V.I.P.
EVO Logger
Hey all! I've been lucky enough to be picked up and sponsored by @Gold Standard Labs for the next phase(s) of my build. Im incredibly fortunate to get to work with such a talented and genuine brewer and vendor. This guy lives and breathes his craft and is beyond passionate about producing the absolute best products possible and supporting his team in whatever way he can. I've been running his sus350 for the past 2 months already and its just so smooth!

As some of you may remember, ive been suffering with carpal tunnel since around August/September 2025 and finally got surgery on my right hand on 11 May 2026 to (hopefully) correct it. I've currently been out of the gym for just over 2 weeks and feeling pretty miserable and deflated as a result but its time to start the rehab and recovery journey. I couldnt ask to be working with a better lab than @Gold Standard Labs for this phase before i jump back into a bulk.

Additionally, i've been fortunate enough to also be picked up by @RGSX for vital support, elite pro and elite sleep. I've been running the vital support for approximately 4 weeks already and theres already been MASSIVE changes to my lipid profile and serum chemistry. These guys are the real deal, making incredible supplements to support all aspects of your training and recovery.

Cycle Objective:
Maintain TRT dose and HGH for the next 10 weeks while i recover and focus on rebuilding strength. Aim is to maintain current weight or even lean up a little more. Im currently weighing in around 73kg and i wouldn't mind getting down to 70kg over the next 10 weeks to put me in a great place to start a lean bulk.

My stats at start of cyle:
  • 41 yrs old
  • 5'10
  • ~14% bf

Cycle:
  • 150mg/wk SUS350

  • Sex Hormone Binding Globulin: 11 nmol/L (11-71)
  • Calculated Free Testosterone: 710 pmol/L (255.0-725.0)
  • Oestradiol: 119 pmol/L (<150)

Supps:
BSN Syntha 6 Strawberry WPI
Karbolyn Fuel for Intra-workout
Ghost Hydration Strawberry Kiwi for electrolytes
RGSX Vital Support (cycle support)
RGSX Elite Pro Add-on
RGSX Elite Sleep
Fish Oil - 3g EPA daily
Citrus Bergamot
Multivitamin

Macros:
2050 cals/day
  • 200 protein
  • 200 carbs
  • 50 fats

Training routine:
  • Monday: Push
  • Tuesday: Pull
  • Wednesdy: Legs
  • Thursday: Push
  • Friday: Pull
  • Saturday: Legs
I'll be adding cardio and abs to any of the weights days when time permits.

The attached pic shows my progress over the past year. Unfortunately i've lost some of the definition from the March 2026 pic. Feeling very flat and puffy at the moment even though the scales still read quite low.

Bros, hell yeah, I love your prior log too, very good stuff. This is going to be another fun one. @rustle

First pic day of surgery.
Second pic of wound 7 days post op. Pretty happy with the size of the wound compared to others I've seen.

Today (2 weeks post-op) I have my follow up with the surgeon to hopefully get the all clear.

In general though, it feels no different to before surgery so far. I still have limited feeling in my fingertips of middle finger. I've been advised that could take months to return, if it does at all.
Mobility is good. Full finger compression/expansion is possible. Grip strength is getting better but still well below normal, pre-op levels.

Amazing job on this layout. @rustle and the training routine is fantastic. I love push, pull, and legs and then rotating them back in.

Stitches came out today. Everything looks pretty good. Just the scab that remains down the middle, which will come off in good time. Im really happy with the size of the wound. Very small compared to others ive seen. Should mean a faster recovery i suppose.

The surgeon said it can take 30-40 for full feeling to come back to my middle finger. Thats usually the last to come good. But he did say that there is a chance the nerve damage was so bad that it might never fully recover.

Best case: Full recovery
Worst case: effectively maintain the status quo with what ive been dealing with for the past 8 months.

@rustle I think that your goals are very good and you'll definitely have a lot of success with it. I understand you're not happy with the way you look. I don't think any of us are. Just keep pushing and things will improve.

I'd be interested in hearing how that went, the rehab and recovery
Will be keeping the log updated with how the recovery progresses. I'm hoping by about 5 weeks post-op that I'll be back to near normal working set weights, but I'm not going to push it if I'm not.

Thanks mate. It's been a rollercoaster year. Hoping I can still achieve some goals during this recovery phase.
the gear looks fantastic to me. i'm glad you are getting your hands on top quality gear @rustle
Without a doubt @Gold Standard Labs is the best in the business. It's not just the gear though, he's just an incredibly genuine person. Treats his team like family and honestly wants the absolute best for everyone he deals with.
@rustle glad to see you got another log up man. Hope all has been well with you and yours. I’ll be following along!
Thanks mate.

