Var - 50mg/day pre workout

HGH- 5iu /day. 5 on 2 off

Cialis- 5mg/day

Telmisartan- 20mg/day

All dosages pending bloodwork. Primarily estrogen. I aromatise heavily, even on trt 175mg/week my e2 sits top of range.

Eq dose will be adjusted as per bloodwork but hoping to push it to 600mg and keep it there.

I like to structure my cycles with incremental titrations. This works in two ways for me in minimising sides and hitting receptors.

Bloods will be pulled about week 5 and again at week 10.

Cycle Goals:

Gain as much lean muscle tissue as possible before dropping back to cruise/health phase then cut into summer. Get into the best shape I can at 47.

Previous cycle:

14 weeks-Worked up to 800 test e/ 650 mast e

2iu gh/day

September to current:
Trt @ 175mg/ week since September last year till now.

Cycle history:

Cycled and competed over several years in my 30’s before injury/surgeries. Took a break from bodybuilding from 37 where I pursued bjj.

Back at it now for about 12 months.

Training:

Mon: Bi’s and tri’s

Tue: Legs

Wed: Rest

Thu: Rest

Fri: Chest/shoulders

Sat: Back

Sun: Rest

Every 2nd week, back will be switched out for a 2nd leg workout. Legs being the priority and back just grows like a weed.

Training intensity will ramp as the cycle progresses. Incorporating drop sets, supersets, rest pause.

All working sets taken close to failure or beyond as the cycle goes on.

Looks good brother, hows your e2 at those ratios? Get some physique photos up with your face blurred legend so we can approve you log. Will be following 👊🏽

Great start to the log. Good to see @Buck Pharmaceuticals has put on another logger.

With bloods I would go 6 and 12 mainly because of the eq

14 weeks-Worked up to 800 test e/ 650 mast e
What was your e2 like on this as well? Because in myself mast has no effect on my e2

Also you need you upload some body shots so we can see the transformation bro 💪

@LevButlerov
Thanks for following brother! Its been 10 years since my last run of Eq but from memory it was 750 test:500 Eq and E2 was 45 pmol.
I'll be monitoring it closely and adjust or potentially drop eq if needed.
I'll get some fresh pics posted up tonight.

Hey brother, thanks for the question. I was hoping mast would lower my e2 but it did nothing for me also. Since I aromatise pretty heavy I figure this trial with eq will do the job, just don't want it to do it too well if you know what I mean. Hence I will monitor with bloods closely.

Ahh gotchya. 45pmol is almost tanked brother lol, howd you feel at that time?

Definitely worth getting lcms e2 blood work when eq is in if your dont already do that but my 2c is we really should look and getting e2 at a maximum tolerable level without sides to maximise your ifg1 potential from your gh. Plus all the protective benifits e2 gives us.

Keen for the photos and to follow your journey brother 🙏

Appreciate the input bro. Had some anxiety at 45pmol but I've 'accidently' tanked e2 in the past with ai and it was no where near that intolerable.
This is one of the reasons for wanting to run bloodwork sooner rather than later, I Know eq takes time to build up in the system but really want to monitor e2 closely and adjust accordingly. Would rather push the primo and lower eq. And like you said bring the eq up slower in ratio to the test so as to keep e2 in range.

Upon waking half hr before meal 1:
10g glutamine
10g Metamucil
20ml lemon juice
250ml water

Sauerkraut throughout the day with meals.
All other supps listed in first post.

Today was back day. Kinda miss the days of being able to do pull ups with a cpl plates hanging from my waste. Thinking about that was getting me pumped to get this cycle rolling.
Heres a breakdown of todays session.

Hammer strength single arm horizontal rows:
Warm up sets:
40kg x 20
80kg x 16
120kg x 14
Working sets:
160kg x 12
160kg x 10

Single arm db rows
50kg x 12 reps
50 kg x 11 reps

Wide grip chins
12 x reps
10 x reps
9 x reps

Close grip chins
10 x reps
8 x reps
8 x reps

Close grip cable rows
80kg x 12
80kg x 10
70kg x 12

After a few warm up sets I like to do 2 working sets for each compound movement to failure. Usually 8-10 reps
Then moving on to cables where I push the reps out to 12-14 usually focusing on tempo, stretch and contraction. Pausing on the stretch and squeezing in the contraction while keeping the target muscles activated right through a full range of motion.

160kg x 10

Single arm db rows
50kg x 12 reps
50 kg x 11 reps

Wide grip chins
12 x reps
10 x reps
9 x reps

Close grip chins
10 x reps
8 x reps
8 x reps

Close grip cable rows
80kg x 12
80kg x 10
70kg x 12

After a few warm up sets I like to do 2 working sets for each compound movement to failure. Usually 8-10 reps
Then moving on to cables where I push the reps out to 12-14 usually focusing on tempo, stretch and contraction. Pausing on the stretch and squeezing in the contraction while keeping the target muscles activated right through a full range of motion.
I like the wide grip chins and I like the close grip chins. @NeverSatisfied nice job mixing those up. You can just do that for a workout and have a great workout.

Today was back day. Kinda miss the days of being able to do pull ups with a cpl plates hanging from my waste. Thinking about that was getting me pumped to get this cycle rolling.
Heres a breakdown of todays session.

