Missed gym yesterday on the back of a quiet night out Monday.
No drugs or alcohol, just movies and pizza.
Breaking my 6 week drought since I left the ex.

Stayed up far too late.

So I've come in pretty fresh today.

Body feels good.

55kg twangs on the press working set was a bit disappointing.
Idk what it is but the 130lbs just feel more comfortable.
Not a single twang, despite being heavier.

Everywhere I go this dude is using the equipment I wanna use.
God is testing me.

I have no idea why this session took as long as it did.

Bloods and heart monitor Friday.
May be some adjustments on the cards.

Little bit of lethargy lately, hence the few days off before and over the weekend.

But I am severely unfit.
My night out was a bit of an eye opener.

I used to vape heavily while I was with my ex.
But I could still fuck for hours.

Haven't vaped or fucked anyone for about 8 weeks.
Basically left her at the start of the cycle.

Despite not vaping in all that time, I was so out of gas after very minimal activities, it was kinda concerning.

So I'll wait for results on Friday before I start arbitrarily adding or changing things.

But yeah could be some adjustments to make as of next week.
Whether that's adjusting dosages, swapping or dropping compounds, adding ancillaries, I'll make that decision based on the results.

Been noticing some mobility restriction in my right shoulder overhead.

I mean I'm tight as fuck anyway, I can't hit any poses at all.
Tried to do a side tricep last week and nearly pulled my shoulder out.

But nah this is a little bit of discomfort.
Pretty sure it's the OHP machine one been using.
My shoulders don't love the military grip.
I'll try the hammer strength next push B day.

And this ladies and gentlemen is exactly why I log.
Other than remembering my pin days and locations.
I can look back over the last few weeks at what I've changed and go ok maybe that's the cause of this.

Probably train tomorrow to make up missed days this week.

Yeah I've previously torn common extensors in both arms.

Years prior to that I'd undergone ulnar nerve entrapment surgery in the left flexors, elbow was never quite the same after that.

So yeah I have to treat them pretty gently as a general rule.

Pendulum squats are a task with these pumps.

The knee is actually supporting a lower foot position.
I like it.
Feels more comfortable than the high position I adopted for hack.

Knees felt good on the press.
Actually pushed real fucken hard on the working set.
Probably had 1RIR at best.
Nearly busted vessels in my brain I'm sure of it.

Fucken unracked the 45° press forgot I still need it for calves.

Been feeling a little soft.
Pulling bloods noticed I'm not as vascular in the forearms.

So much for the bulk.
I'll be happy with a decent recomp by the end of the cycle.

Might also need some wrist curls on top of the wrist rollers.
Maybe some reverse curls.
Don't feel as thick in the forearms as usual.
Just have to be careful.
Tightening up my forearms is when I get myself in trouble with injury.

May be some adjustments on the cards.

My night out was a bit of an eye opener.

Whether that's adjusting dosages, swapping or dropping compounds, adding ancillaries, I'll make that decision based on the results.

Back pumps after RDL are insane.

Pendulum squats are a task with these pumps.

It's not diet because I'm barely in a surplus most days.

I'll be happy with a decent recomp by the end of the cycle.

Might also need some wrist curls on top of the wrist rollers.
Maybe some reverse curls.
Don't feel as thick in the forearms as usual.
Just have to be careful.
Tightening up my forearms is when I get myself in trouble with injury.

Yeah I handle Tren well. I've been as high as 700 previously with no issues except the liver doesn't love it beyond 12 weeks.

Deca just in there at a therapeutic dose to assist with joints. Somewhere between 200-300 is the sweet spot for me.

Haven't been in work for a couple of months.

If I nap through the day it fucks my ability to sleep at night.

I do my best not to, but some days it's just unavoidable.

In terms of the niggles, been working around them forever, if I go in next week and I'm weaker, I'll back it off, but generally I just come back from an off day stronger after a few days between.

MCHC + RDW:
likely due to iron deficiency.

White cell count: not too concerned.

eGFR: again not too concerned, trained prior to test.

Creatinine: supplementing 5-10g creatine a day probably contributed, again not too concerned.

HDL: i thought I was getting enough good fats in my diet, might start supplementing.

Ferritin & iron: a few years ago I got my first iron deficient results.

I think I pulled 40 ferritin and 8 iron back then.

I started supplementing elemental iron and only got iron as high as 14.

Now my ferritin has skyrocketed but I'm iron deficient, I'm just not absorbing iron, so I'm going to follow up with a haematologist, I think it's been long enough trying to fix it with supplementation and dietary intake, this is very likely the #1 cause of my constant fatigue.


Test SHBG and oestradiol: for reference, cruising at 300/200 Test Mast pulled 32 total 1100 free and 202 oestradiol.

I aromatize like a motherfucker.

They LCMS tested oestradiol but not test, so test is gonna be slightly skewed by 200 Deca, they also didn't include free test, but I calculated that myself.

600/600 Test EQ Cyp 93.8 total and 3890 free at 26 oestradiol confirms 2 things.

