Approved Log TRT & HGH at 71 years old Log

spike

V.I.P.
EVO Logger
This log is not so much about trt and hgh that has been done plenty of times before,
it's more about what it will do to my 71-year-old body.
My stats and workout regime were in the last log on peptides so i won't bore you with that again.
My plan is to pick up were i left off from peptides 5 weeks ago although after finishing peptide cycle
i had to cut back to only 1 set per exercise same reps same weight because i just wasn't recovering
quick enough.
I've bought enough gear for 6 months, so, week 1 will be just 1 set to warm up again.
The plan it to see if HGH will give me the same progress or better than peptides.
Still waiting on delivery of ghg so hopefully next week will start.

@spike Thanks for sharing with the EVO family :D
I closely watched your other log, will be watching this too.

Please share more training and food as you go.
Looking to see your HGH and testosterone plan.

whats your final TRT approach that you chose?

Yes HGH will do wonders for your recovery. 1.5 iu is where I would start at your age. See how you feel for a couple weeks and then bump to 2iu per day.
I will probably start at 1iu just to see what the effect is if any.

1 IU is good, with around 100-150mgs of testosterone, 100mgs to start and see how you feel.

Ok, so i have 400mg of test e and 200iu of gh, when it arrives, my plan is to keep it easy to calc
so, for the first week I'll use 50mgs of test e that's .125ml x 2 per week Monday Thursday and 1 IU gh per day,
then maybe week 2, 133mgs of test e that's .165 ml X 2 per week and same 1 IU and see how i feel.
That's the best way i can calculate it. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

This is correct move up a bit every week, pyramids work.

Ok finally got my ducks in order, had a bit of an issue with delivery.
Will say test from R&D was very quick with my order.
First vile of gh i diluted was not vacuum sealed so through that one out,
powder was more of a white tablet then power, not from R&D.
Will be starting cycle on 1st January.
Startup will be 60mg x 2 test Monday morning and Thursday night.
1 iu gh per night 7pm.
To be sure the results are accurate all weights, reps, sets and diet will
be the same as previous until needed to change.
Only sets will be 1 this week and start back on 3 next week.
By the way i am 72 now.

waiting for you to push bro ;) lets get the training and diet up too

Sorry it's taken so long to get back on this log, but I've been waiting for something positive to report.
Unfortunately, so far there's none.
It's been 32 days now and my fique level has gone through the roof and my ankles are swelling up have a lot of
water retention. I have gained about 4kg in this time and that must be water because i have noticed that
i have lost some body fat, about 2kg.
Maybe at age 72 my body can't cope with hgh, but i will stick it out for another month an see what happens.
Not sure what to do from here.
If you have any advice that would be good.
Cheers.

@spike if you're having such bad sides I would stop the HGH right now bro asap
can we talk about your diet and training and full TRT you doing besides hgh? no updates in a while so im not sure

@AE1079 @Pigsy please comment on this hgh use @RoidRage69 @s.gentz @Noah Wixx

That water retention can chsse a big spike in blood pressure among otjer negative health effects, i would drop the hgh out completely or lower the dose possibly.

Well, my diet hasn't changed, it's not a diet as such it's just how i always eat,
protein veg salad fruit not usually any junk food, if i have that once then that's it for a while.
For the first 3 weeks my stomach objected to 1iu gh big time but that has settled down now.
Workout hasn't changed, weight, reps, sets the same have no urge to up weights yet although
lately i have noticed a small amount of extra strength not enough to up weights though.
My biggest strength gain was 3 weeks after using peps, maybe that was all i had left.
Weight is measured in the morning was 82kg up to 86.5 now down to 85kg after 33 days.
I'm using 80mg test x2 week Monday morning and Thursday night 1 iu gh nightly.
Probably have a small change when looking in mirror not much though but that's hard
for me to tell.
My biggest fear is if i stop i will end up like most others in my area, with big pot bellies
and i don't want that so i would rather cut back then stop, what do you think?.
And if you know of any gear that will combat fique, i would be pleased to know about.
Cheers.

