DELOAD



we have entered a hard deload, 5 days off the gym completely only cardio sessions will be done. Body and mind was just starting to wear down and we called it early to be safe then sorry. We didn’t want any unnecessary injuries or issues coming into prep and I think it was time for a deload. Body work is going to be done x 2 this week to really get the body loose and fresh ready to get back into the gym next Monday at 90%. Gear may be dropping to a 300mg total this week will update on Friday, all health markers are looking good and BW is at 103 constant now.

T - 2 days left of hard deload, currently hitting my first cardio session of the deload 15 mins @ 130-150 BPM



Feeling really good also sleeping like 9-10 hours a day and resting majority of the days besides work. Really looking forward to being back in the gym.



Diet is staying on my NTD diet for the rest of the of the week until we back in the gym. Have checkins with coach today assuming we will be dropping gear to 300mg total. I will update on changes tomorrow as I find out tonight. One more push for 6 ish weeks then deload into prep so super excited for this. Weight is currently at 103 avg which Is awesome as we aimed for 103 at end of this push we should end around 104/5. And pull back to high 80’s or very low 90’s with extreme conditioning.

Sorry for the lack of log content deload has been extended to complete a full week of no gym, body and mind is feeling super refreshed and I’m just keen to get back into training. 3 x 15 min cardio sessions a week continue and have been completed already this week. Weight is sitting at 104.35 this am fasted. Feeling really good and just excited to be back training for our final push into prep.
Deload doesn't mean no gym, deload usually means cardio and core work minimum.

Coming back to trianing we were aiming to do 90% weight and about 2-3 RIR, the session was moving pretty well but I managed to flare up my left knee (opposite to last time), I got body work done today and kept heat on the area. Does not feel great but it’s nowhere near as bad as last time. Not a great start to trianing block, we have checkins today will update on what coach’s orders are.

90% is a good come back :D but careful with the knee, you try BPC into the knee? @Bakery112

Also I literally said 3 x cardio session that week.
I would do cardio ED on deload, just less.

We normally do 60% of all exercises 1 set of each, I needed a complete break from the gym mentally and physically. This wasn’t my call and I trust my coach 100%.
Sure, you should listen to your coach, but have some of your own input, its your own body after all.

@Bakery112 Looking solid on this update as well. Lower body training, looks fantastic.
