My man, just your concern for you needs and your families needs says a lot about you bro. I assume you wonder how we all do it. I am not a bodybuilder but I take my gym life serious. 50 year old dad with 1 kid now and a 19 year old that just went off to Marine boot camp today. Years ago when I first started this journey my wife probably didn't even think I was going to stick with it. I did and just like most of the husbands and fathers here I get up at 4am get to the gym before 5. I spend a couple hours or more there. Then go to work. Then spend my evenings and weekends with my family. Even on weekends I get up and go to the gym before they get up. For them they don't really notice anything different because I knock things out while there still sleeping ,other then I talk about it. Now diet that is different. I eat a lot of meat. They like to eat other things that aren't so healthy. In the beginning it caused some conflict but overtime they have seen the dedication and the results. Now my wife most of the time makes sure I have my meat if they are going to have something different. I will have to say we have to find new ways to eat chicken thighs because there getting tired of those. I also have cans of chicken breast and cans of tuna Incase they order pizza or something and there are no meat left overs. You just can't force your lifestyle on them. Food prep is key. The only meal I eat my wife is involved is dinner. I handle my other meal and snacks. Since I am not a bodybuilder I am just trying to be my best. If we go out to dinner for a celebration or something I am going to enjoy myself and have some cake. I believe the social Interaction with family and friends over some burgers and cake is worth it once in awhile.
The big take aways and feel like alot of us repeated are early morning workouts, meal prep, and I throw this one in don't try to force your working out or diet on your family. Just let them watch and see. Actions speak louder then words. As far as peds you should be honest with your wife your on them. My wife knows I use them but I don't give her my detailed cycles that I am on. I keep everything locked up in our safe in our closet to keep it out of the hands of the kids except out GLP-1s we keep in the fridge. She sees all the bottles of stuff in there. I also have a log book/ journal of my cycles in the kitchen of all my injection amounts so if she really wants to know she can read that. She knows about my forum. I tell her about stuff off of here like things body monster says or what Lev tells me to do. If she was really interested in things she would have read my logs but she is not that interested. As long as I give my family there time because time is love for them. Alot of us husbands and fathers on here making it work. You will too. We are here to support you. Start a log and then we can encourage you on your journey, give advice on anything going on in your life and help tweak anything in your training, diet, and PEDs. Look forward to your log, you got this. I heard a pastor talking today and he was saying all men should have that one thing for themselves as a father and a husband. May it be fishing, hunting, or golf. You can't have two with a family because your family time will suffer. For us it's bodybuilding. Do your one thing for yourself you need it. As you continue to take it serious your family will see this and know how much it means to you that your getting up at 4 am to make it happen and not take away time away from them they will become more supportive. Evo family here to support you.