@spike its hard to tell when you sayd "protein veg salad" those can mean so many things. At your age, a little can meat a lot, do you follow?
We really badly need to see you track macros, can you use a food app to track your food please? we can help you in the EVO family but we need to know more.

Cut down your dose and lower sodium intake. Since you won't log your daily food or anything we are just guessing. It's kinda your fault for starting a log and then disappearing and then coming back when things do t go your way. Why did u keep everyone in the dark about all this?

If you read the begging of this log you would have read that all my stats are in the previous log so i though there was no need to repeat it, also i stated that this log is not about me but what trt and gh does to my body at age 72 be it positive or negative, nothing had changed in the first 4 weeks so no one is in the dark. If this is not good enough i can always stop this log.

@spike just so you understand @RoidRage69 was just trying to help you bro
we all are trying to help, we are the EVO family here ;)
but we see so many logs and pages easy to get lost you follow? like i see 100s of logs per day
if you changed nothing in your diet thats a small issue, i would suggest making mods for health

Yeh well i didn't find any of his last comments helpful.
Any how moving on, the swelling of my ankles that i thought was water retention started at week 4 it's now back to normal and weight has dropped slightly so must have been some outside influence, back on track now.
So, i have lost some body fat and put on about 2kg so this can only be muscle although i can't it in the mirror yet.
I will try to cut and paste previous diet and workout from last log.
It looks like trt and gh are having some effect maybe just slower at my age.

Breakfast on colder months- 9am
I cook up a batch of potato, pumpkin, broch, colly, carrot, peas & corn, eggs,
sweet potato, onion and any other veg I can find in the fridge i don't mash it
just squash it up, enough for 4 days and have that on 2 toasts with Coffey.
Hotter days usually just muesli toast and coffee.

Lunch-1pm
Usually whole meal rap with some sort of meat and salad with coffee.

Dinner-5pm
Steak chicken or fish with veg or salad or pasta or rice decaf coffee.

Snacks
Nuts sultanas fruit.
i do like my chocolate unfortunately.
@Npcclassicphysique champ @LevButlerov
Had a quick search through his previous log, this was the only nutrition Information that’s been posted, if this helps.

@spike brother your diet is still relatively close to this?

Yes @Allupfromhere and thats the issue bro

Dinner-5pm
Steak chicken or fish with veg or salad or pasta or rice decaf coffee.
you get pasta and steak is a different meal right? so like for use hard to understand the game

Thanks for finding that for me.
Cheers.

yes, it is on a spread sheet.
I'm not very good at computers that why it takes me so long to get back to you.

If you click on the previous attachment it will shrink it to a readable state.
its ok, if you open worksheet, click SELECT ALL and click COPY and then go into your post then click PAST should work
can you try that bro?

I did that and it worked perfect and fitted on page as i wanted it to.
Only when i clicked on post reply it went all jumbled up.
Thats ok i have another plan.
you can copy and paste into notepad on computer and past it here bro
did you try that?

I did try notepad as well but i don't think the format I am using is any good for copying and pasting.
Anyhow this is what i will do, i have listed these four exercises and if there is any change using GH
i can adjust the changes here accordingly.
I don't think you need to know changes in all exercises just these main four.
Hope this is going to help.

This helps a lot actually. You are adding cardio with this? @spike

I would up the reps to 15 and drop sets to 2, get volume in here.

Yes, treadmill Mon Tue Thu Fri x 12min each plus cycling and beach walking about 5kl week.
Started your 15 reps 2 sets last night, much better, get more burn out of that and felt much
better, and quicker to workout, thanks.

Eight-week update on trt 80mg x 2 week & gh 1iu per day.
Not a lot to report as yet, on the positive side i have lost about 1.5 kgs in body fat mainly around the waist
and skin looks to be a bit better. Have increased reps and weight as suggested by evo brothers so must be a bit of extra strength there, although i haven't noticed any change in the mirror.
Weight has gone from 82kg to 86kg then back to 82kg again so loosing 1.5 kg in body fat must mean extra muscle.
Not really any negatives to mention except a bit slower than i would like.
So thats it for eight-week update.

