Yea I considered that when I did the elimination diet but then I felt so weak on no carbs. Not sure what my deal is cuz I can't go no carb or high carb. Just need to run in the middle to feel good.

Wow I went way overboard on my carbs yesterday. Didn't even think about it when I was chowing down on all the rice noodle vermicelli with dinner lol. I did have a very hectic high output day at work so hopefully that helps use them up a bit. My fitness tracker thought I was training for 2 hours during my work day cuz my heart rate and breathing got up so high.

Good thing I had the lightest deload arm day in history cuz I was pretty tired after work.

Tried 3iu GH last night and got some good sleep but I was interrupted by a coughing fit in the middle of the night and a pounding headache. My wife was sick the last 2 days so I guess I caught it. Took some Advil went right back to sleep and I'm ok today. Sucks that it messed up my GH recovery sleep though.

Forgot to screenshot my workout before starting a new mesocycle so it's gone.

Dose 70mg test EOD, 2iu GH

We're back! Deload over and back to real training. Going heavy this time around and man I missed this. Focus this mesocycle is to increase weight each week on most movements and maintain a 6-8 rep range. Some movements will vary a bit. Just making sure I maintain good form with the heavy weights so I don't mess anything up. Gonna take a bit to find my new weights cuz my old records from 5 months ago are way low now lol.

3 RIR this week so it's a good time to do some weight and reps fact finding. Early indications are my numbers are way way up.

Strength is still maintaining but my weight is slip-on down a bit. Getting down to 188lbs the last few days. Thats still up 11lbs from before cycle. I'm almost 7 weeks off cycle now.

Dose 70mg test EOD, 2iu GH

We're back! Deload over and back to real training. Going heavy this time around and man I missed this. good to see you back into heavy work after the deload, that reset always pays off once you push again. running 70mg eod test and 2iu gh is a nice steady setup and the 6-8 rep range with progressive weight jumps will build strength while keeping form tight. using 3 rir this week is smart for testing where the numbers sit and it’s clear they’re trending higher than before. old records from 5 months ago don’t matter now, you’re already setting new baselines.
weight dipping to 188 while still holding strength shows you’re leaning out a bit but keeping size, especially since you’re still up 11 from before cycle. that’s a solid return for 7 weeks off. keep watching food and recovery so the drop doesn’t cut into muscle, but as long as strength climbs you’re in a good place. this meso should set you up with fresh prs across the board. @BeMe
I do recommend you go to around 400 grams of carbs this weekend to boost up the metabolic rate. :D

Ok I'll give it a go. I'll try to eat a whole bunch of extra fruit and veg to get my carbs up. I gotta becareful eating too much grain or starches for carbs cuz it slows me down @LevButlerov

I wouldn't call it a blast. It's my first cycle ever, so I wanted to introduce stuff slowly to see how my body reacted. Started at 200/100 test/primo with 20mg anavar sublingually pre-workout. Upped it to 250/200 after a month. Got blood work a month later, all good, then bumped to 300/250 and added in 200 of NPP. Upped anavar to 30 and added 25mg Proviron daily for the NPP. Did that for a few weeks and felt good then finished off at 300/300/300 for a month and before tapering off for 3 weeks. Been off and cruising off about 7 weeks now. Got some Tren ace in the cupboard for beginning of November.

Loved the NPP add on. I got a very noticeable boost once I hopped on the NPP. My lifts went up by a lot right after I started. I'd run that entire cycle all over again just starting with my final doses and going up a little bit from there next time.

Yeah November will be just Test and Tren so I get a good idea of how the Tren is effecting me. I thought about stacking but I think with Tren I need to be extra careful and I really want to have a clear picture of how my body is responding physically and mentally. I'll probably just keep the test dose I'm running now and introduce the Tren.

You won't regret it. Everyone loves Japanese, Chinese, Korean, or Vietnamese food. They're all pretty universally loved and restaurants are everywhere. Hop on yelp and find one near you with good reviews.

Ya 300mg a week was a real sweet spot. It's what @stevesmi recommended I use from the start and our consult, but I want a little bit lower just to be careful. Should have just started at 300 though. He was right.

I'm going to start the Tren at 140 a week. 20mg ED Tren ace. I'll keep that going for a couple weeks and see how I feel. Then bump up to 210 a week. See again, then 280, then maybe max 350.

I figure with the ace I'll know pretty quick what's up so I can feel my way through it and back off quick if I have too.

I warned my wife about what could happen and she's going to be watching over me.

I had in front squatted in a long time and last time I did was 225 for 5. Blew that way outta the water yesterday. My first set I just ran outta breath.

