macros are very nice today with low carbs, you have energy? @toddthelineman

Noticed you're injecting serostim into the love handles, don't do that, try lower abs or pin shoulders. Love handles will reatain too much water this way.

i'm very impressed with your supplement list. and the macros look strong. 440g of protein is the highest iv'e seen today!

Got it! I never would have guessed that. I was just looking for a spot that had some thicker skin that wasn’t already being pinned regularly

Yes, I’m full of energy. I don’t really need carbs for energy, it’s just cravings really. I would have to re-adapt for a week tops if I wanted to go totally zero carb again. I just don’t feel the need to do that. I’m not having any arthritis flares or ibs or any of the bad brain fog I used to get.

@toddthelineman
I’m not too sure I’m getting all that much out of it, but it’s pretty normal for me to eat like that. I just wasn’t super consistent until I was logging. Maybe I’m recomping a liiiiittle, but I don’t think most people get much leaner than I already am without going the extra mile. Idk. I’ve never tried to do that. But my recovery and progressive strength training has been good this whole time. My nagging injuries are improving or totally dormant. This log and the things I’m doing in it and the help all of you have given me has been some of the best effects I’ve gotten in these last six or seven years of self improvement or whatever it is I’m doing.

But today and tomorrow I’m just going to relax. I’m traveling tomorrow and competing in a tournament. I’m not in the least bit worried about what I’m going to eat or anything. I enjoy meal prepping and I enjoy the food I make a lot. But my routine to do all that is out the window. Not going to worry about it. I’m Gonna eat like a bear in a dumpster hahaha

The fadogia is new right?

What's the thinking behind that? I remember running that stuff before I was on TRT to try and boost my test naturally. Felt like it really worked and I remember having to cycle it.

Well, I stopped taking hCG, and I just am not comfortable having smaller balls. I don’t like them going places where they don’t normally go.I used it before too. I had like half a bottle laying around so I just started taking it.

Really? I found when hoping on TRT my balls were a better size. More aerodynamic and less likely to get injured... especially when riding my motorcycles or mountain bikes lol

@toddthelineman quality work man

Really? I found when hoping on TRT my balls were a better size. More aerodynamic and less likely to get injured... especially when riding my motorcycles or mountain bikes lol
Right on man hahaha. I actually did hit my balls in rough water when I was barefooting last weekend. That sucked a lot and wouldn’t have happened if I was smaller than grapes and pulled into my pelvis. I just can’t get used to that. I used hcg ever since my first pin. Figured I’d come off eventually and I heard hcg can help you recover faster if you used it on cycle. I think it’s five years later now. My e2 was like 70 and the guys on here encouraged me to get it down, so I lowered my dose, stopped the hcg, and I’m taking 6.25 mg aromasin eod. I’ll have to get bloods again. My balls started aching about a week after stopping hcg. That happened before when I ran out and was waiting for international shipping. Then they ache again when they plump back up. I do like hcg. I’m pretty sure I was feeling better on it than off and others have said that too. Sex is better imo. Smaller loads are not the worst thing. I was always used to shooting big ones so it’s a psychological thing for me

I think I do eat that much sometimes. I’ve been consciously trying not to. I don’t know if Ira really harming me. Just trying to adapt to a more traditional way of building lean muscle. Do what works, right?

I'm doubting 400 grams of fat but maybe you're hardcore :D
Yeah I was just glancing through MFP and there are days I was in the mid 200s. And that’s me avoiding fat. Low fat cottage cheese, non fat yogurt, etc. I never used to buy that stuff. I used to eat whole salamis and boxes of precooked bacon daily, and still eat pounds of fatty meat after work, and meant like half a stick of butter into my scrambled eggs. There’s no telling how much fat I ate as a carnivore. Huge amounts to meet my caloric need with no carbs at all.

If you're doing this with low carbs, it's perfect :D

I may ultimately do that. I haven’t decided. As I have more time and hopefully money I will probably get some heart imaging to see what kind of damage I’ve done to myself. Then I’ll make a plan and get more imaging and see what happens

If you're low carbs and in ketosis there is no damage. @toddthelineman you have an active job and you train, you're burning off the ketones.

Nice work

Took a while to load pictures from yesterday.

Strangely, I’ve sort of lost my appetite. And some motivation. Most likely the heat, lack of weight training, and a lot of work stress. All of that will be improving, so hopefully my appetite comes back.

Going to a blood drive tomorrow, then considering more bloodwork and then stepping on the gas a bit

Bro skip the planks...you'd be better off working the yoga back in like you wanted.

No offence to anyone who likes them, but planks are useless and a time suck lol.

If you REALLY love planking then add some movement to it.

Get a dumbbell and do pull through planks instead of side plank.

Or tie a band to something and do plank banded row instead of standard planks. Less time and you can progessively overload your training each time like all your other movements.

Give some blood and add mk677 nutrobal 10mgs before bed. @toddthelineman and btw always heat cuts appetite.

So I always do planks when I’m not climbing a lot of poles. It’sa very functional thing for me. When you’re climbing a lot, you’re either leaning back or to the side for sometimes several minutes while doing something tedious or you’re pulling or lifting something heavy. I’m currently on an all underground job, so when I get back in the air, if I can’t use a bucket, my obliques will be screeeeaaaaming. It can be pretty intense, a lot of new apprentices can’t believe that it hurts that bad and they think something is wrong. My union buddies will climb a max of four poles a day, but usually they will throw an army at a job and only climb one a day per guy. I’ll hit 30 a day myself easy, and if the work is right I’ve gone over 100 poles in one day for back to back days. I’ve got two river crossings coming up where I’ll be on four poles for at maybe an hour each. Leaning back and to the side the whole time. I’ve definitely found planks useful for keeping strong when I’m not climbing. A lot of ab work kills my back. Anything that overuses my hip flexors cripples me.

