New member that was just looking for some a little step in the right direction. Working out and doing the normal routine has never been an issue for me. But i am 43 and i have an urge to just up the game a little bit. I'm not on anything wild. Just TRT atm. basic NAD+, some oral vitamins, creatine. and some other simple stuff. I guess the question i have is fairly simple. While i know it's different for everyone and people respond to things in different ways. What is a protocol that can be recommended for someone that's going to be going past dipping his toes in and maybe getting knee deep? I was thinking of a mass building peptide or some sort of oral to add with a few things? I'm not trying to be an absolute monster, but im not not trying to look like an absolute jacked monster either. im open and willing to listen to some good options. Thank you in advance!

Both patently untrue. Most users of meds MUST by definition fall within a common range. By way of example 80% of gym goes respond well to 8-12 reps. The same applies to, again as an example, most users of an anti-inflammatory only needing 200mg of Advil etc.

Arguably we're unique overall but in anatomy very rarely. It's muddied somewhat by what we all personally we want in the gym. Very few here train the same for that reason vs how we respond etc

welcome to the EVO family :D @zerogravity239 Before talking add ons you need to start a proper TRT log because we don’t know your TRT dose, pin schedule, bloods, bodyweight trend, diet, sleep, or how you’re training right now.
Get the log up first with weekly dose, labs, ED food and bodyweight, training loads, sleep and BP so the EVO family can actually point you in the right direction instead of guessing what this should look like for you. 15min of your time to start :D

HOW-TO LOG?

Why is a Log Journal important?

  • Doing a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
  • Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
  • The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
  • Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you:
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight,height,age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
  • Please post a Log Journal asap for us

Once you start with anabolic steroids and you're opening up a can of worms, there really isn't anything else that compares, especially the way they affect your reproductive system. So it's a good decision to make, and if you're ready for it, then go for it.

Do you want to start with anabolic steroids or do you want to start with SARMs or do you want to start with peptides? That's really the thing that you have to decide.

You've been on TRT already. So you're not a newbie to this. You know how steroids already work.

Bros, if you're using TRT, let's say 150mg a week, then it would be logical that you either add an oral to that as a cycle or maybe increase the amount of testosterone you're doing.

You can go with something simple like 300 mg a week of testosterone and anavar with it.

Welcome brother!!

I can see you need some guidance and are open to some feedback. I think it's great that at 43 you're looking to start into the world of cycling. I think going slow will be your best bet to start. TRT, TRT+ and then beyond that is a bodybuilding type 'blast' cycle.

Something along the lines of a conservative TRT+ would be a good start but in terms of compounds and dosing we'd need you to start a log so we can guide and coach you along knowing much more about you.

Take a look at @LevButlerov's how-to-log guide and his list of suggested logs to use a template. My 2026 log is also in my signature just give it a click if you want to take peak and just go to the last page for my most recent update.

Here's some feedback for now to get you started (below). I hope you fire up a log for us bro and I'd look forward to following it. I too am late 40's turning 50 this year so I know exactly where you're at mentally in wanting to give this a go now. My early 40's is when I started really stepping up the cycles.

No such thing - there's more to it than this.

These are the last thing you should add in and start with Testosterone and possibly another oil-based compound to compliment. If you really need an oral then Anavar is best at this point but we'd need bloodwork first.
