Female Log Chrons, arthritis and Peptides Log

Mrs-RedNeck

V.I.P.
EVO Logger
Good evening Evo family, glad to be here!!
Let the name tell the story, my man is @RedNeck. This isn't about him though. It's about me. I've been given the opportunity to log for @Peptilia.

Previously tried reta and triz which both done nothing for me.

My current health issues:
Crohns disease. Diagnosed in 2006.
If any of you know anything about it, you would know some people have a mild case and some have a severe case.... mine has always been unstable and a lot of the time, severe.
I lack a lot of vitamins and minerals due to my crohns but also due to medications and medical steroids over the years, I now suffer from arthritis with pretty hectic joint pain.

I've had 3 major surgeries, lost a fair chunk of intestines and last year, ended up with a colostomy bag (which gave me freedom in my life back!)

Peptides I'll be logging are:
KLOW 80MG
I'll be using a measure to equal roughly: 500mcg bpc, 500mcg tb, 500mcg kpv and 2.5 ghk-cu

After a talk with Pep about my health issues and concerns.. my experiences with glp's, hes going to provide me with semaglutide. That update will also come!

Great start , will be interesting to see how you go with the Chrohns and adding in the KLOW.

You have definitely had a rough trot at it.

Welcome to the EVO family @Mrs-RedNeck I'm really happy you joined I think your log and experiences you share is going to help others on here that suffer from the same issues. I applaud you for taking step and welcome with you open arms!

I think the KLOW is going to help you a lot with the arthritis and your dose is bang on. Give KLOW time and it will work it's magic over the months to come.

I think the Sema will help too; appetite suppression will cancel out the food noise and allow you to make all the right choices on what works for you with your gut health.

One of my staff members has pretty bad chrons , i can see how it effects him and his lifestyle. It wouldn’t be easy thing to live with

Thank you for sharing and looking forward to see how this goes for you.

Hey there! No, not taking anything like that. After losing a chunk of my large intestines, everything passes through me rather quickly so no need to take anything to help with break down etc. I haven't had any trouble so far and hoping it continues this way.

This is awesome, a couple that trains together stays together, u guys are killing it and as always look after each other
Thank you! We are both very lucky to have found one another after some pretty shitty past times. We encourage and support one another, no judgement just love! It's bloody beautiful.

Since surgery, life has been a lot kinder to me so I'm hoping it only gets better 🥰

Thank you so much!
Things have been challenging for me over the years so if I can help even one person in a similar situation, that would make me very happy!

Not having all the food noise is definitely a massive bonus. With crohns, Im always hungry which in turn causes other issues. So not having all that madness in my head is definitely welcomed!

I feel for him! It definitely isn't an easy thing to live with. It can get you down severely, even on the days when ppl say we look fine or we dont look sick etc... thats almost like a kick in the gut to be told.
Hopefully he gets the right help and things get better for him.

Thank you 😊

This pass fast but digestive aids would help in your situation, minimum probiotics @Mrs-RedNeck

A very warm welcome to the Evo Fam @Mrs-RedNeck . I hope that things are a bit better at present and that we all in some way can support you in your now chosen journey sister 🩵

Nice work getting started.

I think the KLOW will help overall.

First thing id do is an elimination diet (will take out any inflammatory foods and allow the GI tract to heal) fasting will help this.

Then continue peps, id be cautious around GLPs and slowing of gut motility as this can make symptoms worse. (Id recommend minimal dosing) in my experience semaglutide will be the worst for sides unfortunately.

Work on getting enough omega 3's in the diet.

Thats where id start anyway :)

Sounds like you've been through a lot with the arthritis and surgeries.

Hopefully the KLOW will help! Looking forward to seeing how you go!

Thank you, will take your advice on board.
I've been on sema in the past, in the beginning it made me pretty ill so I stopped but started again some time later. It did help me out a lot based around food noise and helped me to drop some unwanted weight.
Definitely need to tighten up the diet though, thank you

Not a problem, I do think they're a great tool when used correctly. Although anyone with digestive issues i tend to warn against where possible (myself included). They can cause Bacterial overgrowth and other issues due to slowing gut motility.

