Approved Log The Comeback - from torn bicep surgery recovery Log

Smidday

V.I.P.
EVO Logger
Hey guys,

Just thought I’d make a new log to document the healing process and the comeback after tearing my bicep tendon off the bone.

Currently almost 4 weeks post injury and 5 days post surgery. Pain is starting get better but movement is very limited. I’ll be in a sling for 6 weeks then I can start learning to use the arm/ bicep again.

As for supps-
Weekly- 250mg test e, 100mg mast e (Maintenance levels)

Once I’m two weeks post surgery I’ve been given the all clear to start BPC 157 and TB500, I will be running HGH alongside these. Dosages will be in a later log update!

Extremely thankful to @Gold Standard Labs @Gold Standard Peptides for continuing to sponsor me through this period!! Absolute legends🤝🏻 Also thankyou to @rustle for the GSL vial box! Extremely convenient storage!

Training is very limited at the moment, just doing some single arm dumbbell workouts at home and a lot of cardio on the treadmill. Once I’m cleared to drive again I’ll be back to somewhat consistent training!

Any questions, drop them below and I’ll do my best to answer them!

Really happy to see a recovery log go up for you @Smidday and congrats on continuing the sponsorship with @Gold Standard Labs. The @Gold Standard Peptides BPC and TB will be a huge win to have on board for this too.

Keep us posted on your dosages and how you're feeling, I'll be following. In the mean time great work just getting the cardio and dumbbell workouts in when you're able.

Hope the recovery is going well mate!

How long until you can say train legs for example (or any training that is all out and doesn't affect the injury)?

Thanks @waggat 💪🏻

Actually just got home from training legs! Haha it was the first actual gym session in about 4 weeks so was a lightish leg session.
I can pretty much train everything apart from the right upper side but I can’t drive until I’m out the sling which is a pain in the ass ahah.
Will just be trying to get lifts to the gym as much as I can!

You legs are going to get huge. What I did in my recovery. Trained one sided and trained legs every 3 days

Training everything bar the right upper side 4 weeks post-op is a solid position mate, the drive-to-gym mission is the only real bottleneck while the bicep knits up 💪

@Smidday Leg training is the best. What makes it the best is that after you get it done, you're glad that it won't be another three or four days before you have to hit it again, ha ha.

Quick update-

Peptides and HGH have been added in from Today.
The new stack is-
Weekly- 250mg test e, 100mg mast e, 2mg TB500
Daily- 500mcg BPC157, 5ius HGH
All supplied from @Gold Standard Labs & @Gold Standard Peptides 🙏🏻🤝🏻

12 days post surgery, pain is starting to get a little better. Range of motion is still extremely limited and can not flex the bicep at all.

Small dumbbell workout last night.
• Single arm bent over rows
• 1 dumbbell rdls
• Bicep curls
• Lateral raises
• Dumbbell skullcrushers
• Lying chest flies

Bit of a mish mash of exercises but making the most of what I can do with limited equipment and mobility. Missing normal training like crazy but the comeback will be epic!

Sitting around 109kgs morning weight.

Leg session tonight-
• Machine adductors
• Leg extension
• Machine leg press
• Seated hamstring curl machine
• Standing calf raise machine

All exercises had 1-2 warm up sets and 3-4 working sets. All exercises I could manage to adjust with the one hand haha

Nothing too crazy but doing what I can do under the circumstances.

Hearing a lot about @Gold Standard Labs superdrol at the moment. Might have to try some for myself when I’m back to normal training 🤔

Apart from test, what is your guys favourite compound??

This is definitely one of my favorite leg workouts. Good job. You start by working the different parts of the leg and finish out with your lower legs as well. @Smidday

@Smidday nice job. 109 kg is some heavy-duty size. I like how you are doing one to two warm-up sets and then three to four working sets that's smart.

@Smidday Legs are looking huge and brolic!

Big leg session today. Had the missus come in and help me rack/ unrack plates which was amazing!

Recovery has been going okay with the torn bicep. Started physio work this week and learning how to straighten the arm again. A very weird feeling as I can feel the tendon still pulling and it feels extremely tight. Hopefully just one more week in a sling then I can drive again and get some more regular training in!

Current stack-
Weekly- 250mg test e, 100mg mast e, 2mg TB500
Daily- 5ius HGH, 500mcg BPC157

All thanks to @Gold Standard Labs and @Gold Standard Peptides making this recovery such much easier for myself and continuing to support me through this process!

Little physique update. Around 113kgs fasted weight.
3300 cals
4L of water daily

Very fluffy but still abit of a physique holding on after 9 weeks of no proper training.

Hopefully last couple of days of wearing the sling then I can get back to regular leg training and slowly incorporate a little upper body training.

Still running a cruise dose of -

Weekly: 250mg test e, 100mg mast e, 2mg TB500
Daily: 5IUS HGH, 500mcg BPC157

@Gold Standard Labs @Gold Standard Peptides

Very keen to get back into and get this physique tidied up.

BW- 113.2kgs

Will be back to abit more regular logging now that I have been given the all clear to drive and I’m finally out of the sling!!

The plan is to train 3 times a week-
Monday- Legs (quad focused)
Wednesday- Upper body ( Left side)
Friday- Legs (Hamstring focused)

Still no lifting anything with my right side so the upper body session will be reasonably light and more focused on pump and to keep the muscle mass.

Will be doing 20mins of fasted cardio daily.

Today’s leg session-
Adductors- 3 sets 15 reps 67.5kgs
Leg extensions- 3 sets 12-15 reps 83kgs
Pendulum squats- 3 sets 10 reps 2 plates per side
Seated hamstring curls- 3 sets 10-12 reps (plate loaded) 2 plates

Not crazy weights but it was a solid bench mark for a first official session back!

Shoutout to the @Gold Standard Labs and @Gold Standard Peptides for all the support during this setback in my journey. I promise the comeback will be epic💪🏻
