Approved Log Newbie Body Recomp Log - changing my life

From memory i was 104; heaviest was 126kg but had been working towards the weight loss whilst getting the courage to start my own log
would love to see more updates from you :D @G-Merc 80

So a little time between updates due to travel with work and long days so it has been difficult couple of weeks, not as much training as I wanted to hit and not to my meal plan BUT I did keep with in calories and as close as possible to my macros; get at least a week at home so need to do some better planning to keep hitting my mark so I don't feel like I am at a stall or going backward; plan is to kick the new log off and commit to being about to log at least every 2-days.

Sponsored by @shadow labs
Coached by @R.AP

I will be closing this log out here and starting a new one in 2-weeks once my work travel commitments are out of the way, so here is my summary and latest blood work.
Will start the new log with updated blood work & a Dexa scan.

@shadow labs Test P smashing it out, this is 300mg per week, pinned daily - blood work done with a 3 day trough period. see below. Thank you legends for having me on your team
@R.AP with his advice and supplement program has my bloods looking bloody good considering I was only a week or so off Tren A after 8-10 weeks on it

Started this log at approx. 104kg and closing it out at 84kg - A big difference I can see and feel; all of this was possible due to those who supported me in this log, a big shout out @stevesmi to for having me as a client and being able to work with and bounce off, @LevButlerov & @Allupfromhere and everyone also for your ongoing support and advice.

Will work through a couple of things here to try and wrap it up

Tren A - Micro dosing 10mg daily

By far the greatest tool under the right conditions, I saw the quickest body-comp visual changes using Tren.
The mental boost in the first 6-weeks had me feeling amazing, motivated, focused and sharp with this awesome drive to just get shit done and smash the gym.
But as I hit that 7-8ish week mark, the anxiety started creeping in, along with the relationship insecurities; I was in denial that is was Tren ( I really didn't want to stop using Tren as it is very addictive seeing what it does visually for you)I was blaming other things in my cycle, these may have helped overload the system pushing it to come on, after stopping Tren everything settling down within the first week, it does take a couple of weeks for everything to really get back to a level head and you're feeling calm.

Would I use Tren again, yes without doubt when the time is right.
Would I recommend it, yes BUT under the right conditions and with the knowledge of how it works and what to watch for.

Cagrilintide

This has been a really good adjunct with Reta, I lowered my dose of Reta and added 1mg of Cag, this squashed my hunger and stopped me being backed up, i also noticed smoother blood sugar levels across the day with adding this in, highly recommend this.

I have found throughout this journey I prefer short acting esters, they just seem to agree with me over longer acting esters, I also prefer pinning daily to stop peaks happening as I tend to be more sensitive to them.

What would I do differently?

I would seek a coach from the very start to cover nutrition, weights programs, PED and PEP cycles and so on,(I prefer it all being laid out and just showing up and getting it done, I tend to over complicate things with programs, meals and so on) this makes a big difference on how quickly I saw progress and the ability to give feedback and being able to make educated adjustments and not knee jerk which i did too many times.
Focused more on nutrition, not all calories are the same, especially when you are using PED/PEP.

But at the end of it, I have learnt a lot along the way and have really enjoyed this journey and now looking forward to the next chapter

Thanks brother, I want to put time aside each day to add to my log and also be able to contribute, just need to make it a habit as i do enjoy it.

I am still getting in some workouts but find i am cramming them in end of week and over weekend as some nights I am still out with clients till 1am odd then back up and at it by 530am latest.

I did catchup on the mega thread and was excited to see Cag being a point of discussion as it really is a good add in with Reta, good synergy from my experience; It will be interesting to see CGM feedback when it arrives as Cag seems to have smoothed out Glucose from what i can see.

Cagrilintide I think is the next point we need to discuss as a community, it will change how reta is used imo

I agree, I think with the synergy I am seeing it would 100% be my recommendation; I am starting my mum on Reta and Cag, she is currently on Tirz.

Brother wow nice final log and thoughts! A lot to take out of this for sure which is helpful to many.