Hammer strength single arm horizontal rows:
Warm up sets:
40kg x 20
80kg x 16
120kg x 14
Working sets:
160kg x 12
160kg x 10

Single arm db rows
50kg x 12 reps
50 kg x 11 reps

Wide grip chins
12 x reps
10 x reps
9 x reps

Close grip chins
10 x reps
8 x reps
8 x reps

Close grip cable rows
80kg x 12
80kg x 10
70kg x 12

After a few warm up sets I like to do 2 working sets for each compound movement to failure. Usually 8-10 reps
Then moving on to cables where I push the reps out to 12-14 usually focusing on tempo, stretch and contraction. Pausing on the stretch and squeezing in the contraction while keeping the target muscles activated right through a full range of motion.
That's good that you're taking some time to warm up. A lot of people don't even bother with that, and I like that you're doing two working sets for each compound move. Move it to failure; eight to ten reps is perfect. @NeverSatisfied

Bros, this is a good start to this long 20% body fat. That's the first order of business: we need to get that lower and get you more tight. @NeverSatisfied

@NeverSatisfied you look fantastic in these pictures. This is a great start to this log. I think you have room to definitely cut down more. I want to see those abs popping.
@NeverSatisfied this will be an amazing log. You've got a boatload of gear there ready to put to use.

Thank you all. Appreciate the support. I am always open to critique and suggestions. If there is anything you feel I could be doing better then by all means don’t hesitate to share it with me.
I will be doing my best to keep everyone updated on all things.
Training is going well. I am limited to some degree in certain exercises due to injury.
I have a bulged disc at my L5/s1 from July last year that impinges the sciatic nerve. Though it has very slowly recovered with the most help coming via peptides ( running Klow for the past 4 months) I am awaiting nerve ablation therapy on the 22nd April. Hopefully once the nerve is burnt out I will be able to squat again. At present I’m am limited to belt squats as they don’t aggravate it via spinal compression.
I also have had my right wrist fused in 2016. I’m unable to bend my wrist at all. So I am limited some what to machines, hammer strength etc for pressing movements. Slowly adding in dips again as my thumb gets strong enough to take the load.

Have a blessed Sunday all

Throwing up my leg sesh from yesterday. Working on bringing them back after I completely lost them post injury.
I’m splitting legs into 2 sessions per week now quads and glute/hams. Keeping intensity high and focus is on feeling what I’m working over just moving the weight from A to B.

Nice setup 💪

GLUTES/HAMS

10 min step machine to warm up the knees as they've been bothering me lately. Nothing serious just pain above the patella on both knee's that coincides with training them heavy.

Tri-sets
Adductor machine - 67kg - 12reps
Lying leg curls - 65Kg - 12reps
Hip thrusts - 80kg - 12 reps

4 sets of this tri-set pyramiding up in weight and reps. Focus on contraction and controlling the neg portion of the rep.

Belt squats
120kg x 14
160 x 14
160 x 12

Single leg - leg press machine
Foot placement high
105Kg x 12
105kg x 13

Isolateral Kneeling leg curl
20kg x 16
20kg x 16
20kg x 14
rep tempo 1:1:4:1

Post legs recovery session - 3 round of the below
Sauna 15 min
cold plunge 3 min
warm pool 3 min

Not sure what everyone's thoughts are around icebaths post workout but I feel like it's great for inflammation. Growth wise I'm not too sure. You def lose that pump pretty quick but it helped my knees massively yesterday.

I haven't really heard of people using Test, EQ and Primo since EQ/Primo are often known to be interchangeable. People usually use mast/npp in addition to Test and EQ.

Not sure what everyone's thoughts are around icebaths post workout but I feel like it's great for inflammation. Growth wise I'm not too sure. You def lose that pump pretty quick but it helped my knees massively yesterday.
Nice workout mate. I like the idea of that tri-set at the start. Looks like big weight on the belt squats.

Have you tried foam rolling and mobility work to help with the knees?

Always with the sauna brother. Tbh I prob wouldn’t worry about the cold plunge if I didn’t have the sauna first. You’re spot on though they do combine nicely together.
sauna and cold plunge is the best :D

10 days now pinning @Buck Pharmaceuticals test e, primo and eq daily. Everything feels how it should, hunger, libido, strength, weight all going up. Zero pip on injection. Will follow up with bloods at 4 weeks as I want to bump the eq up but with wait to see how my e2 sitting at this ratio.

good training :D pumping weight 104 is a win

Arms session from today and weigh in. Short and sweet. Scales going up. Weights moving well, feeling stronger every week. Started to experience some joint pain, mostly in the knees. I’m not sure whether it’s the joints drying out as E2 comes down or if it’s collateral damage from heavy training and being old as fuck but I’ll get bloodwork drawn in the next 2 weeks to see where we sit.
Currently at week 3 of cycle:
Test e 600mg
Primo 400mg
Eq 300mg

Nice arm workout mate.

The combination of your Primo and EQ dose is pretty high relative to T. I'd be surprised if your E2 wasn't low. Are you a high aromitiser?

Thanks for the support and motivation fella's. Muscle memory is wonderful thing. After several years away from bodybuilding, it just goes to show that when you decide to flick the switch and lock in, it all comes back pretty quick. Hopefully I can motivate others that have been away from the game to come back to the iron.
