My brother and the sis-in-laws dad within a week or so. But this was last year. The issue is all the damn stuff like only getting the proper death certificate last fkin week. And the decision (apparently) of my mum to give ALL her agreed share to my sis-in-law. It's on me to sort

As Stevemi knows I live in the valleys so a LOT of the infrastructure is overhead cable not buried in the street like most cities.

London is where I was born and raised. I left in 2005 to go to Gloucester where we had the supplement business and strongman gym. That wound up in 2011 and I moved here to South Wales in 2012.

I live in a 4800sq ft former social club. It's in a broad valley with 50,000 people locally (good sized town and a bunch of smaller ones near by adding up to that figure). Wales as a whole is only 2,500,000 total. London on it's own was 7-8,000,000

I thought London was all city like people live in buildings and apartments I'm confused now

Thanks but my dads been dead years. It was the sis-in-laws dad. And just a week or so after my brother passed (anniversary of that was last week). So it's been a year or so all in

to 18p (eqv to 108kg/237lbs a poss PB??) x 4 reps

to 107.5kg/236lbs x 5 reps

You crush it every time you show up!!!
Oh it was HEAVY lol. Not an issue for most but once it gets close to bodyweight the load starts to pull you out of the seat etc. An example was then what might be a PB on Tricep Pressdowns on a lat machine. Anything close to 100kg/220lbs or more and it feels like you're being pulled off the floor. So I end up with a dipping belt and an additional 15kg/33lbs added to keep me anchored. Even the alt week heavy dumbbell hammer curls @200lbs pulls you about. I hold onto a nearby machine to oppose that. I wanna work the arm and my core etc only a little.

Even the bench press I do with a specific bar. I know of top level (700lbs+) who have gone so far as to buy there own pads for the bench.

Strongman problems lol

Head up ass. Half the night and a late start on a possible issue with my late brothers estate and distribution of fund at some point (like who gets what... that old thing). I'm the executor.

to stack+10g x 6 reps (testing 'fix' on the machine)
Sorry for your loss mobster. Dealing with all that headache that comes with being executor is a lot of stress o. You and family! Good thing you got the gym! Dude you’re stronger than an Ox!! 💪
 
I might treat myself a little. I've some roof work that needs doing. We still have to scatter my brothers ashes which will be on me to sort too.
Did he let you know where he wants to be spread? You should have a little kilo weight plate made with some of his ashes! I think that be cool! Hang it on Your wall like a framed record. I’m sentimental.
 
RoidRage does more volume on the Iso Rows but I think I got him on the 308lbs/140kg max weight ;)
@Mobster You’re correct…. but only because he can’t fit anymore plates on the equipment. 6 plates is all that fits and we have to use bands on it to hold it lol! I’m willing to say he could rep 308 if he had opportunity. 💪😄😉

I had to use 4 x 25kg and 2 x 20kg plates and bands too. Same issue - 6 plates max. I could get 6 x 25kg at some point. I had a buddy help with a hand on them just in case.

Not at the`moment. I'm only using, up to today, MK677 (from EP). I neither bridge, cruise nor TRT and usually state when I'm on cycle

I have, of course, ran Para Pharma product in the past and both rate and recommend it

From today I'll be running 20mg a day of RAD140 (again EP)
para pharma gear is paying off nice to see!

I've been on stage. EFBB South Coast when Gordon Allen used to promote it. My supps company had a stand there too

But only doing strength stuff lol. I also used to judge a strength challenge at that event as well. Press for reps with a Victorian dumbbell which I now own.

But me in a posing brief... no. Happy to hand out a trophy etc

It might be as interesting to see you do a strength event

Nope. While I am 'strong' in the normal scheme of things I'm not a TV style 'strongman'. To be even in with a chance I'd need to be at my all time best on press (130kg/286lbs) for reps when my best was a single. TV level stuff is now up around 200kg/440lbs on a log. In most gyms a nice number is over 100lbs/45kg and a respectable number is 200lbs/91kg for a single. I'd like to get back my my rep target of 120kg/264lbs
 
Further to my reply to Monstro: my background in our game started as a bodybuilder. I am still a fan of that aspect of the IronGame. 90% of my PC library is bodybuilding related. When I had my magazine I got free tickets and press passes to Bodybuilding events and would do write ups etc on those competitions

The perception of me not using sarms is wrong. As I say above (and have mentioned in my log and on several podcasts) I've used MK677 for months. My buddy RAVED about RAD140 so I had to give it a try. Truth is I tend to stick with what I KNOW works for me. No need to change just cos or because I wanna 'try' X or Y etc etc

To 340kg/748lbs x 2 (PB). I could have done 3 and it moved around etc. I nearly put the 365kg/803lbs I want on and did that too

Again PED are 20mg a day MK677 for months and I'm running (as of last Friday) RAD140 at 20mg a day from EuroPharmacies

Close Grip Bench Press
to 140kg x 1 ugly rep (don't know why) then 170kg/352lbs x 2, 3 and 3 reps (two sets of 3 might be a PB). 180kg x 1 rep just cos (easy)

One Arm Dumbbell Row
to 90kg/198lbs x 10 reps

60-mm MiraFit R/Handle
to set up +
LH: 83.75kg x 3 x 3 reps (last 2 sets on point)
RH: 86.25kg x 3 x 3 reps (all solid)

Bwt: 317lbs
