Honestly this has been my life for the last 3 years. The only thing that's changed is adding peds in for the first time and joining this EVO family. I'm all in bro
 
This is my first log, I'm brand new to the forum. If you guys need anymore info please let me know. I tried to pair it down a bit because it already seems like an info overload. I track a lot, been trying to optimize my training for a couple years, so info wise, if you need it I probably have it.

Test C 180mg per week

Running RP app 5 days/week for training. HIIT rowing for 40mins on my 2 off days usually. I work on the tools and I work a lot so my caloric burn and step counts get pretty high at work.

Goals - Running first cycle, staying lean throughout and stacking on 10-15lbs over time. Not in a rush, safety and longevity are my higher priorities. Looking to feel good while training haede. Thinking Primo100 is the way to go.

Today will actually be my 2nd shot 100mg test c, 50mg primo100. I'm using 20mg a day of Anavar sublingually. I've been on 180mg/week of test c as a TRT dose for a few months now so my PED dose is pretty low this far.

Members have been reaching out via the log and helping me along the way. I kind of like the community approach. Trying to keep this as scientific and public as possible to maybe help others going forward. I track literally everything and am willing to post any data anyone needs to see.

It would be great to get your thoughts on how I could theoretically progress my cycle if my bloodwork supports it.

Took my 2nd injection of primo last night. Still 100mg test c, 50mg Primo, 20mg anavar pre-workout. Felt very strong again last night when working out. Added weight and reps to most movements. My sleep was minimized by my wife and raging libido, so not to worry lol. All good this far, all measurable health parameters staying stable. No day off weight training yesterday because I'm going out of town this weekend so my training schedule is modified.

Got it, I should be able to make that happen.

My wife cooks for us and I eat what I'm served so I have minimal control over dinner. Protein up is easy, carbs down less so but doable.

I recently started using a dextrose supplement with my protein shakes post workout because I thought I needed more carbs and glycogen post workout on cycle.

I lowered my fat intake a bit per your previous suggestion. Sounds like that's lookn good now.

Ya with the Anavar the pumps are insane. I take 3g of taurine pre workout but I might need to bump it up a bit. On my second set of triceps 2nl days ago the pump was so crazy I supersetted some leg extensions in to try and get some blood going to my lower body lol

It's a very relaxing Hobby.
I'd like too but I just don't have the time, and I suck at it lol.

I work all day, come home eat and do my office work, train, eat dinner, hang out with my wife for an hour or so then sauna and sleep.

I have a small business so work is almost never ending. Some nights I work in between sets.
 
You definitely don't need to be taking a dextrose supplement.

Those are for people who are slamming insulin post-workout.
Thanks, ya it seemed counter intuitive to take all that sugar. I read somewhere it was recommended post workout on cycle but I guess different peds

My Test, Primo, Anavar cycle kicked off this week, but technically it's only been 2 days. Below is my weekly data for sleep, weight, BP, calories. I took some quick pics yesterday right after my workout, so I'm pretty pumped up in the pics. My first pics in the log were under normal conditions.

dont use dextrose, use honey in the future, and drop the dextrose you using.

Had a very high output day at work. Lots of climbing, carrying, and rucking all day. Typically that would affect my workout later pretty negatively but less so now. This is my 5th day weight training in a row and no drop off and performance. Actually still adding weight or reps on some movements. Anavar is the greatest pre-workout ever lol.

Adjusted my macros as @LevButerlov advised. Aiming for 300 protein, 120 fat, 250 carbs. Got pretty close.

Tomorrow will be my 3rd injection day, the beginning of week 2 in my cycle. Sticking with 100mg test 50mg Primo?

The protein is easy. Keeping the carbs down and calories being low as a result is a bit tougher but I trust the system and people advising me.

Just wanted to post something interesting.

My recovery this week has been much better than usual. Stats below.

The really crazy part is I've weight trained 6 days in a row now and put in some pretty high output days at work this week too. Yesterday I hit 10k steps and a lot of them were vertical going up and down a 10ft ladder all day.

Typically after redlining my body like this my recovery would be in the shitter but the stats below say otherwise.