Firstly - should be very proud of your achievements! Massive recomp and looking incredible 🔥 also pretty healthy generally so little recovery block should have you in perfect state for goal / block

I will add the cagrilintide to my next cut at struggled with appetite suppression with the Reta, even at 4mg. The glucose and insulin sensitivity benefits of Reta for me were spot on and this was evident in my blood work. Still running 2mg during build phase but getting a calories in just fine!

@shadow labs oils are 🔥. Results validate 💯. In good hands with the SL team.. they are building beasts in 2026 🦍🦍

Agree, the use of a good coach, especially when playing with PEDs, is priceless. @R.AP is elite and will take you to the next level in no time 👌👌

Great feedback on tren. Will play with this later in year so your experiences are great to know

Will be following the next phase 💯

@G-Merc 80 is a legend bro! Helping him nurse a bit of a knee-niggle at the moment but I know how important this journey is to him and how much effort he puts in and I cannot WAIT to see where it takes us.

New log will be introducing everyone to his reverse and build phase. This is where the fun happens.

Quick little update on Reta/Cag combo

Sponsored by @shadow labs , loving their Reta, thanks legends!
Coached by @R.AP

3rd week into the Reta and Cag combo, since starting this combo i have been able to keep Reta dose lower, keep good hunger suppression and smooth out blood levels; this is now 100% how I will run my Reta.

Will update the main subject once my mum hits the end of her 2nd week, but as we are able to run reta low she has gone from split dose to single dose without any negative side affects, as we paired it with Cag hunger suppression is on point, she is really happy to see the weight coming down without feeling like she was starving herself.

@G-Merc 80 You are doing a terrific job on this, man. I agree, man, on the red-a-dose. Sometimes people run it way too much. I think that running it at a lower dosage is smart in most situations.

Keep up the good work, champ. @G-Merc 80 It's great that you're experimenting with these amazing fat loss peptides. And you're figuring out some hacks on how to make them work even better.

So i have hit a little roadblock before i start my new log, have managed to tear or strain my medial meniscus; will be getting scans tomorrow.

Started on a TB/BPC combo last night Sub Q close to site of injury, from my understanding there isn't much that can be done other than letting it rest up for now 👎🏽

So in the interim I will be skipping leg days that involved quads and knee movements, what is everyone's experience and outcomes using the wolverine stack for healing, was it noticeable?

When it happened i heard a pop and had tears in my eyes, it has a constant low pain that isn't subsiding as yet, ended up taking a valium to get some sleep last night

Dang, sorry to hear this happened. Sounds like your doing the right things so far. Speedy recovery my friend.

I hobble when I walk, couldn't get referral for scan till late Friday afternoon, and now travelling all week, so next chance I have for scan is Friday, I will try and post pic later today. been using the combo stack and inflamation goes down for awhile but slightest wrong move and that pain hits all over again stopping me in my spot; not fun.

hopefully we can see how bad via a pic :D
get an MRI if you can

Thanks Lev, Thats what the Dr has given a referral for, I have a friend who is a sport physio who reckons there isn't much they can do either way?
lets at least MRI it

lets at least MRI it
Thats the plan for this Friday, this is a picture a couple of days later after resting it up and icing it. still puffy but a lot less than it was, biggest problem is that even the smallest wrong movement send shooting pian through the knee again, starting to get very frustrating.

it looks like swelling actually :( @G-Merc 80 you're icing it?

It was a lot worse the day it happened, it ballooned but icing it helped bring it down, will get MRI done this Friday to hopefully get an idea of what is going on.
lets see :D I hope not bad

I agree, I think with the synergy I am seeing it would 100% be my recommendation; I am starting my mum on Reta and Cag, she is currently on Tirz.
I just caught this post by you bro, I'm starting my Dad on the same thing soon too (Reta/Cag) and he is on Tirz now too but has reached max dose and plateau'd

very curious to read how he progresses and if the plateau breaks, what dose did you start out on?
thank you for the podcast I'm listening 2nd time :D you are truly an amazing person @G-Merc 80 big share, EVO family love and support your way!

Thanks so much brother, truly grateful ❤️
We are grateful too and lucky to have you here brother. What an amazing and touching podcast. You are truly a gentle warrior of life and I respect everything you've been through and what you've risen out of to be here stronger and better as a man and person.

