Medically retired in 2019 after 20 years service due to Diagnosis of Operator Syndrome (a specific form of c-PTSD). Sober in 2021 and active member of AA/NA/CA 12-step program. Proud Elite Moderator on EVO. Proud father of 4 children and Stepdad to 3 children and loyal partner to HarleyGirl. All relationships are healthy and very close. Proud Dad to two Boxer dogs named McGraw and Opal.

this will be another fun log. i think 200lbs and 10% body fat is very achievable. you should even get to 8% IMO @HarleyGuy

Come to think of it I hadn't really laid out any concrete numbers but now you got me wanting to really put pen to paper on this! Thanks for the motivation @Mobster.

I shall report back here with my goal lifts on the compounds. I know for deadlift it will be 400+ lbs.

Thanks bro, I'm in a holding pattern til I hit it hard near end of June and it's going really well! The @US-pharmacies Sust500 is my favourite now I'm never going back to lower concentrations.
 
Do you do any extra trap work , or just the shrugs on the dress machine? (Gotta try those)
I do dumbbell shrugs too with straps with the 100lb'ers. And I'll do incline bench with it at 45 degrees or higher, chest on bench with dumbbells. My fave is the shrugs with the barbell press machine because you can go super heavy and ROM is dialed in by default for you; I try not to use straps either because as I get older I want grip strength to stay strong.

I do dumbbell shrugs too with straps with the 100lb'ers. And I'll do incline bench with it at 45 degrees or higher, chest on bench with dumbbells. My fave is the shrugs with the barbell press machine because you can go super heavy and ROM is dialed in by default for you; I try not to use straps either because as I get older I want grip strength to stay strong.

I like these variations - I am going to have to throw them in my rotation!

I actually use this machine in the pic below. I put my feet ahead of the bar and lean back a slight bit, lift it off the hinges and then you're shrugging a barbell and can go to failure and then fail and rotate the bar back onto the hinges seen in the pic.

It's usually used for bench press or squats when you don't have a spotter. The gym sisters also use it for their butt exercises :p

This was the heaviest I've done for shrugs which is 275lbs. The bar resistance solo is about 45lbs (as per what the sticker on the machine says)

That's awesome man! I feel like dumbbell rows are alot forgiving on the lower back if compared to barbell rows - but I am not gonna lie, the beast in me does miss the sheer manliness of a good barbell row!

Cable rows are awesome! what grips you usually use for those? I feel like all those variations are for different purpose, I try to keep it overhand narrow or neutral narrow, feels like working more on the mid back that way.

Depends i like Smith Machine rows for that reason its more controlled since the bar is on a track and balanced you can get a little heavier and its easier on the back imo and from my experience with it being fixed in place.

Agreed. When I do need oils I use macadamia nut oil or even coconut mct oil.
