Approved Log B3rnie Iron Flame Rebound - Rebound/Bulk Log

It's @B3rnie's first show - regardless of how he performs, it takes a lot of balls to hit the stage. Big props to the man regardless of how it goes - he's done an amazing job prepping for his first time hitting the stage. We're all rooting for your big fella - you're going to be a winner in our books regardless!

AJ
Big props for sure, @B3rnie will do well :D @UGL OZ

5Amino1Q 3x50mcg daily, 3x500mcg SLU-PP-332 daily, Axis health support capsules 2x2 daily, Kaizen 0.2ml/ Kaizen 2.0 0.2ml/ L-Carnitine 0.6ml daily, Methylene Blue 10mg Monday to Friday supplied by @Driven-Nutrition
250mcg MT2 and 5mg Cialis from another vendor. Peptide stack is 5mg GHK-Cu, Pal GHK 250mcg, 1mg BPC157, TB500 500mcg, MOTs-C 1mg.
Just started Retratutide 2x 750mcg per week to help with cravings along with the other benefits it has to offer. So, my cycle has changed as we approach the finish line. The test dose has dropped significantly as well as changing esters for faster adjustment if needed as well as being lower to reduce water retention along with the HGH for the same reason. The Tren-A has been added for its anti-catabolic effects as well as helping with strength needed whilst calories are being lowered. The anavar anecdotally seems to reduce my belly fat and clen will help with fat loss. Had another posing lesson with my posing coach and a tweak to hand position and grip has made my side tricep poses so much thicker and bigger. Will be back this weekend for another private lesson on Saturday to focus on transitions and my 60 second routine. Then on the Sunday I will be attending a posing seminar with some ICN (I Compete Natural) pro athletes and judges. Even though it is a different league which I will never compete in, any form of posing training and advice I can get the better as we don't even have a posing room in any of the gyms from my town.
Overall, we are tracking well with body fat reduction and heading in the right direction. I will look at adding some treadmill at home as my workplace has me currently at a computer desk more often which is why the daily average steps has been reducing. Looking to lose another 3 or 4 kg to get me sitting at in the right place for peak week. This is where every little bit counts, and I promise to do my best and put on a show to be remembered. ✌️

@B3rnie the workouts are a thing of beauty. you are showing how its done. absolutely nailing this

What's your thinking for you using Methylene Blue?
Helps me feel more mentally clear. It first piqued my interest when it was mentioned in the mitochondria stack and I have been losing fat alot faster than before even though calories aren't as low as they have been. Even if its a placebo effect for fat loss the clarity I get from it is enough to continue it throughout the rest of prep.

Thanks for all the support guys ✌️ as AJ said this is my first show but definitely won't be my last. I'm here to prove to myself that I can do it as well as show the guys who were just like me 2 years ago. Overweight and depressed thinking that you will never be able to change you physique to the point you're confident enough to get in stage in front of a crowd of strangers. Whatever the outcome is I will assess the whole situation and come up with a game plan for what I need to do and where to head to next. My journey in this world is only in its early stages and will continue to endure the challenges that I will face and become a better person in all ways both physically and mentally.

Looking to lose another 3 or 4 kg to get me sitting at in the right place for peak week. This is where every little bit counts, and I promise to do my best and put on a show to be remembered. ✌️

Well another week down as I approach the finish line and seemingly at a pace that is sustainable and achievable. My weight dropped another kilo down which is what we want for the next 3 weeks as well. Then we will fill back up over prep week to get the look we are after. Unfortunately my position at my job means I'm no longer as active and won't be getting my average daily steps to 10k like I normally would as I'm averaging only 8k a day currently. This means I will be making up the remainder on the treadmill at home. Had another private posing lesson with my coach and made more progress in that department. All my mandatories are pretty much at a level that's sufficient so we started to focus on my solo routine. I dropped down the Retratrutide dose as well because it felt too strong and was worried I wouldn't get my protein macros met each day. So I'm now taking 2x 500mcg per week which seems to be enough to take the edge off but still have hunger. Not much else to report on this week but promise to get some physique updates on my next update. Also forgot to say we switched back to start the weeks fresh with it as it is the one which I'm finding the hardest to do. As well as taking out Incline Dumbbell Press and substituting it with Incline Smith Machine as that was one exercise which could most likely cause injury to my shoulder and being this close it is not worth the risk.