Thanks so much for caring and inquiring brother. 🙏

My Dad is on week 16 and we started at 2.5mg and worked our way up to 12.5mg last week. Right at 12.5mg is when the sides started (constipation and a bit of nausea, it also slammed his appetite so low that his BG was dipping and he was feeling light headed and 'off' likely due to electrolyte imbalance and low BG). My Cag just landed and I'll be lowering him to 7.5mg along with 1mg of Cag and I'm thinking that will be his sweet spot to ride out the full 24-48 week clinically tested trial for Tirz. He's already went from 310lbs to just over 270lbs and needed to lose all the weight he already has. I also noticed he's quite sensitive to the half life as right on day 6 he notices his appetite coming back with a vengeance so I'm thinking the Cag being on board with the Tirz is just the trick. Thanks again to @LevButlerov for writing up our Cag community research thread; anyone can check it out here ➡️ Cagrilintide with GLP1s Semaglutide Tirzepatide Retatrutide

So I am very much the same, the last day or two before my shot I start wanting to go into Pacman mode and eat everything around me; I wonder if you could do GLP Sunday and Cag Wednesday for example to help overcome this, I might give it a go this coming week. @LevButlerov thoughts on doing different days?

We miss you @G-Merc 80 looking forward to your next update.

I have an update on Reta with Cag coming in my log soon that may help answer your questions about Cag. You can read about Cag here as well ➡️ Cagrilintide with GLP1s Semaglutide Tirzepatide Retatrutide

Hey Team, @HarleyGuy thank you for the bump.

Life has been crazy with work, only getting 1 day at home every week at the moment so updates are slow, still get on to quickly try and catch-up on posts as my little mental break from work lol, I am hoping after this week I wont need to do any travel for at least few weeks.

Still getting in training, not as many days as I would normally do but still happening, food plan sucks living out of hotels and planes but still choosing healthy meals even if that is pre-made macro microwave meals, still sitting around 85kg.

Knee is no better, I have been slowly doing rehab on it but squats and presses are still out for now, it only takes the wrong movement for my knee to scream out in pain and then screw me for a week so going slow (annoying as fuck as I feel like my legs are getting smaller, probably not and is just in my mind)

I need to do a full check in with the coach this week (I have been saying this last three weeks) so I can hopefully move into a push as I come into a solid block where I wont be traveling and can go back to meal prep and gym routine, my mental health bloody needs it badly as I can feel the spark is lower than usual; if coach gives me the nod I will finally start that new log I keep talking about; I guess the main thing is right now with work consuming my life that I am still showing up, it may not be 100% but I have not stopped, this period will pass.

Will start log with current body comp pics and bloods

@HarleyGuy keen on the cag update, update on my parents: mum is slowly losing weight but refuses to actually take my advice and start tracking her food and to stop loving the Vino every day. Dad who is on Tirz is doing a lot better but this is down to his reduced Vino intake. So you can have GLPs and adjuncts but without creating a deficit you are not going to see the results you are chasing

An awesome touch down from @shadow labs, Some Mast E & my love Reta lol, bloody love my team.

Side note: I noticed a pea size lump under the right nipple that was sore, given I am using an A.I I knew it was going to need more so started 20mg Nolva daily and after three days it has all but gone, not experienced it before so had a small freak out lol

Nolva is some powerful stuff bro. I'd stay up on your bloodwork since you're probably redlining your e2 levels. And sh*t man I'm sorry to hear about the knee but I'm happy to hear you're going slow with it. Don't fret, just gives you more excuse to do squats once you're better!

I feel your pain... I can't get my Dad to put the beer down but he's still losing nonetheless (Tirz 10mg now). Glad they're both doing better though.

And no problem about the bump bro I was starting to wonder if you were okay, we missed you here.

Thanks Brother; Agree with bloods as its been about 4-weeks since I last did them. (didnt think Nolva would fix it so quick to be honest)

Bloods every 4 weeks is very ideal I'm glad you're on top of this!

I'd monitor this closely and keep the aromasin on board though

Sometime we have hard days that turn into hard weeks, so decided to switch it up a little and listen to David Goggins to see what I can take away from him to feel stronger in those days; what books have helped you with getting the mental strength kicking?
I know @Noah Wixx is a fan of Goggins
