Knee pain

Interested to know, if anyone had the same issues.

Background is I tore my ACL when I was 16 had it repaired with patella graft from hamstring then a shit rehab (as instructed by surgeon to ride a bike, was not a gym rat back then) went back to playing rugby league again tore it again first run, was told by surgeon he’ll put a fibre graft in there which he did but when I was working I could it feel it popping in and out so it had torn again ( age 18) he told me he won’t operate 3rd time so had to find someone else to do surgery, found a decent surgeon who had to drill
Out the old holes for the acl and put bone grafts in the holes to start again, then did the surgery and proper rehab and haven’t looked back since.

I wanna know if people have had similar experience cos my knee is fully fucked in terms of pain, stability is good, I’ve had to reset my squats and start from just the bar probably once a year and some days I can’t even get leg extensions out.

And I was running about on 1 good knee for about 18 months all up between surgeries so my good knee is worse pain than the repaired knee, if form isn’t perfect on legs it gets stiff and hot and feels a stabbing pain in my kneecap when squatting.

Let me know if anyone is dealing with the same shit I’m 32 now and have trained since I was 19 and been dealing with this pain for a decade.

@Thebigflan welcome back to the EVO family :D
I’ve had clients go through similar situations. Multiple surgeries followed by poor rehab often lead to long-term setbacks like the ones you're describing. Pain in the good knee is common after extended compensation. You should start a LOG journal so we can actually track your progress and give useful feedback. Include your current training split, any cycle details, and how your leg days are structured. Without a proper log, it’s hard for anyone to help you effectively. Mostly just guessing right.
Log will take you 15-20min and 5min to update.

HOW-TO LOG?
  • To really guide you we need more info from you.
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight, height, age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
Please post a Log Journal asap for us

Please click the anabolic forum

top RIGHT, you see: +POST THREAD
click that

in Title: write your cycle name, like> My _____ Cycle Log
___ = the name of your log
example: My Training cycle Log
in body: write your planned cycle or cycle you doing now, your diet, training and we will help you along on your cycle

here are examples of LOG Journals

Not uncommon.

Lots of the lads, when younger, tore their sh&t up playing football (US), soccer (UK) or Aussie Rules Football. Here in South Wales it'd be Rugby.

No1 tip: DO THE FKIN REHAB. ALL of those that did the rehab 100% had a LOT better experience recovering than those that slacked off.

BPC157 + TB500. Look into those from all our sources but especially Umbrella Labs

Knee sleeves and or knee wraps. I have wraps. But I ONLY use these on my top sets. That said I MIGHT advise a LIGHT sleeve for those with issues

Finally a form check or changing exercises. We ALL love the grind but somehow get stuck on doing sh*t which fucks us more than we wanna admit

@Thebigflan i think all of us have had some sort of injury. my advice is yoga. it will help bigtime any injury because it lubes up yoru joints, maximizes flexibility and mobility and also helps encourage recovery/healing

i've had plenty of injuries over the years. but the injuries are the EASY part in life. try having an ex wife who takes your daughter from you twice. the first time when she left me, then the 2nd time when she killed herself @Thebigflan

@Thebigflan I would look into peptides. bPC-157 and tB-500 worked very well for my knee pain!
