Alright bros, here's my first log regarding my past gear preferences and current (and boring) protocols:
Age: 54
Height: 6'0
Weight: 201
Years training: 38 years
Cycle History: Test, EQ, Deca/NPP, Winny, Var, Tren (
), Primo, Mast, Dbol, Tbol, etc., used in all forms and numerous different amalgamations and cycles, along with obvious ancillaries.
Current TRT protocol: 200mg Test Cyp per week, blasting 1 to 2 cycles each year with either Var, Primo or Mast
That's my history in a nutshell brothas, but as I alluded to, at this point in my life, I try to avoid the harsher stuff and focus primarily on lighter cycles with dialed in nutrition. I've always been keen on good health, but never restricting myself to my epicurean leanings when it comes to fabulous food, savory libations and good fucking times. We've all got one trip this life fellas, and living it to the fullest is and always has been the only way I know. I think I have (had) descent knowledge of the anabolic world, but admittedly I have to periodically re-educate myself on new studies, protocols and products, as well as continue to lean into all the renascent information that comes in and out of popularity. I don't know shit about SARMs other than what I read, so it is an area of interest that I hope to learn more about from all the subject matter experts here, whether used alone or in conjunction with other gear.
I can tell you this brothas, without equivocation. The foundation of my knowledge in this sphere was absolutely started by Ulter way the fuck back, and that was the impetus for my quest for knowledge, in what I've always considered a very misunderstood ideology regarding the positive benefits from gear. There were many other bros that played a big part in that as well, but Ulter was the one I bugged the shit out of with PM after PM after PM with questions. He never seemed to be annoyed, but I'm sure at times he needed a drink to respond. You know that old saying guys......the only dumb question is the one you don't asked!!!!
I truly believe gear is a game changer with enormous benefits when utilized correctly (the emphasis being utilized correctly), which is obviously a very subjective statement. At 54, no one believes me when they discover my age, I still look as fit as many dudes half my age, and my wife says all the time, "there's no way in hell our friends fuck like we still do."
IMO, all this is due to the direct correlation between my belief and usage in performance enhancing products and my never ending quest for longevity and good nutrition.
What I am struggling with now brothas are injuries. Playing sports my whole life, particularly football all through college, and working out since I was 16, the attrition on my body has definitely taking it's toll. I've had 3 knee surgeries, shoulder surgery, torn pec and lower back issues, which have led to my experimentation with peptides. I've had decent to good results, but I've still have to modify workouts to avoid pain, so any feedback on how anyone and everyone is balancing their workouts with pain management is a welcome conversation.
As I mentioned above gents, I'm going to run test, var and mast for my next cycle, but here's the problem. I've got 20ml of tren ace in my honey pot gear bag that literally talks to me EVERY time I open it. Like Pookey said on New Jack City back in the day, "it be callin me man, that shit be callin me"
. I've always loved tren, but I will NEVER run it the way I used to. Consequently, I've been thinking...........is a super low dose run of tren beneficial, say 100 to 150mg/week alongside of test and var/mast? What is the equivalent strength of low dose trend when compared to var, primo, mast, etc.? I've read articles about a low dose tren run, but never got substantive information that would suffice. So, have any of you ever experimented with it, and if so, what were your results? How was your bloodwork. Is it even worth it, or should I just stick to the gear that has less deleterious effects? I guess that was a rhetorical question, but I had to ask!!
