Weight seems to be holding still. It is hot in Texas and I am drink much more in fluids. Thinking I'm retaining water. Finally got around to hair grooming. Had not done a body shave since July 16. It's nice to see vascularity and details. Much more pop when you are trimmed. I just use body hair trimmers. I have 5 or 6 of them. It take some time to get it done. Does not help coming in hot and sweaty and cooling off before I get to it.

Will be on stage in 2 weeks!

It is hot in Texas. Feeling low energy. Woke up this morning and really just wanted to stay in bed. But, I l know my show is in 2 weeks and I am going to do my best to bring my best package to stage. So, I get up and go. Noticing, I do feel winded towards the end of the work out. Also, the outdoor walking is brutal this time of year. Less of a weight drop today as I am not fasting Tues-Thurs

As stated, I am hoping my weight range currently 173-179 drops to 170-176. That's all I am looking for. I want to come into the show and do nothing weird. As I run out of compounds, I will just stop them. I do have a dose of Semaglutide left. Honestly, it has not been effective for me.
I felt a little satiation but not enough. Next year, I would like to try trizepatide. My weight loss is more an effect of my step count then the peptide. I struggle to lose weight. Last year and this year for the first show, I used lasix, walking, and starving to drop my weight to make the weight cutoff. I was closer last year on the second show, but still did the same. This year I will be the weight so my carbs and food should just be normal. I should look normal like I'm going to the gym but just drier. Carbing up for me is challenging as I get a watery mid-section. I also bloat with distention in front poses. It's best for me to wake up empty and just sip water or chew on a few ice cubes to stage.

I need to do some hair grooming. Hope to do it tomorrow. I'll post pics during the weekend.

Monday
Same steps and light pump workout. Same food. Evening dinner something easy on the stomach.

Tuesday
AM Shaving, protein shakes am, normal water as I would do today. Just plan on weighing in 4-6. Eat dinner at hotel. Chicken and sweet potato.
PM Spray Tan
Dry cereal, less water after 6 pm. Thinking I may still take a half lasix on Tues-Wed evening.

Wed
AM Spray Tan
AM Compete with just sipping water
Late afternoon Same chicken/sweet potato lunch around 4pm
Evening show / sipping water after returning to room

Thurs
AM Compete with just sipping water
Late afternoon chicken/sweet potato lunch around 4pm
Late afternoon some room for snack bars / sweeter treats.
Evening show / All done Drink tons of water with electrolyte powders

You going to start doing cardio indoors in air conditioning so your body doesn't stress so hard going into the show? I would think your body is losing too much water sweating each day.
Not going to change any of the workouts much all the way up to Monday before Tuesday travel day. I sweat so be it. I will taper the Sat/Sun/Mon workouts to be more pump work outs. Single plate lifts.

My reasoning is I like how I look in the mirror the next day. Don't change anything or do anything drastic just come in as I am.

I do feel like I look better than the earlier show. I also think I am matching my condition from last year. I'm not sure that I am exceeding it, but that is just me not being complacent.

@PrinceDaddy last week to cut, I would actually stop the EQ as well IMO so you can get thinner blood up to the show, and start doing natural diuretics :)

Another day to grind. My Saturday workout seems to be flaming out. I just feel like I am dragging. I get it done. Less weight, less reps, but to me something is better than nothing. One week out, I suppose some of it is just being so close yet so far. Just the constant grind and workout start taking a toll. I like how I look and have progressed. I wish it was cooler here in Texas. I do feel like trying to peak for a show with 100+ temps beats you up even if you are working out in A/C.

This is one more week to may lose 2-3 lbs of fat. So have to take advantage. Stay the course and continue the grind. Since this is the last show, my brain is starting to think off season. My brain is thinking of the food I will order after the last show. I have not had pizza since Feb. So, I've staying in my diet lane over the past 5 or so months. Now knowing its just a few day till the restrictions are lifted. Trying not to order anything and just wait till I leave.

you're very close to the show, you have to push in the fasting and cardio so close to show you can drop a few lbs easy with your dedication :)

I must not be working out hard enough. 3 days of fasting and no ketosis. I am a bit beat up. Just doing something with low energy. Could be the grind or the heat. I just keep moving forward. I like my look, you can always be leaner, but I see good conditioning coming in. Today my serratus seemed to really be detailed and popping. With this week, I'm hoping to drop another 1-3 lbs of fat before I depart for the show. Just have to stay the course. Hoping to wake up under 176 sometime towards the end of the week. Tomorrow is another fasting day with back attack.

I took my last dose of peptides today Semaglutide and BPC-157. I don't feel like it did much for me. It is funny talking to others at the gym who are using Semaglutide. They usually are losing weight within 2-3 weeks. Giving it some thought, I am on a cutting body builder diet. I am eating high protein, healthy fat, high fiber, and low carb foods. There are some domino foods in there, but for the part it is healthy satiating food. Talking to my Italian friend who eats pastas and breads. It seemed to help him reduce appetite. I would imagine if you are eating a wide open diet or typical American diet it may be more effective as an appetite suppressant.

I am sure I will be posting more pics since it is looking better every day.

@PrinceDaddy how are you checking ketosis? can you please share a pic of the ketone strips :) seems 3 days of fasting you should be in ketogenic state 100%
 
It's not 3 straight days. It is 12 to 14 hour fasts.
@PrinceDaddy anything under 16-18 hours doesnt hit ketogenic state, thats why you not in ketosis. You should try doing 36-48 hour fasts before the show do at least 1 will help you melt the last 1-2lbs off the back. :)

It is an interesting tool to see if you are in Ketosis. Also, being in low glucose state means you should be ready for nutrient absorption.

