9ml Out Of 10ml Vial

Everything was drawn exactly, I kept a running tally of how much I used. I was using a 21 gauge to draw into a 1ml low dead space syringe. I bought 6 bottles of test e.

That’s a big needle. You oils be drawing more than you think.
I made sure I drew everything out of it into the syringe so I did'nt waste anything and I had exact amounts in the syringe each time. The 21 was used for the first 5mls, I then switched to a 25g out of paranoia of coring out the rubber.

You still didn’t mention what brand you’re using and where you got it from.
I can almost guarantee your were drawing to much. A 21ga needle can hold a fair bit of oil but it also could have had a little less in the vial as well.

I got the bottles from a recommended supplier from this forum.

This is my first time doing steroids and i'm wondering is it normal to only get 9ml out of what is supposed to be a 10ml vial? Cheer's for any replies.
Unfortunately it can be brother, not because the supplier runs them short but over multiple injections there is waste in the needles. Some suppliers may run their volume a ml over for this reason but they're not obliged to.
As @s.gentz said we lose more then we think in the needle.

1ml is a heck of a discrepancy though. I will switch to a 27g to draw for next bottle. The middle needle syringe show's you exactly what i'm using. I am also using a 27g 38mm needle to inject everytime.

Yeah the bulb at the base of the needle before the syringe tip is most likely where you lose it but hey you can try the 27g pin just so slow to draw back.
You end up just dealing with it after a while bro and and a vial is done just crack open another one lol

There is no way the bulb part over the syringe's would add up to 1ml though in the low dead space syringe's. When I did recreational substance's (alledgedly of course), if you bought an ounce/gram you got what you paid for.

Maybe speak to the lab you brought from bro.

So I suppose the question is, when you get a vial that is 10.5 or 11 are you questioning this as well.
The nature of the beast is that we will inevitably have some loss during the drawing up and also after injection. These amounts can and do add up. I know it can be frustrating but it is par for the course of what we do.
I’ve had 3 vials that look identical give me 3 different amounts you just don’t know what is left in the vial or in the inside of the stopper surface tension can be a bitch at holding back fluid. I bet if you ran all the vials through a pharmaceutical grade filler and centrifuge they would still give you some discrepancies Maybe if it stresses you out too much you might need to consider going natty .
Good luck and stay healthy

I broke the metal clamp and removed the rubber stopper to make sure I drew everything out of the bottle.

You will never get the exact you are expecting
It’s scientifically impossible to always extract 10ml on the dot.
You will drive yourself nuts 🥜 obsessing over this

I made sure I was precise with measurement's so I made sure I took the amount I wanted to take.
He wasnt saying your weren't precise brother he was saying he doesnt worry that much about it.
I'm more like, 'yeah, that's about a ml, add a ml of the next part of the stack. Yep, looks about right.'

I'm more fascinated by how precise you're being with your measurements. I'm more like, 'yeah, that's about a ml, add a ml of the next part of the stack. Yep, looks about right.'
You'll send yourself batty worrying about a bit here and there brother.
So so true

Brother honestly and im not trying to sound like a dick as i understand you want what you paid for but if your that concerned amount a minuscule loss best you take it up with the vendor your brought it from. We have all given a similar response that is clear you not completely accepting or happy with. Best to talk to them bro all the best

I was just about to say that mate, @SONNY CROCKETT we are all here to help and give advice brother but if the all the advice is the same and you keep going around in circles then I’m not sure what else we can say.

well said, I was heading there next but you said this better 😂

So have none of you measured exactly what you are getting? Just curious.
When I was a noob to this I tracked and measured it. Had a calendar for injections. Everything. Figured out in this game that that is fruitless and a waste of time lol. Just enjoy the cycle and focus more on ur diet training and sleep.

Please share vial pics and syringe pics actual real ones @SONNY CROCKETT

and I asked you to start a log, when is this going up? :D
https://www.evolutionary.org/forums/threads/using-10ml-vial-after-28-days.107531/post-1880899
Cycle plan looks mild enough but without a proper log we can’t really help, we’d just be guessing. @SONNY CROCKETT

Start a full cycle log with training, diet, and how you feel each week so the feedback actually means something. EVO family will support you and it will take you 15min only to get log up :D

HOW-TO LOG?

Why is a Log Journal important?

