I did my first injection with the reta from @RRRaus dosed at 1mg. I normally take it Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 1mg each time, for a total of 3mg. When i first started reta, i did 1mg for 4 weeks, 2mg for 4 weeks, and only just recently moved up to 3mg. I read in the clinical trails that it goess all the way up to 12mg a week. I can only imagine what the appetite supression is like at that dose! Im not sure i can handle much more than this, so i think i'll stay here for now.

I felt like a couple exercise, the barbell rows specifically, I could have gone heavier but my wrist didn’t feel strong enough. I could try lifting straps. The barbell bicep curl, I actually had to increase the weight after my first set

As for the dry mouth how much water are you getting in each day?
Dont worry so much about the scales too, we can become a slave to them if we're not carefull. Utilise progress photos once a fortnight or month at most so it to not be too regular.
If your feeling good and your happy visually, thats a much healthier way to manage progress.
Scales just show movement it weight. It wont specify what that weight actually is though, could be fat, muscle, water or glycogen. Too many variables to warrant changes based on its reflections. Even more so if your day to day structure isnt exactly the same with recovery, sleep, nutrition, hydration, stress etc.

I wasn’t feeling particular “sexy” after my workout and I admittedly forgot about a progress photo, and had already eaten
You can’t see much from my conservative gym outfit, but I’m feeling lean and strong!

Mood was definitely up today. I was slightly hungrier than normal today, the sort of hunger from being a bit tired and maybe depleted.

For sure im hearing ya, you can still stay lean, petite and feminine with some muscle too though. Having some more muscle will help you keep lean also, its the more expensive tissue calorie wiseI’m not sure. I obviously like being lean and petite. It’s a nice “look” for me.
But I do think I need to actively gain weight via muscle.
Long term low calorie and restriction does things to our female hormones (TMI)

Sleep disruption from Reta is common early on, try pinning earlier in the day and add glycine before bed to help normalize sleep.

Always a win vs a loss if you made it to the gym! Dumbbell press is the way to go you look great and lean and are obviously tightening up. No such thing as a bad log update if you’re updating so no worries there.Week 2 - Day 3

Glycine is a godsend for sleep - I use 5g a nightStart glycine at 3g about 30 minutes before bed. You can increase to 5g if sleep still feels light after a few nights.

I’ve been getting in some more caloric dense foods to get in easy calories. I naturally eat super healthy so it’s a nice treat to have some gummy things.

Today was Legs. I didn’t have a lot of time so I did a circuit I do when I’m time poor. It’s 5 rounds of leg press, leg extensions and hamstring curl, as a super set. It’s brutal. The first 2 rounds you feel ok, but the last 3 are hell.
Over the 15 total sets I was able to slowly increase the leg press weight from 97kg to 109kg, getting 10-12 reps each set.
The leg extension and hamstring curl stayed consistent at 23kg for 10-12 reps all 5 sets each.
Great way to get Bambi legs in 20 minutes

Another early gym session to start the day
It was a hot day today, the first one in a while and the heat really took it out of me. I had a pretty action packed day, and running around in the sun all day was exhausting!
Food
Breakfast - Chobani yogurt with whey and collagen protein powder, and rolled oats
Morning Snack - Half a protein bar
Lunch - Chicken, sweet potato and broccoli with a kiwi fruit.
Afternoon snack - half a banana and a small chocolate
Dinner - Pasta Alfredo with side salad
Drank way over 3lt of water today.
I’ve got some Oreo grenade protein bars coming soon! They are easily the best protein bar!

Today was pull day. I think my arms are really starting to take on some more noticeable shape.
BB bent over rows 30kg x 8, 8, 8
Machine pull down 25kg x 10, 30kg x 8, 8
Machine close grip row 25kg x 10, 10, 10
Cable pull down 10kg x 12, 12.5kg x 8, 8
BB bicep curl 12.5kg x 10, 10, 10