Just grind!!!!

I don't want to change much for this show. I feel like do go catabolic after 24 hours. I would like to try it. Just going to coast into this one. Thanks!
Of course, I am fasting and just drinking water. I should try sticking a pure keto diet of just protein and fat for 3 days. The highest I have seen my ketones is 1.0.
 
Surgery, lotion, collagen, time, being fuller and not flat or carb depleted. Staying lean in off season. Everyone struggles with it.
Yeah I'm just trying to figure out what to do when I get leaner and all this loose skin is going to be hanging off me. I can already see it starting. GH I understand helps tighten up the skin and make it more elastic. I do take collagen everyday.

yes this is a good glucose meter, quality too but many guys I've worked with are scared to get blood from finger, ironic right? they pin steroids but scared of daily blood test ;) haha

Another day in the books. Still very hot. No fasting today so the weight stayed up. Weight seems to be holding.

One week out now. Mind is playing tricks with you. One minute. Look at how lean i am, look at the new detail. Other times I could still be leaner. i can still pinch fat. Weight is not dropping uh oh.

Stay consistent ... stay the course. good things should happen.

Grinding. Weight seems to be holding steady. Should have no problem making target weight, Would love to be under 176, but my body looks like it is fighting it. Did 225 presses today. I do a similar work out on Sunday but with more volume and variety. It's likely that Sun and Monday are going to be much lighter pump work outs. @ 135. It's starting to get to the point where this is the last time I will be doing this for this prep type of situations. Kind of exciting.

Cooler day today as we only got to 96 or so. It actually does feel much cooler especially compared to Monday's 106. Still doing a lot of walking cardio. Had ground turkey for dinner today.

I tried the hanging leg lift with the bar behind the back. Did not like the feel of the bar behind my back. I also did the flat bench with your butt hanging off the end. It is interesting getting the pelvis to tilt for the movement. I did feel it better. Almost wish I had seen this a few weeks earlier to see if it would have helped my tighten up some more.

Tomorrow is a long fasting day. I begin at midnight tonight. I am getting blood work tomorrow. This is more informative than anything as I am really in the final stretch and just seeing how things look. Today was my last injection before the show. Finished my Masteron/EQ with this injection.
Next Saturday after the show, I will be back to my Test Cyp 200 weekly TRT dose. Of course, I will still have some of my contest compounds in the system. They will work themselves out over the next 4 weeks.

Hot day in Texas, a little cooler in the AM, but around 100 in the afternoon. Getting my step count in. Show is getting close. I'm going to be coasting in. I was hoping to wake up under 176. Not sure that will happen. My weight range seems to be 172-180, so should not be difficult to weigh in at 176.

Trying to be excited, but not quite there yet. Just trying to coast into next week. Just stay the course.

Tomorrow is a long fasting day. I begin at midnight tonight. I am getting blood work tomorrow. This is more informative than anything as I am really in the final stretch and just seeing how things look. Today was my last injection before the show. Finished my Masteron/EQ with this injection.
Next Saturday after the show, I will be back to my Test Cyp 200 weekly TRT dose. Of course, I will still have some of my contest compounds in the system. They will work themselves out over the next 4 weeks.

Hot day in Texas, a little cooler in the AM, but around 100 in the afternoon. Getting my step count in. Show is getting close. I'm going to be coasting in. I was hoping to wake up under 176. Not sure that will happen. My weight range seems to be 172-180, so should not be difficult to weigh in at 176.

Trying to be excited, but not quite there yet. Just trying to coast into next week. Just stay the course.
@PrinceDaddy show is close, next sat, you can fast at least 36 hours, can you pull this off? would tighten you up before the show. You can fill up after.
Masteron IMO you should stay on it, you will stay harder before the show, in fact masteron is the 1 thing I would always recommend preshow.

Today was a longer fasting day. Blood work this morning so I was fasted from previous evening to 6PM today. Roughly 20 hours or so. I thought we be in ketosis, but not so much. Next 3 days are fasting days with AM protein drink and pm dinner. So, roughly 12-14 hour fast each day.
Tomorrow should be my normal high volume leg day. Just stay the course.

Another hot day in Texas High of 103 or so. Got my step count in. Much sweating. Excitement is building, I am almost there.

yes this is a good glucose meter, quality too but many guys I've worked with are scared to get blood from finger, ironic right? they pin steroids but scared of daily blood test ;) haha
You serious afraid of a finger prick ? I don't care it's all needed one needle is no different than the next insert done deal lol.

I finally woke up under 176. Yippee. I like the mirror conditioning. There's not much more I can do this week. Just stay the course and let's see what happens. I do think since I sleep in on Saturday/Sunday, I end up losing some weight due to inflammation. M-F I get up at 4AM. Sleep around 9-10.
Not enough sleep. I think I catch up Sat/Sun. My body works out the inflammation and water retention.

Did not push too hard in the gym today. Mostly machines with heavy weight, low risk of injury. Starting to get more excited about the upcoming week. Laid out my pill cases for this week. No more injections as I finished everything. Last set of orals on Thursday AM, then all done. I will be on stage this upcoming week on Wed/Thu.
