I thought about closing out my last 6 weeks with tren but decided against it. I figured 7 weeks at the beginning of the cycle was good enough. I will most likely use it again later next summer when I am getting ready to compete on the platform.

Had a good squat session today. I think its all mental with me and squats. I have to figure out how to get this mental block out of my head. I went up 20lbs from last week and did sets of 3 for the first two and then ended up with 7 reps on my 3rd set. This tells me I am mentally holding back inside. Also tried out the glute kickback machine today. Will most likely do it every squat day from now on. Need to do the support muscles as they have been neglected over the years. Ok everyone have a good week and Happy Thanksgiving. Will be back in the gym on Friday for Chest/Tri's.

Went in for a late afternoon session today since we had to take ferry back across the sound from our daughters place. Not the normal amount of energy. Didnt eat too much and even skipped dessert yesterday after eating prime rib. Slept for just over 10 hours after dinner last night. Strength is still picking up while eating on average of 2000 cals per day. Waist is still getting tighter. Planning to do 305 for sets of 7 next week on incline as I dont see any reason why my strength will fall at this point. Just finished 4 weeks on Tbol and Anavar. Have another 4 weeks to go at 40mg of each per day. Not changing a damn thing. When things are working keep it the same until it doesn't. Ok everyone have a nice weekend and get Strong AF!!!

Yes definitely dry. A little crampy in the pecs. I'm getting ready to make my final 4'week push to drop a bunch of weight. Will be lowerkng volume on every exercise so to not damage anything as I increase weights on the big three lifts. Basically tapering to peak all three lifts by years end. I find this the easiest on my joints and tendons. It's always volume that kills me. I love tapering anyway. Will also get my ass back into morning fasted cardio for this final push. I want to get as close to 225 as possible.

with anavar mainly but also tbol, you need extra taurine and electrolytes, I'd suggest boosting both man :) @RoidRage69

I think I will go one more hard week before deloading followed by a heavy week with low volume tapering so I can max out the week after. I should lose a bunch of weight in the process as muscle/excess water weight will drop during the taper. As long as I am stronger I don't give a shit. I will have plenty of time to slowly put the muscle back on with IGF in the fridge. Ok everyone have a great week ahead and get strong AF!!!

I also wanted to point out that every single set I did in the gym is listed including the 4 warmup sets for deadlifts. I have a belief that once your main exercise is warmed up there is no reason to waste sets going forward unless its a completely different muscle group that didnt get any blood flow in the first exercise.

Deload is a weird thing i always feel weird coming back after a deload everything just feels off for a bit before going back to normal.

Today was the start of a taper that will last 3 weeks. Going to try and max out at as close to 365 on the incline bench as possible by years end. Cut all tricep work out today and will only do a couple tricep exercises on arm day if at all. Might even skip arm/delt day until after the year to help the taper. If not we might just go really light and deload on those days just to keep blood pumping and recovering from everything else. I felt so strong on my pec/dec fly machine today. Able to do the stack with perfect form with nice long stretch and hold on top and bottom. Felt explosive. Probably not going to do them next week and help the taper even more.

Also went to a powerlifting meet this weekend. Man all I could think of is I want to get on that platform and compete and see how far I can go. I really want to break those records. I would have a fun time going up against the 20 year old crowd. Would be fun to smoke em!!! Planning on possibly looking for a powerlifting meet in Mid May which would be about 12 weeks into my next cycle. Most likely going to be a Test/Primo cycle as I dont want to gain any muscle mass. I need to be able to stay under 220 lbs for the competition so I will have to do a water cut to make weight when I do it. Ok everyone have a nice strong week ahead and get Strong AF!!!

Dips are a great way to build overall, strength, and size.

I would skip the bench for 1 day if your shoulder hurts, give it a bit of time to rest :)

Warm ups are very important very under-rated and people just don’t do them. Best to get into a habit of warming up the muscles at a young age, not just by walking biking but moving lighter weights for the muscle group you train and stretching good it’s not matter if if u injure, it’s when…. You get older gotta slow down a bit more your risk gets higher. The heavier weights u lift if the body ain’t ready….. dat dat da..🎶the body breaks. Do your warm ups and stretches peeps!! 💪🌸

Amen to that i always tell anyone who asks for my advice in lifting to make sure to warm up properly. Recently I’ve been warming up in double layers to break a proper sweat before any lift been so helpful!

Could have done more but I want to see how high I can get by the years end so I have 2 more sessions left to peak to the fullest. Feels good to have zero shoulder pain today. Took a meloxicam last night and it completely took care of the inflammation. I can imagine my body will probably start twitching from all the energy being stored up from tapering so much. Feels good on the body. Almost like a deload but better as peaking for heavy lifts is alot more fun. I will be back on Friday for possibly attempting 635 on my conventional deadlift. I will at least attempt to do it. If I fail I will most likely hit it the following week as my body will at least know what the weight feels like. Ok everyone have a good finish to the week.

Feels good on the body. Almost like a deload but better as peaking for heavy lifts is alot more fun. I will be back on Friday for possibly attempting 635 on my conventional deadlift. I will at least attempt to do it. If I fail I will most likely hit it the following week as my body will at least know what the weight feels like. Ok everyone have a good finish to the week.

I've always found it amazing when strength athletes managed to stay healthy.
Seems like pounding your body that much is going to catch up to you.

Too many big dudes don't do their cardio for some reason.

Another day of peaking and hitting another all time best on my incline bench. Went up to 350 for a single. Could have done more but I want to see how high I can get by the years end so I have 2 more sessions left to peak to the fullest. Feels good to have zero shoulder pain today. Took a meloxicam last night and it completely took care of the inflammation. I can imagine my body will probably start twitching from all the energy being stored up from tapering so much. Probably could have done another set with 475 but decided to stop short. Playing it safe. I have been lifting so heavy on my bench and deadlift I can take it easier on squats. Will concentrate on squats with my next strength building phase which starts in about a week. Will do squats and deadlifts twice a week on the same days. Ok everyone have a nice holidays. Will be back tomorrow for a possible attempt at 365 on the incline bench. Its my 55th birthday so I have to at least try it.
