breakdown of my diet in another post later on in the week but below is what I eat every day.

Meal 1 (smoothie):
  • 125g Blueberries
  • 125g Strawberries
  • 30g Dried Cranberries (eaten seperately)
  • 20g Peanut Butter
  • 100g Oats
  • 60g Whey Isolate
  • 30g Honey
  • 250ml Rice milk
Meal 2
  • 200g Chicken Breast (raw)
  • 100g Jasmine Rice (raw)
  • 100g Pineapple
  • 10ml Olive Oil
  • 100g Tomato paste
  • 2g Heart Salt
  • 2g Pink Himalayan Salt
Meal 3
  • 250g 5% Lean Beef Mince
  • 100g Jasmine Rice (raw)
  • 150g Mixed Peas, Corn, Broccoli
  • 100g Tomato paste
  • 2g Heart Salt
  • 2g Pink Himalayan Salt
Intra:
  • 50g Cluster Dextrin
  • 10g Eaa's
Meal 4
  • 100g Oats
  • 30g Rule 1 Whey Blend
  • 1 Large Pink Lady Apple (~223g)
Meal 5
  • 150g Spaghetti (dry)
  • 200g Chicken Breast (raw)
  • 100g Spinach
  • 10ml Olive oil
  • 2g Heart Salt
  • 2g Pink Himalayan Salt
PED's
Have been on the following compounds for the last 6 weeks, escalating to my current doses, which will stay as is for until 20-22 overall weeks. Shots are split ED.

Test e - 750mg/week
EQ - 350mg/week
NPP - 200mg/week
HGH - 10iu per day

Will be incorporating the following peptides/compounds soon hopefully: Mots c, NAD+, Methylene Blue, SLU.

Supplements:
Vit d/k - 10,000/360
Nattokinase - 2,000FU
Leviatrian Nutrition Hemoflow - 2 caps a day
R-Ala - 600mg
Fish oil - 10grams per day

Background:
Used to be an ex-professional soccer player, not in the big leagues or anything but enough to make a good living from it. However, unfortunately, injuries to my ankle ended that career earlier than I would have liked. As part of my rehab I got into the gym full time and from then onwards fell in love with the process of putting on strength and muscle. Fast forward 8 years and now at almost 30 I'm looking to do my first ever bodybuilding comp as I miss the competitiveness of sport. I have now been taking PED's for 4 years, starting very low and slowly escalating as the years have gone by. Are you taking high doses Vitamin C?

I don’t take vitamin c at the moment mainly because I’m already taking quite a few anti oxidants already and while running EQ I’m weary of the increased iron absorption and therefore rise in RBC from vitamin C.

what digestive supps you use?

I do use betaine hcl + pepsin with my biggest meals of the day and also just a normal digestive enzyme supp with those meals too.

But honestly the biggest game changer for me in terms of gut health has been the beef bone broth. Having that first thing in the morning with an empty stomach has made the biggest difference digestion wise.

multis?

Yeah I just use a normal one I get from the chemist. I have quite a bit of fruit and veggies so not sure I really need it but better to cover all bases anyway.

probiotics?

No probiotics, although I’m actually keen to start incorporating some kefir into my diet as I’ve been reading all the snacking benefits it has. So might start having that soon.

psyllium husk?
Honestly never really considered raw psyllium husk. I enjoy the taste of the Metamucil so that makes adhering to it easier plus Metamucil is pretty much just psyllium husk anyway.

I actually played striker or winger haha I used to be really fast (I’m a turtle in comparison now lol). I only weighed like 70 kilos when I played so out on like 45 kg/100 lbs.

I don’t take vitamin c at the moment mainly because I’m already taking quite a few anti oxidants already and while running EQ I’m weary of the increased iron absorption and therefore rise in RBC from vitamin C.
please start adding vitamin C 2000mgs ed, it will help with eq @Muj

I do use betaine hcl + pepsin with my biggest meals of the day and also just a normal digestive enzyme supp with those meals too.

But honestly the biggest game changer for me in terms of gut health has been the beef bone broth. Having that first thing in the morning with an empty stomach has made the biggest difference digestion wise.

Yeah I just use a normal one I get from the chemist. I have quite a bit of fruit and veggies so not sure I really need it but better to cover all bases anyway.

No probiotics, although I’m actually keen to start incorporating some kefir into my diet as I’ve been reading all the snacking benefits it has. So might start having that soon.

Honestly never really considered raw psyllium husk. I enjoy the taste of the Metamucil so that makes adhering to it easier plus Metamucil is pretty much just psyllium husk anyway.

Background:
Used to be an ex-professional soccer player, not in the big leagues or anything but enough to make a good living from it. However, unfortunately, injuries to my ankle ended that career earlier than I would have liked. As part of my rehab I got into the gym full time and from then onwards fell in love with the process of putting on strength and muscle. Fast forward 8 years and now at almost 30 I'm looking to do my first ever bodybuilding comp as I miss the competitiveness of sport. I have now been taking PED's for 4 years, starting very low and slowly escalating as the years have gone by. I now work in the sport science industry and my aim is to compete in season C late next year.

I actually played striker or winger haha I used to be really fast (I’m a turtle in comparison now lol). I only weighed like 70 kilos when I played so out on like 45 kg/100 lbs.

Had an awesome push workout yesterday. On the 7th week of my cycle so everything is kicking full gear (pardon the pun lol). Not sponsored so using a mix of UGL OZ and Raptors oils and GH.