A couple of things that can help are splitting doses up and microdosing across the week, iberogast actually works quite well for any stomach upset and supplementing with tudca

Thats very handy to know, thank you.
When I first started on it, I was micro dosing, split up throughout the week but that is what was making so sick.
I ended up going with one dose, once a week which worked in my favour.
It's so hard trying to work out what is best for anyone let alone people with bowel issues as each individuals case is so very different.

Yep pretty much trial and error, possibly the total weekly dose was too high when you started micro dosing.

I usually recomend people begin using less than half the normally prescribed starting dose and thats more than enough for most people to stay on, lose weight and suppress appetite enough

Welcome to Evo Sister 😊
Rough go of it the past few years then.
Hopefuly we see some positive results for you in this run.
Chrons is an interesting one.
I wonder if the digestive benefits of bpc157 would help at all?
An elimination diet as mentioned above by @willipede is a great start.

I've been following hubby's log from the start and now I'm looking forward to following yours.

Thank you 😊 I'm no where near as funny as @RedNeck but my case is an interesting one so hopefully still be worth following.

I'm day 3 (shot 2 as I have them before bed) not sure if its wishful thinking but my fingers/hands are already starting to feel better, not as much joint pain! Thinking @Peptilia has some really great gear and really looking forward to seeing/feeling more benefits from it!

Will do an update a week in to let everyone know how its going 😁

💥Day 10 UPDATE💥

Hey all, just checking in with a little update on the KLOW so far.

I noticed in the first few days that my hands were not aching as much as they were which is amazing.

Gut pain has been pretty non existent which is even better!
I have been making better choices with food besides a couple of sneaky cupcakes and ice cream cake on the little rednecks birthday and party day, hey @RedNeck 😝

I did have some unusual pain, redness and bruising at injection site each night that I needed to rub until it eased (havent experienced this in the past with other vendors) but I spoke with @Peptilia, he gave me some pointers which solved the issue completely! Life saver cos that sucked haha

I haven't really got anything else to report on, yet! So far, so good. No negatives here.

Will do another update on KLOW soon and hopefully receive sema soon too 🥰

💥UPDATE💥

The bloody awesome @Peptilia sent out the goods!
I have been meaning to do this update since they arrived on the 17th, unfortunately, the redneck fam was savagely struck down with Gastro!!!
We are all on the mend and good news for me, my symptoms lasted only 24 hours! Thank you Peptilia and the awesome KLOW you have me on!
I honestly believe without this, I would have been sick for a lot longer and likely, way worse than I was!

So on to the new goods!
Sema! Although my weight is almost to where I would like it, being 5 foot 3 inches and 56kg, I would like to lose maybe a few more kg BUT the reason for me wanting to use sema is not purely for weight loss.
Living with crohns disease and having lost quite a large amount of small intestines and a chunk of my large, food (and liquid) pass through my rather quickly so I am ALWAYS hungry.
Being hungry alllll the time, I often made poor snack choices opting for quick and easy 🤦🏻‍♀️ so, I'm really looking forward to trying out this sema to quiet the mind on all the hungry thoughts and hopefully, make much better snack choices!

Last but absolutely not least! It was our mini rednecks birthday on the 12th Feb, he had a pretty cool pokemon party on the 15th (which I think is where we contracted the lovely gastro) BUT that's not what this section is about. Peptilia is WHO its all about, not only did he send mumma redneck the goods, he sent out a gift to the mini redneck for his birthday! How awesome is that.
@RedNeck and I truly appreciate you Peptilia and mini redneck sends thanks. You have made him a very happy little man!

Will post current pics when I'm back to 100% for before and after progress with Sema.

Thank you 🥰 I definitely think the KLOW is working in my favour! Super stoked about that!
