You're not going to train until 19th? you should do light weights to keep muscle warm and not tighten up imo before the meet. I always tell powerlifting clients 7 days out from the meet cardio and light weights full body 1 set each muscle group 20 reps, get the blood flowing and less likely for injuries later. @RoidRage69

bench and squats are big boy lifts. throwing heavy weight and doing that many sets is impressive. making it look easy! @RoidRage69

Went in and warmed up the three lifts to 50%. Will most likely do again on Tuesday.

Today is last day for a cheat meal. Starting Monday will be carbs less than 75 grams. Will drop sodium on Wednesday. Weigh in Friday 9 am. Hoping to see if I can drop below 225. Only doing this because the wife has to make weight so I might as well experiment and learn more about it for when I will need to drop a weight class on demand.

Thinking about switching over to anadrol the final 6 days going into the meet. 100mg anadrol should give better strength than 100mg anavar correct?
It could help, but if you're using something steady like anavar, switching before a show is dangerous, maybe the anadrol pumps too much? who knows, its like making changes closer to bodybuilding shows same issue have to be careful. In theory anadrol is better for your goals, but in practice you have to be careful making those changes. @RoidRage69

On meet day I will do 100mg anavar and 100mg anadrol along with 100mg TNE. Will dose the orals 1/2 of total days dose 2 hours before competition and then again right after my last squat attempt. I will be eating about 1000-1200 grams carbs on Friday to fully load along with the higher androgens. I should put on about 10-15 lbs from Friday morning until 9 am Saturday. Lots of sodium and potassium as well as calcium and magnesium will also be consumed.

I will be around 240 after I carb load so I will actually be heavier than when I started this water cut on Monday. Gong to to have around 1200 grams carbs and slam the sodium on Friday after weigh in. Lots of gatoraide and mashed potatoes.

Ok just came back from weighing in. Weighed at 228.2 lbs. lightest I've been in decades. Now it's time to carb load. Had 10'grams glutamine, creatine, and 150 grams carbs from Gatorade and dextrose. Will hane the same three meals every two hours and then move onto mashed potatoes and poke and sushi for a few meals. Hoping to hit 1000 grams carbs before 3 am.
 
I'm more nervous about my wife. I need to get her to be in a position to break a few American records. It's up to me to get her there.

Ok I just wanted to say thanks for all the support going g I to this competition. It always helps when you're feeling beat up. I would like to thank @PSL as well as @~Vision~ for your continued support. Definitely wouldn't be as strong without you guys supplying me with the best gear on the planet. I would say the meet was a success and I learned a lot about how my body reacts to rapid weight loss. I was stronger in April but I was also 20 lbs heavier as well. Getting down to 228 in 3 months was a strength zapper. I basically maintained my strength slightly while losing 20 lbs in the 8 week competition peaking cycle. I think my nerves got the best of me. I was literally about to pass out from being too anxious before each lift. My heart rate was over 150 the entire time I was in line to go on each lift. Way too high. Need to learn how to control my anxiety better. Now at least I got my qualifications for next summer Nationals I have plenty of time to put on some much needed muscle mass from the 18 months of being on deficit over the last 24 months. Will go nice and slow and steady to make sure i don't gain much of any fat. My aprox numbers were

My deadlift flew up like it was a warmup with 606 but lost my grip and actually tore
a calus the last attempt with it. So I Jane the strength just need to work on grip strength. I could lift that weight with straps for 5 reps or was so light. Looking forward to training with different equipment now at a powerlifting gym which also has a belt squat as well as pendulum squat. This will save my shoulders and elbows.

Ok so they about it for now. Did a light lat/delts training today and will do legs tomorrow. Most likely stay away from squats and just do belt squats tomorrow with hip thrusts and reverse hypers.

My goals for next summer if we can get sponsors to help pay for lodging and air fair at nationals will be.

Bench 400+
Deadlift 700+

i know exactly that feeeling. my advice is watch NFL kickers before they kick. or watch a baseball player going up to bat. the good ones go in there with confidence. they take a few deep breaths and they do the same body language type stuff, whatever superstitious thing they do. that will help your anxiety @RoidRage69

@RoidRage69 those are some big goals. 700, 600, and 400 on the big lifts. not many people on this planet can sniff those numbers especially at your lower weight

My deadlift flew up like it was a warmup with 606 but lost my grip and actually tore
a calus the last attempt with it. So I Jane the strength just need to work on grip strength. I could lift that weight with straps for 5 reps or was so light. Looking forward to training with different equipment now at a powerlifting gym which also has a belt squat as well as pendulum squat. This will save my shoulders and elbows.

Ok so they about it for now. Did a light lat/delts training today and will do legs tomorrow. Most likely stay away from squats and just do belt squats tomorrow with hip thrusts and reverse hypers.

My goals for next summer if we can get sponsors to help pay for lodging and air fair at nationals will be.
Squat 600+
Bench 400+
Deadlift 700+

@RoidRage69 squat of 508 raw is not bad at all. pretty strong considering its more then twice your body weight. and deadlift almost 600 is insane
 
Ok I just wanted to say thanks for all the support going g I to this competition. It always helps when you're feeling beat up. I would like to thank @PSL as well as @~Vision~ for your continued support. Definitely wouldn't be as strong without you guys supplying me with the best gear on the planet. I would say the meet was a success and I learned a lot about how my body reacts to rapid weight loss. I was stronger in April but I was also 20 lbs heavier as well. Getting down to 228 in 3 months was a strength zapper. I basically maintained my strength slightly while losing 20 lbs in the 8 week competition peaking cycle. I think my nerves got the best of me. I was literally about to pass out from being too anxious before each lift. My heart rate was over 150 the entire time I was in line to go on each lift. Way too high. Need to learn how to control my anxiety better. Now at least I got my qualifications for next summer Nationals I have plenty of time to put on some much needed muscle mass from the 18 months of being on deficit over the last 24 months. Will go nice and slow and steady to make sure i don't gain much of any fat. My aprox numbers were

Normally when I do close grip bench first I can do sets of 5 with 300 or more. I was pretty fried after 6 sets of regular and wide grip.

hard day but you really pushing through this. :D HGH will be huge for you but 1000mgs sustanon a bit much IMO you can do well with 500 mgs sustanon and 500mgs deca. @RoidRage69
 
I was doing 1000mg+ Sustanon and 700mg Deca on my last cycle. Not going to do less.
Ok don't do less lol I'm all good with high doses.

I think I have been hard on myself lately. I keep forgetting that I am off cycle and the weights should feel extra heavy. I dont think I have lost any strength so that is a plus. I just feel tired going in each day which is expected after going from 2000mg of injectables per week down to 500mg per week for the last 3.5 weeks. I cant wait to get through this period as I am excited to see how my gains go while being in a slight surplus. Looking at just increasing weights on squats and deadlifts at 10 lbs per week and bench at 5 lbs per week. Over a 16 week cycle the gains will be huge. Will most likely do anavar with the test/deca the first 4 weeks as it will take that long for the deca to kick in. The final 6 weeks will use dbol if needed. Ok everyone have a kick ass week and get Strong AF!!!

at some point you will lose strength. that is just part of the game. cycling steroids and getting older. going through sicknesses etc. @RoidRage69

Thats a hell of a decline 2000 into 500 im sure the body will heal itself qnd engery over time will pick back up
