Only the privileged can afford depression. Where I'm from, if you stay in bed, you starve.

You row through what you grow through. Barbell rows 2 sets/275lbs/10-12 reps. 2 sets 245lbs_10-12 reps. 1 set 225lbs/15 reps

5 sets low Yates rows. 2 plates and a dime on each side slow 10-15 reps.

2:30am Flat bench with the 55lb bar 325lbs/3. 285lbs/5

2:30M. 4 sets 110lb dumbelss, low Incline10/12 reps. Since 245lbs is my new 225lbs, 4 sets Incline barbell, 245lbs/10-12 reps.
Doing this myself right now

I'll never go back. That was a fucking retarded thing to say. Some of you are weird af

@Napa1020 nice job on this training. try training though without a belt. what happens is your lower back becomes weaker using it so much. you will notice it when you don't use it

Have you seen what my core looks like? It's as strong and as solid as it could ever get. I only wear it on my more intense set. I had a bad back surgery years ago so it's also preventive maintenance. I don't know why everyone is so focused on the belt lol

@Napa1020 bro guys like us born to be in prison. we too dangerous to be on streets. i can tell just by looking at you that you done hard time. can always tell it by the tension in shoulders. would have guessed 8-12 years minimum. @Napa1020 you can't tell a strong core by looking at someone or how strong they are man. that isn't how it works. those skinny martial artists or pilates chicks have stronger cores then 99% of weight lifters who can bench 400+ or do 100 pound situps. many weight trainers have imbalances that are made worse because they are strong on the outside but their core is way weaker, which means they have a weak core (even if it is stronger then most if that makes sense)

core is internally. if you wear a belt too much it will weaken your core. trust me on that. if you have back problems a belt isn't going to fix that. it actually will make it worse by creating imbalances. and we are focused on belt cause we see you using it every lift, its a fair point to make. do you see other guys wearing belts on all their lifts on here? even the strongest dudes like mobster dont' wear a belt except when they max out only

be a little more open to others opinions, you seem to be too stubborn for a guy your age.

I never wear belts because i was always taught it will weaken the core and you will start relying on the belt alot more then yoy should be, so i just never used one, although i dont max out on any lifts either.

yes that is exactly it. you don't want to wear it on every lift. you can wear it here and there only

I don't know but bodybuilders have been wearing their belts for 100yrs, I think their core as well as mine is stronger than most. Just saying. I squat 500lbs for reps, barbell row 315lbs for reps and incline bench 225lbs over 20 reps. Real reps not that 1-5 garbage and it's been working for me for the past 14yrs.

'its been working for you' as in you can squat 500 pounds, that doesn't have any bearing to how strong your core is. if you can squat 500 pounds and your actual core is much less strong then that in itself is a weak core. re-read what i posted above. as i said i have seen some 140 pound martial artists or 120 pound female pilates chicks who have 10X stronger cores then bodybuilders who can bench 700. I also know plenty of dudes who can bench 500 but can't even row a boat downstreams or hold a plank or have blown out discs cause they have horrible imbalances and they walk around like hunchbacks. if you keep wearing a belt 24/7 during your training you will ruin your posture and hurt your spine over time. you are completely so set in your ways that you are not able to comprehend what i am trying to tell you.

i'm merely making a suggestion that is all. literally every video of you on this forum you are wearing a belt. talk to any ortho sports doctor who works with bodybuilders and they will tell you that isn’t a good idea. Only do it on 10% of your lifts is my humble suggestion. If you stopped using a belt all the time you will notice a difference in what I’m talking about. But hey man it’s ur decision as it’s your body. I won’t even mention it anymore

I appreciate the info. I train everything twice a week. One day is without belt when I'm more in the lighter 20-25 reps range, the other is with a belt when it's a heavy 8-15 rep range. I've been training this way for almost 14 yrs not to mention Im a union flat roofer for almost 20 yrs. My core is strong, stronger than probably most. But tha k you again.
