I guess why cant you have a forwarding address or reach out to the carrier and inform them you are moving and can you pay to have the package sent to you in FL?
I get delivery is taking a long time and is unreliable but man thats poor planning if you knew you were moving.
Forward your mail and send it to old address. All the suppliers who are trusted will only deliver via mail. "In person" = your risk chances go up.
You can literally go online and have it forwarded to your new address.
As others have said, have the shit forwarded. Or just call it a loss and get more gear sent to your new address.

Talk to your regular mail guy and give him $100 and tell him to pay to FW the mail out of that cash. You’ll be good if you make your case with him... He probably doesn’t even want to know what’s in it really, just tell him whatever.