The fullness around the upper body especially chest and shoulders from the EQ is nuts and the overall pumps from the 10iu of GH and lantus is out of this world. Pretty much walking around pumped all day. Increasing my potassium to 100mg/kg has made a huge difference with the fullness and performance as well. Using GH and slin depletes potassium levels so it’s important to increase when on these compounds.

Fasted weight: 116.2
On track with pretty much putting in 0.5kg a week which is the goal.

Workout:
Hammer strength seated chest press plate loaded - 80kg x 10, 75kg x 9

Hammer strength pec dec/fly machine
132kg x 11, 126kg x 10

Low incline DB press - 75kg x 8, 65 kg x 10

Smith machine shoulder press - 90 kg x 10, 90kg x 8

Hammer strength side lateral machine -
56 kg x 20, 56kg x 18, 56kg x 17, 56kg x 15

Rope tricep push down-
25kg x 17, 25kg x 16

Seated dip machine -
120kg x 9, 100kg x 12

Rest periods - 3 mins for big/compound lifts
2 mins for isolation

Blood pressure looking good for 7 weeks in (attached pic). Not on any ARB’s or blood pressure meds. Just managing with electrolyte management, hydration and diet and of course cardio.

Cheeky pump pick attached as well.

Pull workout tonight which I can’t wait for. Got some Mots c and NAD for energy levels so I’ll be pinning these a couple of hours before workout. Keen to see how much they help with energy levels!

Had a meal out last night with the family, Mexican restaurant so quite a few calories but still good food. So bit of extra weight this morning. This will settle throughout the day and down to normal tomorrow. I try to have one off the plan meal a week that I don’t track. Not really because I need to but for family time.

Legs yesterday, had a sick pump. This is my favourite part of the cycle. Midway through when everything is in full swing but still feeling good and “fresh”.

Workout - I keep it simple for legs and do a few key movements but volume is a bit higher than other body parts. I find for legs 12-15 rep range works best for me.

Seated leg curl - 80kg x 12, 75kg x 11, 75kg x 10, last set I drop the weight 15-20kg and do 5 second negatives as many reps as possible 55kg x 15

Cybex hack squat - 200kg x 12, 200kg x 11, 160kg x 14

Hammer horizontal leg press - 240kg x 14, 200kg x 15, 200kg x 14

Leg extensions - 96kg x 13, 96kg x 10, 82kg x 13 with 5 second negatives

DB RDL - 55kg x 12, 55kg x 11, 50kg x 14, 50kg x 12

Standing leg press s/s seated leg press
Here I do 4 sets of each as a superset and rest 2 mins after each superset. I keep reps high in this one 15-20 reps as heavy as I can. The next time I do calves I go heavier with lower volume.

Pump so good could barely flex legs haha

The Cybex hack is so fucking brutal, I love abusing myself on it though haha this is with no reverse band or knee sleeves or anything by the way. Playing soccer for so long has definitely helped in the leg department. I was a really good sprinter so always had quite a bit of explosive power in the legs.

Here I do 4 sets of each as a superset and rest 2 mins after each superset. I keep reps high in this one 15-20 reps as heavy as I can. The next time I do calves I go heavier with lower volume.

Hi Evo fam,

New to the forum, I thought while I'm here, I might as well contribute and get involved in the community as much as possible. And what better way to do it than to start my very first log ever! Here, I will be documenting my journey to my first BB show in Season C, late next year.

Background:
Used to be an ex-professional soccer player, not in the big leagues or anything but enough to make a good living from it. However, unfortunately, injuries to my ankle ended that career earlier than I would have liked. As part of my rehab I got into the gym full time and from then onwards fell in love with the process of putting on strength and muscle. Fast forward 8 years and now at almost 30 I'm looking to do my first ever bodybuilding comp as I miss the competitiveness of sport. I have now been taking PED's for 4 years, starting very low and slowly escalating as the years have gone by. I now work in the sport science industry and my aim is to compete in season C late next year.

Current Goal:
To keep adding mass for the next 10-12 weeks before going on a cut to get lean and then see where I land, if I have time to add some more lean mass or go straight into prep.

Training:
I believe in a few key principles for hypertrophy that I follow within my training: Progressive overload, weekly undulating periodisation and just hard as fuck training lol

I follow the below 8 day split where I train everything twice within that time:
Day 1 - Back/Bi
Day 2 - Chest / Tri / Delts
Day 3 - Lower
Day 4 - Rest
Day 5 - Chest / Back
Day 6 - Delt / Tri / Bi
Day 7 - Lower
Day 8 - Rest

Nutrition:
I will add the macro and calorie breakdown of my diet in another post later on in the week but below is what I eat every day.

Meal 1 (smoothie):
  • 125g Blueberries
  • 125g Strawberries
  • 30g Dried Cranberries (eaten seperately)
  • 20g Peanut Butter
  • 100g Oats
  • 60g Whey Isolate
  • 30g Honey
  • 250ml Rice milk
Meal 2
  • 200g Chicken Breast (raw)
  • 100g Jasmine Rice (raw)
  • 100g Pineapple
  • 10ml Olive Oil

  • 2g Pink Himalayan Salt
Meal 3
  • 250g 5% Lean Beef Mince
  • 100g Jasmine Rice (raw)
  • 150g Mixed Peas, Corn, Broccoli

Intra:

PED's
Have been on the following compounds for the last 6 weeks, escalating to my current doses, which will stay as is for until 20-22 overall weeks. Shots are split ED.

Test e - 750mg/week
EQ - 350mg/week
NPP - 200mg/week
HGH - 10iu per day

Will be incorporating the following peptides/compounds soon hopefully: Mots c, NAD+, Methylene Blue, SLU.