Yes i do cardo, treadmill 12min day, cycling daily 6 kls.

Wow, 71 years old, that is amazing.
I think you're probably the oldest guy on here.

i think nelson montoya was the oldest on here but he died a few months back.. think he was like 90 years old.

That's great. That you lost a couple kilograms around your body waist.

Make sure you get some picture updates and show us.

That's great that you're doing daily cardio.

That's very important for your health.

Glad to see you back. Posting on your log. We definitely missed you.

72 is a good age bro its like the new 52 @spike

hows your training today?
Today is shoulders, triceps and forearms, 10min warmup on treadmill and 4KL bike ride.
I'm liking the new 15 reps x 2 sets and extra weights seems to work better for me.
Cheers.

try even 20 reps low weights @spike

Great work

12-week update on TRT & GH on my 72-year-old body.
I have dropped back from 3 sets to 2 sets and feel more comfortable with that,
Reps have gone from 12 reps on 1st Jan to 1st Feb, 15 reps on 1st Feb to 10 March and
20 reps from 10 March till now.
Weights have increased by 4kL across the full range since Jan, although i know that's not much
for most of you, but for me i think it's pretty good.
I've lost about 2 KL body fat and my weight has gone from 82 KL to 83.5 KL up 1.5 KL
and my skin seems to look a bit better (for my age).
There doesn't seem to be any negatives only the water retention at first but that could have
been some outside influence.
Workouts now at this range are no harder than back at the old 12 reps so I'm happy with the
progress but would still like it to be a little faster.

You are the man for sure.

Next thing, I want to see from you is pushing yourself.

Wow, you're almost 73 years old. What are the inspiration! Tell us more about your diet as well. Can you post up some meal pictures?

Nothing. With 2 sets versus 3 sets. Certainly not going to make much of a difference but it can't actually be an advantage.

A+++ updates.

Good to hear you. It's been a while since you posted

You are a true inspiration to anybody who is 70 +.

Most people your age are just being lazy and sitting around watching TV.

I'm blown away by this log. I hope you continue to update it. I have a lot of people that I can message that are your age who need this inspiration.

I think it's fantastic.

The progress you're making.

I think just staying active is a win every single day. It makes you appreciate being young.

Dedicated

Im 36 and i only do two working sets of 12-10 reps a set, so you are great for your age brother 💪 keep up the hard work.

@spike Impressive progress! It's great to see you adapting your training and seeing positive changes in body composition and strength at 72. Slow and steady progress is key for long-term health and sustainability. Keep up the excellent work!

@spike nice update man. Keep after it

17 week update on trt + hgh.
Not much to say this time, been sick for 2 weeks so had a week off.
I don't feel any better being on hgh as i thought i would not sure why although i am
still losing a lot of body fat around 4kls now but body weight hasn't changed so must be adding muscle.
Still doing 2 sets 20 reps and added 2-3 kl to all weights.
Not sure if it is the trt or hgh that is doing the hard work, so having bloods done in 2 weeks, maybe that might
give me an insight into what's working.
As for the blood test can you tell me what test shough i ask for to check ghg levels.

please also post a few food pics for us. thanks

Just wanting to check with you, just did my first sub q test injection last week, 23g x 12mm needle .2ml and ended up
with a very large lump so tried again on other side and had the same issue only not as large.
What did i do wrong?

I can't speak much on why you're getting the lumps as I don't have much experience with subq injections but I have read that it's not for everyone, maybe try an IM shot and see how you go. Could be a reaction to the carrier oil. Also a 23g for subq is thick.. I suggest a 27g
Yes, i have always done IM with 23g needle just though i would try subq and 23g needle is all i had,
if it was ok would get 27g needles.
The GH subq works Just fine so must be the carrier jn the test.

Just wanting to check with you, just did my first sub q test injection last week, 23g x 12mm needle .2ml and ended up
with a very large lump so tried again on other side and had the same issue only not as large.
What did i do wrong?
That's why I dont suggest subQ injections too many issues with lumps and swelling @spike how about going to IM?