Yeah I'm 3 weeks out from the PCA Border Classic. Then we have NPC starting theirs as well for the state titles so some guys are competing in that which starts same weekend. I will be doing the Sydney show the following week. We also have the NABBA federation doing their shows at the same time too. There is like 3 or 4 different leaugues with their shows all overlapping each other. Not to mention the Aussie Fitness expo with Guest appearances from Lee Priest and Wesley Vissers is the same weekend as Sydney too, so will miss out on that but can always do that another time. My shows are my number one priority for now.

Well we are heading now into the thick of it for prep. Starting to feel what it is all about when they say you get brain fog. It is nothing that bad that I can't function in my day to day life but I definitely feel like i'm running on the smell of an oily rag and 2 brain cells  The weight has continued to drop at the rate we wish to do so that is promising we are heading into the right direction. Strength seems to be stalling but at the least it isn't decreasing which is great. Some of the exercises in the gym require me to do a couple of rest pause reps to get it done then so be it. Will get some pictures from check in this morning either later tonight or tomorrow. Actually I will throw up a quick one from Back/Biceps the other day which I was happy with how it looked. Was also lucky enough to grab some Mast-E and Rip Blend from the UGLOZ drop the other day. We all know how hard it is at the moment for Masteron whether it be Enanthate or Propionate. I have my song picked for my 60 second routine and the poses which I will do for that. So now will focus on that alot more as well as practising my breathing and transitions for the mandatory poses.

Well we are getting very close now guys. As I write this I have one more week to knock the last bit of fat off my glutes and hammies then it's peak week for the Border Classic. Week just gone has been great and lost a good amount of weight and only now am I showing any sign of fatigue. Had a great weekend with a group and private posing lesson with an IFBB Classic Pro. We have my solo routine sorted with song choice locked in and am practising this over and over. Also got an awesome surprise this morning from my sponsor with a personalised T-shirt to wear at my debut as well as one to get framed for memorabilia. This is an example of why I am so lucky to be Team UGLOZ and why I give nothing but my best to do the label and myself proud. Overall not much to report on other than we are on track to be where we want to be for show day.

I apologise for my absence on the forum but he last 2 weeks have been extremely busy and will do a double post to catch everyone up on what the current situation is. This was my last week before peak week and at this stage I'm really starting to feel the fatigue setting in. At just past halfway through the week I dropped down calories once again to make sure I continued to cut bodyfat and in the end it worked reaching another all time low for myself 80kg. The days feel long and my legs just feel cooked most of the time. Unfortunately the way my position at work has changed I currently don't do anywhere near the same amount of steps during the day that I once did. Which means making up for them outside of work at home on the treadmill which means even less spare time to do other things but these are the sacrifices which have to be made if you want to be successful. We increased the Clen to 80mcg per day as well as increasing the Anavar to 60mg per day. I will leave this update here and get to filling you guys in on my peak week.

Well Peak Week has finally arrived, So as you can see above calories got dropped again so we can lose more bodyfat as I'm not going to be able to build any more muscle at this point and conditioning is the primary focus for show day. We lowered the HGH right down to 2iu per night as to make sure there is no water retention that could be caused by that. I also took Aromisin 12.5mg on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to help lower any remaining E2. Also all oil injections were stopped on Thursday to be safe if for some ungodly reason there was inflammation at the injection site or even worse an infection affecting my appearance on show day. The clen was also dropped on this day as well. Our approach was to do a backload so carb loading was introduced on the Thursday and Friday. My last drink of water was consumed at 7pm on the Friday night as well to ensure I woke up Saturday with a nice dry appearance.
As for training this week, legs were removed as they're too taxing on the body when it comes to recovery as well as the inflammation they cause. This was welcomed very much so as my legs have never felt so heavy in my life lol. All in all We look to be in a very good position for the show on Saturday.

That’s a solid peak week setup. Calories are low so you’re peeling off that last layer while keeping protein high to hold tissue. Dropping the HGH and oils was smart, keeps you dry and avoids any inflammation showing up on stage. Carb backload Thursday and Friday should have you full without spilling since water was cut at the right time. Legs being pulled out was the right call too, they’ll look sharper without the extra swelling. You’re set up well for a crisp look Saturday. @B3rnie cannot wait!