  • Doing a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
  • Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
  • The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
  • Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you:
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight, height, age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
  • Please post a Log Journal asap for us

Yeah that's the same as me just out here raw dogging my measurements 🤣

So have none of you measured exactly what you are getting? Just curious.
I kind of did at the start since it was easy 1ml injections but then I got 11 or 12 out and asked my supplier he said he normally put 1 or 2 ml extra in. Then I stopped measuring 😅

If I show the vial pic I am outing someone on a public forum which is'nt very professional and in the end I could've stuffed up. So I will make sure first with another vial to see if it is short or if I have made a mistake.
Much respect to you for this point of view brother 🙏

Have you never been worried about putting more gear in though?
Not really generally we are working at a range anyway.
I'm in Australia so most of the gear here is UGL anyway and it's hard to guarantee the same concentrations even with the same batches

Get 27g insulin syringes and inject everyday or 2 and you won't lose as much, unless you are running a shit load of gear there's no need to harpoon yourself
I'm using a 27g to inject and i'm using test enanthate so I don't need to inject everyday, I only inject twice a week.

I am having trouble finding small gauge's though with a 38mm needle.
Difficult to get insulin needles with anything longer than 1/2 inch. Depending on your body fat levels and where you're pinning you can get most muscles with them though. I did get some 31g inch long leur lock needles once but it takes ages for the oil to come out. I think the smallest I've seen that's longer than 1/2 inch is 25g

Yeah, 25g 1 inch is'nt a problem to find. Injecting into my glutes.

As soon as you can, move to smaller gauges. Less scarring to worry about in the long term. Again, depends on body fat levels though. You should be able to hit delts, triceps and quads with the smaller needles

Are you drawing and injecting with the same needle? I drew with a 27g and tried using it to inject with as well but it was flexing quite a bit and I could'nt get it into my backside. Last thing I wanted was a snapped needle and having to get the plier's to pull the thing out.

No. Use a 21g or larger needle to draw out into a regular 3ml syringe. Then you pull the plunger out of the insulin needle and carefully squirt what you want into the insulin syringe and place the plunger back in. You can't draw oil into smaller needles but you can push it out.

I assume the only reason of doing this is to use a 29-31 gauge needle, correct?

Correct. Minimises scar tissue, helps with quicker healing and less pain at the injection site. If you hit the area with a massage gun afterwards for five or ten minutes, you'll hardly know you've injected anything.

Righto. So far I have'nt had a problem using the 27g, I don't feel that going in, thought I would. I tried subcut with the 30g in my stomach, I felt that, did have a lump there afterward's for a day and very mild pain. I only did that once, just prefer im in glute.

Unless you have a serious amount of body fat a 1/2 needle will do the job. I use 29g 1/2 inch.
Glutes quads delts lats and vg on rotation.
Have you used a half inch to inject tren acetate or enanthate? The reason I ask is I read it's best to go deep with tren to avoid side effect's.

27g is pretty close to 29g

Sure have.
The depth has very little to do with sides it's about ester length and frequency of injections

The syringe has dead space in the pin
Many times you draw out you can lose some

Cmon guys pls tell me you all know about no dead space syringes......jeezuz

I don't entirely understand what you mean by "The syringe has dead space in the pin".
I am shocked no one has actually even mentioned this......

A low dead space syringe is designed to minimize the amount of fluid that remains in the syringe after use, reducing medication waste and the risk of disease transmission. This type of syringe is particularly beneficial for people who inject drugs, as it helps lower the chances of spreading infections like HIV and hepatitis C

I'm not using a fixed needle low dead space, i'm using a luer lock one where I change needle's out when I draw and inject. I chose the low dead space syringe so I don't waste anything left in the syringe.
These do not appear to be low dead space. If they were they would have a barrel going beyond the plunger. I don't see that in the pics. Either way that would not help with your drawing situation.
Use a smaller gauge needle to draw.
I use a 22ga to draw and go to just over .9 on the syringe. When I stop and pull the plunger back to clear the needle I am at 1ml. If I did not do it this way I would be at almost 1ml lost over the course of the 10ml vial.
Only thing you can do is contact the seller if you think there is an issue after using a couple more vials.
Honestly, test is cheap. Not sure why this is such a huge concern.

This is a low dead space syringe. See the knob on the plunger? I don't see that in your pic.

That is what I am using, when I push the plunger down the knob goes into the luer lock section where the needle is screwed into.

Such a technical post on oil loss 🤣 Can i please send you the 1ml for free so you can finish your cycle.Actually sorry 1.1ml to be exact

You could just stand in the locker room and I could just "accidentally" walk back into the needle.

So have none of you measured exactly what you are getting? Just curious.
Yes, I have. I’ve pulled an entire vial into a 10ml syringe more than once. Which is roughly how they dispense the vials. If it were 10% low you would see it when the vial is new. Especially if you buy more than one.

Take an old needle and try to snap it off. They bend. I’ve never broken one