Feeling very strong still and I'm visibly leaning out a bit. Maybe I'm holding less water now or something.

On a totally separate note, today's my 7th wedding anniversary. Sushi dinner tonight. We've been together for 15 and married for 7. This year I forgot and she remembered so she can hold it over my head for another year. Last year I got her LOL. Two years ago we both forgot haha.

@BeMe front squats are a different beast man. 305 for 5 reps bro?

I just can't figure out a way to put on enough weight without hurting my delts badly. Too much pressure there. I would much prefer front vs back squats but with more than 225 in front squats, i just can't. 225, it's a warm up on the back squat. Maybe i should try elevated heels front squat to keep my back more upright. But like everything else it goes with practice. I just have to start doing it more.

Transformer bar bro. It has a front squat mode but I put it on goblet squat mode to get the weight further out infront and focus on the quads as much as possible. All the benefits with none of the pain to hold you back

Front squats blowing past your old 225 for reps shows how much stronger you are now, even with a little breath catching up. Heavy sets in that 6-8 range fit you well, strength is holding while you lean out. :D

@BeMe oh wait. So it's actually a back squat but you are changing the camber angle from the transformer safety bar to distribute the load as if it was a front squat? Man, I know this bar but I never saw the adjustments from this angle. It is perfectly positioning the load like a front squat... Don't make me spend more money 🤑 🥺😭

And I see that your loadable sleeve is in the second upper hole. I guess it would even be harder if it was at the very bottom (further from the center of gravity)

Ya I switched to reverse lunges for the last 4 weeks to try something different but nawwww. Squats are where it's at. I always squat once a week.

I'll just keep doing variations of squats instead.

Ya that's all I did for 2 years before switching to bodybuilding a little over a year ago. Before it was all powerlifting. Heavy singles, doubles, or triples 90 percent of the time. Then some back down sets of like 5 or 6.

I'm trying the bodybuilding thing for now but once I put some mass on this tiny frame I'll probably switch to a power building style program and have some strength days again.

I tried these things called cotton candy grapes for the first time a couple days ago and I wondered what the hell is that. They look like grapes but they actually taste like cotton candy. It was too sweet, I didn't even like it. The shit they can do to our food is crazy

Got my next bloodwork scheduled for the 27th and my doc is running some extra tests for my GH use. Posting a screenshot of my requisition form so you guys can see all the testing I'm doing.

Nice arm day yesterday. Hopefully this arm focused training cycle yields some gains.

I unintentionally started and experiment on myself when I forgot to take my CBD 2 nights in a row. I slept really well, probably cuz the GH. No trouble falling asleep, which is what I initially started taking CBD for 7 years ago. I've been using CBD non stop since starting, but since I started training I always wondered if maybe it's hurting my gains by blunting the inflammatory reaction from training. The science I read says no...but I always wondered.

So I will not be taking CBD for the next month and I'll see how my sleep goes. I noticed I actually dreamed the last two nights in a row and I wasn't fighting for my life in my dreams which was different than usual. Usually I only dream a couple times a year and when I do I'm in some sort of post apocalyptic world scenario trying to keep myself and my wife alive LOL. Woke up feeling great the last 2 mornings, so maybe I don't need CBD anymore. Time and tracking will be the judge.

70mg EOD with 2iu is a solid setup and good call booking the extra labs to see the GH markers, that’ll give you real feedback instead of guessing. Arm day focus makes sense, if you string a whole phase around it you should notice shape changes.

Interesting on the CBD, sleep quality is a big marker so if you’re dreaming and waking up refreshed that’s a positive sign. You might not need it anymore, especially if recovery feels good without it. Tracking for a month will tell the story, and you’ll see if recovery or inflammation changes at all while GH keeps sleep steady. :D @BeMe

I tried these things called cotton candy grapes for the first time a couple days ago and I wondered what the hell is that. They look like grapes but they actually taste like cotton candy. It was too sweet, I didn't even like it. The shit they can do to our food is crazy

3RIR training week

Loving lifting heavy again in the 6-8 rep ranged. Still got a fair amount of figuring out to do when it comes to my weights and reps now.

I had in front squatted in a long time and last time I did was 225 for 5. Blew that way outta the water yesterday. My first set I just ran outta breath.

Feeling very strong still and I'm visibly leaning out a bit. Maybe I'm holding less water now or something.

On a totally separate note, today's my 7th wedding anniversary. Sushi dinner tonight. We've been together for 15 and married for 7. This year I forgot and she remembered so she can hold it over my head for another year. Last year I got her LOL. Two years ago we both forgot haha.