@BeMe I always find it amazing how crazy the body is, it doesn't do what you expect. You would expect yourself to be tired, but you're not. I bet you. You have amazing energy, keep up the good work. Sleep is going to be the key in nutrition as well.

More cardio? Actual dedicated cardio I typically HIIT row 90mins a week.

My heart rate gets up a lot at work, and I intentionally turn some jobs into cardio jobs. Get some zone 2 while working.

Most days I get between 9-10k steps.

Now that the weather is getting better I'm going to be doing a fair amount of mountain biking, couple hours a week probably.

Would I still need more? Is there a number you'd like me aiming for by weeks end?

Ya I was pretty surprised at the number I was still able to put up yesterday. I thought my squat was going to suffer but I still got 6 reps on 3 plates. I was shocked. The Anavar pre-workout is definitely helping

You don't want to end up hurting your shoulder and then you won't be able to train at all.

Yesterday was day 7 in a row of training and still felt good. 3rd injection last night went well. Slept like shit, but that's because of the 3 babies in the house I'm in for the weekend. Still working to get better with my macros. Today will be a recovery day, cardio only.

You don't want to end up hurting your shoulder and then you won't be able to train at all.
Thanks, unfortunately I know that all to well. I had shoulder surgery years ago so my shoulder never lets me forget it lol.

I do a couple warm up exercises with bands before I do any pressing. That's ontop of the actual warm up sets. The bands really work well

@BeMe That's okay, I'm glad you recognize it and now you're gonna work on your deficiencies. There's no rule that you have to do overhead presses.

When I eat bread at lunch it's Ezekiel bread only. Other than that the closest thing I'll get to bread is a whole wheat cracker or wrap on occasion.

My carbs mainly come from fruits, veggies, and rice.

Still out of town with family. Yesterday was an active rest day after 7 days of weight training in a row. I got over 12k steps in hiking and playing with the nieces and nephew. Hit the hot tub for 30 mins and my muscles appreciated that. Dinner was a roast turkey for Easter and I ate just over 400g of Turkey breast. My appetite is definitely up since starting this cycle. Another rest day today in preparation for 5 days in a row next week. Looking forward to getting back in the gym.

@BeMe Bro, this a good one. For sure. I like the different foods and exercises. Make sure you're increasing the red meat, though. I want to see more of that.

Still out of town with family. Yesterday was an active rest day after 7 days of weight training in a row. I got over 12k steps in hiking and playing with the nieces and nephew. Hit the hot tub for 30 mins and my muscles appreciated that. Dinner was a roast turkey for Easter and I ate just over 400g of Turkey breast. My appetite is definitely up since starting this cycle. Another rest day today in preparation for 5 days in a row next week. Looking forward to getting back in the gym.

Weekly Update 2

I just want to take a second to thank the community for all the positivity and advice. I really appreciate all of you. This being my first cycle, my knowledge is pretty limited. I did my best to study and gain as much knowledge as possible but I'm just an average guy who loves to lift. I feel a lot more comfortable having your experience and in many cases, professional expertise, to help guide me along. To take time out of your busy days to help me of all people is really amazing.

I just got back home to from the family cottage, so please excuse the sub-par update. I will add some progress photos tomorrow.

Some key points
Still on 200mg Test C, 100mg Primo100 weekly
20mg Anavar sublingually daily.
My diet is getting more dialed in with my new macro targets.
Sleep has been good.
Training has been incredible, making serious progress. Increasing weight and reps.
Body weight is trending up from 176lbs to start
Recovery is better than pre-cycle
Energy levels and overall well being are excellent

@BeMe turkey and green beans are on point.

and i love the berries. Those are good antioxidants and vitamins. Keep it up.

Another recovery day as I was out of town with the family. I managed 11.8k steps walking my my dogs, doing yard work, and playing with the nieces and nephew. My body is feeling great and I can't wait to see the numbers I can put up in training tonight.

This is a really good update. You like the cinnamon flavored? Protein powder?
It's pretty good. I mainly buy it because it's a bit cheaper than the other flavours and comes in 5 pound tubs lol. My absolute favorite is the ghost peanut butter.
