Currently around 6 weeks into a slight push up after coming out of post comp recovery phase after competing in ifbb classic in October last year bodyweight sitting at 107.6kg

The plan this year is to drive upwards, potentially into open classes if weight doesn’t let me stay in classic. We have been only ticking away with food drugs and training volume as next week i get married and have to fit the suit. Once next week is through there will be some introductions slowly of undulation of training volume, food and drugs.

Whilst there’s plenty of room I have grown most my tissue on relatively low numbers with most push phases lucky to get 600mg so can’t imagine much more than that is needed.

Righto here’s the checkin for the week post wedding !!!

Super happy with these shots as fullness is there but condition is still quite crisp.
50carb will be increased this week as we can start to take the shackles off now the wedding is over.
First will be food and potentially once through to this weeks checkin we will get a volume escalation in training.

yeah feels the same tbh, Really the joys of holding weight, it may not feel like much progress is made but strength has been increasing nearly every session across the board super hungry which only buys into how well food is being utilised and not only better over month periods.

Goes to show sometimes weight isn’t the greatest metric to muscle growth hey. Keen to crank it up a notch now though have plenty of room to grow here

Even if the response of increased gh is not across training it will be there post training too which will always be good for recovery and increased igf-1. Placebo maybe but connection has been better and felt stronger, and gives me the ability to split dose and get the dose higher without the adverse side effects of sleepiness so win win

Righto here’s the checkin for the week post wedding !!!

Super happy with these shots as fullness is there but condition is still quite crisp.
50carb will be increased this week as we can start to take the shackles off now the wedding is over.
First will be food and potentially once through to this weeks checkin we will get a volume escalation in training.

Drug increase is a potential at some point but looking like not until needed to keep driving recovery and progressions with training.
Feel as though I’m well and truly back to my strongest post prep so will be nice to see where we can take this offseason.
Plenty of runway here tbh got lots to go and would like to see the bodyweight up around the 112-114 mark with similar condition

Thursday checkin, super happy with this. we have slowly started to undulate some volume in training now and push some volume post wedding. 3 sets added this week.

Bloods pulled this morning also to asses where everything is at before we push up a little more.
Next week check-in is Tuesday and we will see what coach thinks there, personally id like a little npp dribbled in to cover the joints as now that squatting strength and big compounds are at all time best my joints are taking a bit of a beating. currently only 210t 200primo so we have room to move.

We have also been running in 2iu gh pre training too, placebo or not ive been feeling a lit better connection and pump while training which is really helping pushing load. if the body can handle it we might even get this up to to 7iu per day 3iu pre 4iu pre bed. Seems to be a better option for me split dosing as when gh gets high pre bed for myself I wake groggy and struggle to stay awake through the day.

Today marks a little increase in assistance too, 10mg eod of npp to come in to try cover a bit of joint health as they are really feeling it atm, I don’t want too much as don’t want e2 to come up to much as that where I see blood pressure raise (something very careful with as I’m prone to higher numbers when my bodyweight is up this high)
100mg primo added to and we may see this mover another 100mg over the next few weeks to facilitate a good push in training progressions.

No set increase this week as want the assistance to do the work first then we will see if we can squeeze a little more in to the back to continue to try bring up the weak points.

Personally I like to get plenty of variety of colour from diet for the micronutrient profile, plus added to this I like to also get good fibre from fruit too
The other additive to this is normally on a training day I like to get lots in around the peri workout window to drive up high gi carb sources to fill and then refill glycogen stores as quickly as possible.
My idea around this is while we train we are always going to be more insulin sensitive so we are able to utalise that glycogen so much better in that period too.

Yeah you’re on the money but also thats not inherently bad because your liver’s job is to regulate blood glucose.

Fructose preferentially refilling liver glycogen simply helps maintain stable blood sugar between meals and during training. And the fact that it’s metabolized independently of insulin isn’t harmful, it just means it doesn’t spike blood glucose or demand a big insulin response.

In normal amounts especially from whole fruit, your liver handles fructose efficiently. It would be an issue if peri was solely driven by sugars, a mix of both is always going to be the target.

While your points are so valid I see it as a metabolic difference not a metabolic flaw.

righto checkin for the week, weight moved upwards but also could be attested to a little stress I have on atm and a slight reflux issue again as the look was potentially a little more washed than normal.

last weeks update was 10mg eod npp added and extra 100mg primo but on bloodwork coming back its now shown the primo pulling down on the testosterone side too much with readings of 14nmol on 210 test 200 primo.
executive decision was pull the primo back to 200 and this update is pushing the test and npp upwards.
extra 70mg npp added per week
extra 65mg test added per week which brings us to the following

The plan is bump each week for the next couple, if we can get to around 800-900 overall ill be pretty confident we can do some serious damage on this push a little more npp and test each week till we reach max as other than that bloods were pretty big on the mark nothing really to report.

righto checkin for the week, weight moved upwards but also could be attested to a little stress I have on atm and a slight reflux issue again as the look was potentially a little more washed than normal.

last weeks update was 10mg eod npp added and extra 100mg primo but on bloodwork coming back its now shown the primo pulling down on the testosterone side too much with readings of 14nmol on 210 test 200 primo.
executive decision was pull the primo back to 200 and this update is pushing the test and npp upwards.
extra 70mg npp added per week
extra 65mg test added per week which brings us to the following

The plan is bump each week for the next couple, if we can get to around 800-900 overall ill be pretty confident we can do some serious damage on this push a little more npp and test each week till we reach max as other than that bloods were pretty big on the mark nothing really to report.

currently 4 days per week with 38 this week sets per week over those 4 days (still very low post comp)
Everything is taken awfully close to true failure
Monday: Posterior
Tuesday: Chest biceps
Thursday: Back hamstrings
Friday: Triceps legs

Most volume is allocated to posterior as trying to bring up the rear shots

This one was just a roidsfe standard, normally I would run a medical bb3 but basically only wanted to see where the test and e2 numbers were as bloods were perfect 8-10 weeks ago already