No I have a private TRT doc. Only powerlifters and athletes work with him. He's fukn brilliant and I'm really lucky to have him. He's a former strong man competitor, Jiu Jitsu purple belt, and heavily credentialed master with all this stuff.

Nope, strictly home gym. I have an electrical contracting company that eats up all my time 24/7. Have to train at home just to manage to train the way I want. I do a 5 day split with cardio so it's tough making that kinda time.

Got a big problem and need some advice.

Yesterday was a really crazy day cuz I made a huge discovery that's very troubling. I maxed out my leg extension last training cycle, I can only fit 235 lb on the sleeve. So I switched to single leg for my heavy 6 to 8 rep training cycle this time around.

I loaded up 120 lb and did eight reps with my left leg with three in the tank. I went to lift it with my right leg and I couldn't even get it up. I've had issues with my right leg over the years, but I had no idea I had this kind of imbalance. I tried 105 lb with my right leg and couldn't get it up. Had to drop to 90 to finally do a set of eight just barely.

The problem I have is at the very beginning of the rep. If I cheated the 120 lb up with my left leg I could perform the extensions with my right leg no problem. It's the bottom part of the range.

I think what I'm going to do is train the same weight on both sides and try and build my right leg up. Then I'm going to start hitting my right leg every other day to try and build up some strength and catch it back up to my left leg.

What do you guys think? I'm open to suggestions. Never dealt with this kind of imbalance before.

Nope, strictly home gym. I have an electrical contracting company that eats up all my time 24/7. Have to train at home just to manage to train the way I want. I do a 5 day split with cardio so it's tough making that kinda time.

@BeMe man training at home is such a game changer. We might be missing some piece of equipment but more often than not, it's a binary play between not having the time to drive to the gym or train at home. Training at home with limited equipment will always win over not going to the gym at all, in my opinion. I have a 12 x 12 section in my office. 80% of the time I train there just because I can train whenever I have the highest energy during the day. Squat rack, different barbells with weights, incline/decline/flat bench, landmine, dip station, pull up bars, up to 100 lbs dumbbells. We can still build a very decent physique at home with about 5k of investment. Plus, I can train naked listening to Taylor Swift if I want to 🤣 I don't give a f*uck. But Slipknot is usually the tunes of choice.

@BeMe I often see imbalance like yours on leg curls. But in leg extension, it's somewhat very interesting to notice such a variance. Do you notice when you squat, if your hips shift a little more to one side or the other ? I filmed myself from the back the other day during squats and my hips shift a little bit on the left side to accommodate the weaker quad. But again I don't think my weaker side is 50% weaker than my stronger side. What I would do instead of leveling the weight down to the weaker leg, I would go in between. If you can do 120 on the strong leg and 80 on the weaker leg, try doing 100 but alternate leg after each rep. Alternating single leg extension. The 2-3 seconds of rest you'll get on the weaker leg should help you keep enough stimulus on the stronger leg while the weaker gains enough strength to keep up with the other. Not sure if I make any sense, but I would not want my stronger leg to drop back so much because of the imbalance. (If you are not injured of course). I would try to find middle ground to have a decent load on it. I do these alternate single leg extension when I want to break a plateau. The seconds of rest after each rep allow me to progressively overload.

Thats amazing that you can train in the office. Wish I could do that. I guess I do in a way cuz my work is like training most days lol.

Ya having a commercial like gym at home would be the dream but there's no reason you can't get an amazing physique with a rack, barbell, dumbbells and some cables.

That sounds like a quad activation issue more than just raw strength, since you can finish the rep once it’s moving. Best play is keep the loads even on both legs so the weaker side has to work, don’t let the left take over. Add in some extra single-leg work for the right like step-ups, split squats, even lighter single-leg extensions with slow controlled starts to build that bottom-range power. Hitting it a little more frequently will help, just keep recovery in mind so you’re not frying the joint. @BeMe

It's been better over the last couple years. Thought I trained away a weakness in there but it's been hiding this whole time and single legs exposed it thankfully.

I'm still gonna keep going with the experiment and see how I do tho. Could be a misreading by my tracker. Once I have a week or two of data I will know better.

Good call sticking to lighter high rep extensions for that right side, that’ll build up control at the bottom without wrecking the joint. If split squats and other compounds are even then it’s definitely just an activation gap showing on extensions.

Sleep trackers can be hit or miss, so if you feel rested that’s what matters most, and dropping CBD might just be what threw off the numbers for a few days. Keep logging it out and you’ll see the pattern clearer. @BeMe though tbh I would bring cbd back in, it's only beneficial.
 
Throw in some one your one sons hooch and other sons ice while your at it. Maybe a custom BM shank too?