Wednesday 27th May 2026:

Training (8:45pm):

First real attempt back in the gym tonight. Just testing the waters with what exercises i can comfortably do.
Pec Dec ✅
Cable crossovers ✅
Rope Tricep Pushdown ✅
Tricep Kickbacks ✅
Hammer Curls ✅
Behind the back cable curl ✅
Lat Raises ✅
Reverse Pec Dec ✅
All Machine Leg Exercises ✅

Any kind of dumbell press ❌
Squats ❌

General Health and Wellbeing:
Scar on the hand is healing really well. Im very pleased with how it LOOKS at the moment. From a feel perspective, its still too soon to load weight onto that hand. Grip strength is low and any large weight still causes pain and discomfort at the wound site and also that padded area of the hand under the thumb.
Training at the gym was taken VERY easy. Low weight, high volume jus to get back into the rhythm of things.
From a mental side of things.... i NEEDED this. Ive been pretty miserable the last 2 weeks being unable to train at all. Just to be able to get in there tonight and get a little pump has made me feel so much better. I was smiling when i came into the house after the session and my wife couldnt understand why. I guess it cannot be overstated just how much of an impact training can have on both your physical and emotional wellbeing.

happy to hear you're healing well done :D getting back to training is a win, add cardio

Wound continues to heal well. Continuing with my rehab exercises and focussing on mobility. Massaging vitamin E oil on the wound regularly. Dr advises massaging the site helps to break down the scar tissue.

Can't wait for this recovery phase to be over though. Have my next blood work for my TRT due on 20th July. Hoping all will be good by then so I can get back on cycle and putting more of the @Gold Standard Labs products to the test!

Friday 29th May 2026:

Training (8:15pm):

Continue to test out additional exercises tonight. Only using 50-75% of regular weight while i test out grip strength, mobility and pain thresholds.

Machine Rows ✅
Close Reverse Grip Lat Pulldowns ✅
Cable Lat Raises ✅
DB Shoulder Press ✅/ ❌ - VERY light weight. Still some pain from DBs pressing on the wound/padded area below thumb
Face Pulls ✅
Upright Rows ❌
Behind the back cable curl ✅
Rope Hammer Curls ✅
Reverse Pec Dec ✅

General Health and Wellbeing:
Scar continues to heal really well. Continuing to rub vitamin E oil on the scar and give regular massages to break down scar tissue. Keeping my rehab exercises going.

Still taking training VERY easy. Low weight, high volume jus to get back into the rhythm of things.

Currently eating in a deficit of about 300 cals/day while number of training days and intensity are reduced from normal. Feeling pretty good.
Sus350 from @Gold Standard Labs continues to go in smoothly. Amazing quality gear from an amazing lab!

Sleep issues have been resolved since i got prescribed medicinal cannabis a few months back. i have half a 40mg gummie each night 30mins before bed and that, combined with @RGSX @RegenexPharma Elite Sleep has me sleeping through the night for a fairly consistent 7-8hrs sleep.

Additionally at the end of my last log, my blood work showed a severe iron deficiency. Ive been supplementing with iron biglycinate for the 1.5 months to try bring it back up. Will retest at the end of this recovery log to see where i've got to.

71.7kg, already almost at my target during this recovery phase. If things keep going they way they are i'll be down in the mid to high 60s by the time this log is complete. im still carrying this little fat pouch around my belly button that doesnt want to go away just yet.

Training (8:15pm):

DB Incline Press: 40kg x 12, 40kg x 12, 60kg x 10
Pec Deck: 61kg x 12, 61kg x 12, 103kg x 6
Cable Fly: 11.25kg x 12, 11.25kg x 12, 18.75kg x 10
DB Shoulder Press: 12.5kg x 12, 20kg x 12, 25kg x 6 (could push more but pain prevented going further)
DB Lateral Raise: 10kg x 12, 10kg x 12, 12.5kg x 10
Tricep Rope Pushdown: 12.5kg x 12, 17.5kg x 12, 25kg x 9
Overhead Tricep Extension: 12.5kg x 12, 12.5kg x 12, 21.25kg x 7
Tricep Kickback: 5kg x 12, 5kg x 12, 10kg x 8

General Health and Wellbeing:
Scar continues to heal really well. Continuing to rub vitamin E oil on the scar and give regular massages to break down scar tissue. Keeping my rehab exercises going. Hitting the tender areas and scar tissue with a massage gun to help.

Training session was good, still keeping weights light but able to still push something which is good. At this rate i think it'll probably be anotheer 2-3 weeks before i can exercise pain free and then start loading the weights up more.

Sleep last night was solid. Slept from 11pm till 7am and then snoozed again until 8:45am.

Some improvement in how much weight i can use on these exercises compared to last week. Still some pain on some exercises so working within those limits.

Got about 7.5hr solid sleep last night. No multiple wake-ups. a testament to @RGSX elite sleep and my prescribed THC gummies.
Going to start easing up on the iron supplementation now. Stools are becoming harder and less frequent.