EQ is in fact very effective at lowering E2.

And @AlphaLabs oils are the fucking goods.


TSH and T4: another likely cause of fatigue, this is slightly concerning as TSH looks to be driving the elevated T4 instead of shutting down because of it. I've had hyperthyroidism in the last couple of years and it fixed itself but in that instance my TSH was low. Probably need to followup with an endo.



What's surprising to me here is that liver markers are all in range.

I've been on Tren for 8 weeks this point, and at testing I'd only had 1 week off the injectible orals preworkout (sdrol, adrol, tren base) and was curious to see how my body was handling it.

Looks like 2g NAC and some milk thistle does the trick.

Overall cholesterol isn't bad.

And really nothing to complain about in haematology for being on 600 EQ, that isn't related to the iron deficiency.

I will lower the EQ to 400 for the rest of the cycle.
26 oestradiol probably a touch too low.

It's hard to tell if I have symptoms because the iron deficiency and the hyperthyroidism are both contributors to fatigue, fatigue extends to lack of motivation, low mood, low libido.

But I have felt a little achy and sore and various stages.

If I can get it in the 60-80 region it's gonna be ideal.

If I've overlooked anything let me know.

It's hard to tell if I have symptoms because the iron deficiency and the hyperthyroidism are both contributors to fatigue, fatigue extends to lack of motivation, low mood, low libido.

But I have felt a little achy and sore and various stages.

If I can get it in the 60-80 region it's gonna be ideal.

If I've overlooked anything let me know.

They are 3 main drivers I need to address.

I have decreased EQ to get E2 up a little and I'll retest in 6 weeks to see where it's at.

Tren I cut in half.

But as long as I'm iron deficient and my T4 is through the roof it's not gonna change much.

I've been here before.

2. I have also been iron deficient before, and experienced hyperthyroidism before.

- both of those conditions lead to exactly the kind of fatigue I've been dealing with lately.

I've dropped my Tren from 400 to 200 just to see if I can breathe a little easier between sets and I've also acquired a Ventolin inhaler on the advice of numerous people to assist with that as well.

But it's not the reason I'm fatigued, this is;

Eat spinach daily.

Not discounting the nutritional benefits of plant based iron sources, but you're looking at no more than 10% absorption of non-heme iron, of maybe 5-10mg daily; if you're eating 200-400g of the stuff.

To put that in perspective, on top of the animal and plant sources I'm already eating daily - spinach included - I was supplementing 100mg elemental iron when those bloods were pulled.
 
I can tell you support supplements definitely make a big difference

Mike's Gym Equipment supplied our hardcore gyms with old school steel since the 80s if I'm not mistaken.

The Doherty's I train at was Mike's Gym until the mid 2000s when Doherty's bought it.

The equipment is still a staple in old school gyms like Doherty's and bodyworld.

I’m impressed that based on all you are taking to have such a good blood work panel considering! I see you take nolva 10mg eod, no other ai ? I was thinking doing something similar as my next cycle will have Eq and not sure how I will respond in regards to my e2 levels at the ratio 3:2 test/eq .

Been a good week actually.
Despite the sleep issues.

Didn't miss a day all week.
Rested yesterday.
Decided to train today.

No real niggles at all.
Minor sensitivity.

But I'm getting closer to being able to hit true mechanical failure on most lifts without having to pull the pin early due to joint stress.

@AlphaLabs deca treating the joints well.

And just training sensibly, listening to the body, working the strength of my weakness to rebuild joint integrity.

Fatigue is what it is.

I've doubled my iron supplementation and added more red meat, but it's gonna take longer than a few days to rectify.

Caught up with a mate I haven't seen since my last cycle and he was genuinely in awe of the difference.

I don't see it.

But I guess that's just the curse.

If it wasn't for the iron deficiency and hyperthyroidism, nothing would be out of range except slightly low eGFR and elevated creatinine.

I've been taking elemental iron tablets for over a year.

The GP recommendation was 6 months when it was 8.
I got it as high as 14.
A year later it's back down to 7.

If it doesn't come up substantially after 6 week retest on double the dose, I'll see a haematologist.

Had it in one side since I was in high school.

I haven't blasted EQ this high before so it was something of an experiment to see how my E2 reacted.

For that reason no AI, I had it on hand just in case, but ran nolva as a backstop regardless.

Was not expecting an oestradiol of 26 bro.

Considering I get +200 when I cruise on 250-300 test.

EQ definitely did the job.

That was 1:1.

After I got the bloods back I dropped it to 3:2.

When I go for a re test to check iron and thyroid I'll assess again and potentially go 1:2.

Adjusted weekly dosage;
600/400/200/200 Test EQ Tren Deca.

Lowered the EQ due to very low E2. See bloods a couple of posts back.

Lowering Tren to see how it affects my fitness but otherwise feel fine.

Leaving deca where it is because this is what I've gauged to be my lowest effective therapeutic dose.