Well I've gotten a couple of photos from the weekend so I will share the good news with everyone. So the show was a successful event and managed to get some great results.
So I managed a first place in the First Timer's bodybuilding class, a second place in the Masters over 40 bodybuilding class. Then was able to come back at the end of the day to battle it out in the Overall bodybuilding class where I came second. Yes it would have been nice to win the Overall as well but from where I started to now I have done pretty well. Having my coach at the event and the night before really helped with getting ke peaked perfectly for the show. I continued to carb up in the Friday night and cut out water at 7pm. Woke up on Saturday looking dry so the absence of water was working. I had a nice breakfast of sourdough, poached eggs and avacado with a decent serving of salt.
We arrived at the venue around 11:30am for my final Protan top coat which unfortunately took a couple of hours to get done which probanly didn't help with my stress levels but managed to get it done and be on stage at 2pm.
Throughout the day I grazed on rice cakes and honey to keep the glycogen up and in the muscles. By the time I stepped out on stage my physique was the best it's ever been in my life. There was no signs of ever spilling over but still nice and full.
All in all it was a great experience and only further engrained my purpose in life which is to compete which in turn makes me a better husband to my wife and the type of role model I need to be for my daughters. I enjoy everything involved with this type of lifestyle from the meal preps, the gym, the calorie counting, the knowledge I've learnt and passed on. One of the biggest rewards is the inspiration I am able to give to guys to show them it's not too late to make a change and we all don't start our journey already in shape.
First and foremost I want to thank AJ @UGL OZ for making all this possible. If I never followed him to his forum I would have never have done the transformation competition and forever changed my physique and life. Being a UGLOZ athlete means the workd to me as it makes it possible for me to compete but also show my gratitude by giving it my all-in the gym and pushing myself to the standard that is synonymous with the brand UGLOZ and its products. Also thankyou to Kiwi @UGL OZ Support Rep coz I know how hard you work behind the scenes with the company making all these logistics come together.
Thankyou to the guys @Driven-Nutrition who have helped in some many ways for a long time whether it be products or just giving me advice on compounds or what class I should compete in. You have kept me healthy enough to not die before I made it to the finsh line 😆
Now to the captain of the ship @Gains Man the relationship between us has made sure we are both on the same page and you have learnt my body and how it reacts fairly quickly as we never done a mock prep. So to be able to bulk me up them strip me down to be stage lean in such a short amount of time is a testament to your knowledge as a coach. Thamkyou for your guidance and support, encouragement even if it was me stressing and bitching over nothing 😆 I'm sure in the future we will bring an evem bigger better version of B3rnie in the future. ✌️

Excited for the future too ❤

Sorry for the absence of late but been busy doing my NPC/IFBB show as well as 3 of my daughters birthdays along with everything else in the life of a working man with 4 daughters.
I don't have my laptop as my wife has it with her whilst she is away doing courses for venapuncture and phlebotomy courses. So I won't have my usual training routine table that I would normally post.
So my prep leading into the show was the same as the previous week's one except this time we dropped the Anavar down to 30mg and introduced 30mg Winstrol. This definitely paid off in the end as I was alot more vascular. We presented a better physique then the previous week but the judges thought otherwise. I was disappointed with the outcome of the Masters over 40 bodybuilding. The guy that won it had the best build but I believe I should have placed second and at the least third.
The True Novice class was alot more stacked with some outstanding physiques and basically I didn't stand a chance. I met some great athletes and got my face out there in the scene and all this has done is make me more determined to work on my weaknesses and return with a build worthy of taking home a placing.
Currently cruising on 250mg Test-E, 100mg Primo-E, 250mcg MT2, 2x 250mcg Retatrutide and 4iu HGH Will do this for 8 weeks or when markers are satisfactory. Then we blast and everything will be increased approximately 50% so food, PEDs, training etc. I came here to make a name for myself and as a man all you have is your word and your nuts so I make sure I keep them and break them for nobody.

The guy that came 2nd with me in the green.

Busy stretch with the show and family but you still brought a sharper look with the winstrol and drop in anavar, vascularity really came through. Placings don’t always go the way they should but getting on stage, meeting people and showing your physique is still a win and gives you momentum. Love your look and your win for the UGL OZ team @UGL OZ @B3rnie
Cruise setup with test e, primo, HGH and retatrutide looks solid, and bumping everything in the next blast with more food and training intensity will set you up to bring a package that can’t be overlooked.

bro you look good. i don't care what judges say. You should have won first place easy. @B3rnie

A great job about the competition, man. @B3rnie Sometimes though, some people are just better. Nothing really you can do about it but you really did a great job.

I posted this in Gains's thread - but just wanted to post here too: Both you and @Gains Man put in a monstrous amount effort and hit huge milestones as a result. Incredibly proud of you guys - well done @Gains Man @B3rnie, you both should be as equally as proud of how much you both achieved in such a short amount of time you had to prep too. You blew everyone's expectations out of the water. What a ride! Can't wait to continue seeing you pushing forward and hitting even more goals @B3rnie - we'll be here to back you the entire way :)
