Well I've gotten a couple of photos from the weekend so I will share the good news with everyone. So the show was a successful event and managed to get some great results.
So I managed a first place in the First Timer's bodybuilding class, a second place in the Masters over 40 bodybuilding class. Then was able to come back at the end of the day to battle it out in the Overall bodybuilding class where I came second. Yes it would have been nice to win the Overall as well but from where I started to now I have done pretty well. Having my coach at the event and the night before really helped with getting ke peaked perfectly for the show. I continued to carb up in the Friday night and cut out water at 7pm. Woke up on Saturday looking dry so the absence of water was working. I had a nice breakfast of sourdough, poached eggs and avacado with a decent serving of salt.
We arrived at the venue around 11:30am for my final Protan top coat which unfortunately took a couple of hours to get done which probanly didn't help with my stress levels but managed to get it done and be on stage at 2pm.
Throughout the day I grazed on rice cakes and honey to keep the glycogen up and in the muscles. By the time I stepped out on stage my physique was the best it's ever been in my life. There was no signs of ever spilling over but still nice and full.
All in all it was a great experience and only further engrained my purpose in life which is to compete which in turn makes me a better husband to my wife and the type of role model I need to be for my daughters. I enjoy everything involved with this type of lifestyle from the meal preps, the gym, the calorie counting, the knowledge I've learnt and passed on. One of the biggest rewards is the inspiration I am able to give to guys to show them it's not too late to make a change and we all don't start our journey already in shape.
First and foremost I want to thank AJ
@UGL OZ for making all this possible. If I never followed him to his forum I would have never have done the transformation competition and forever changed my physique and life. Being a UGLOZ athlete means the workd to me as it makes it possible for me to compete but also show my gratitude by giving it my all-in the gym and pushing myself to the standard that is synonymous with the brand UGLOZ and its products. Also thankyou to Kiwi
@UGL OZ Support Rep coz I know how hard you work behind the scenes with the company making all these logistics come together.
Thankyou to the guys
@Driven-Nutrition who have helped in some many ways for a long time whether it be products or just giving me advice on compounds or what class I should compete in. You have kept me healthy enough to not die before I made it to the finsh line

Now to the captain of the ship
@Gains Man the relationship between us has made sure we are both on the same page and you have learnt my body and how it reacts fairly quickly as we never done a mock prep. So to be able to bulk me up them strip me down to be stage lean in such a short amount of time is a testament to your knowledge as a coach. Thamkyou for your guidance and support, encouragement even if it was me stressing and bitching over nothing

I'm sure in the future we will bring an evem bigger better version of B3rnie in the future.