I’m actually surprised you don’t like planks. It’s only a few minutes🤔

If they work for you then that's great bro. Anything to help relieve the pain and stress.

As an exercise planks are pretty useless unless you're new to training or something like that. A long light weight isometric movement doesn't really accomplish all that much at the end of the day. You don't see anyone doing push up holds instead of actual pushups right. You can accomplish the same thing and more by adding some movement and weight progression to it. Your situation is totally dif tho cuz ur work is an isometric the other way so you're trying to balance things out. I get it

Ya I'm thinking more strength building but what you're aiming for is more prehab rehab.

Btw what's a chicken tenderloin?? I didn't know chickens had tenderloins lol. I like beef and pork tenderloin so I'm curious about the chicken tenderloin and how you're getting so much of it?

I figure they are just chicken breast trimmings. Just cheap, lean protein. Like $7 for three pounds. I thaw them, season with a little salt garlic pepper, throw the whole bag in a wok and put the whole thing I a container and just eat them a little at a time like every time I get in and out of the truck. Or I bring them to ski practice with me and in between sets I eat a mouthful. Whenever all my stuff is over I finish it all in one sitting and sometimes if I can’t get it down I add a tiny bit of bbq sauce. Then I can eat it all easy. I e also marinated them in Jamaican jerk, but it hasn’t been all that good

Pretty cool. Never heard of that before but I'm definitely gonna check it out on the next shopping run. I'm burning through 2kg of chicken breasts every 3 days and that's just for meal prepping my extra meal after work. This could be a very helpful hack. Thanks bro

I definitely got my ability to eat absurd amounts of meat from being carnivore I was traveling back then so I would usually fast while working and then just absolutely gorge myself on fatty meat at night.

Chicken feels very light. I need it to be juicy and seasoned or it’s not palatable. I can’t make myself do it. Now that I’m eating plants and protein powders and bars, it’s changed my palette and also competing for space in my stomach, so it’s much easier to eat a little at a time especially while I’m busy. And almost every night I think I’m not hungry and too tired to eat and as some as I lay down I start getting really really hungry.

When I was a drinker I was skinny but I think I had insulin issues and I was ravenous all the time. I’d eat until I was sick almost and still feel hungry mentally. I’m not tooo sure that even my current appetite is totally a healthy thing. I really do stay moving and exerting myself a lot, but I know I’m not the only human who gets up and gets moving and stays moving and working hard stub up to sun down. It’s not common but it certainly used to be. I eat like I’m 300 pounds. I’ve seen one log with a guy eating big but he’s 6’5” and pretty jacked on a big cycle.

I’m on just 135 mg a week and losing weight. I need to settle in and stop changing things, but I want to turn up the dial soon because I’m looking for a strength advantage like this summer. Now

Like everyone says, listen to your body. You seem really in tune with yourself so just go with it. And ya you are a bit of a mad scientist lol. Maybe settling in for a bit once you feel right is the way to go.

Well. I was lost thawing out my chicken today and realized that every day I logged chicken tenderloins as two pounds, I was eating three pounds. So I probably cracked 500g of protein yesterday by accident lol

@toddthelineman I find your diet very interesting, high protein and you're very steady always. And the chicken is the best cheap protein, always high protein and easy on the wallet. Thats why most bodybuilding is chicken+rice LOL cheapest and most filling protein source. :D
hows your shoulder feel?

Get that Therabar going too. The real problem is once tendonitis flares up you gotta give it a bit of a break to heal but with the kinda work we do it never gets that break.

Bpc and TB are lifesavers for keeping you working and healing at the same time.

@toddthelineman 465g protein is A LOT
and you are getting it in with only 3100 calories
so big macros on protein i would guess like 65% protein macros by my math?

Yeah that day was kind of a fluke. I wasn’t very hungry, but the chicken was good. I actually ate three pounds instead of two(which is what I logged) so I ate more protein and calories than I thought

make sure its high quality chicken. low quality is a lot of polyunsaturated fats clogs up your heart

Honestly, it’s the cheapest chicken at the store. I used to buy farm chickens but they’re like $40 for a whole chicken, and chicken is just not very satisfying for me. In my mind, the very lean cuts of cheap chicken maybe aren’t too bad to save a little money and switch it up once or twice a week.

But you’re absolutely right. When I ate nothing but beef direct from a regenerative farm I was very obviously much healthier than I had ever been. My skin was so perfect. I had a huge mole dry up and flake off. That place is so expensive now it’s ridiculous. $25/ pound for bulk beef. I would be spending like $1000/week to eat like that today

Good looking out. I don’t think I ever did get a stomach ache from it, I would hate that. I’ve been drinking it once in the evening with my supplements. Washing down the handful of pills. It’s supposed to be good for blood sugar and blood pressure. I cold brew it and I love the taste

@toddthelineman Like the supplements but jealous of serostim :)
I had a poor experience with blue tops and blood pressure, carpal tunnel, water retention. I didn’t like it. The only issues I’ve had with medical rHGH is price and availability. Oh and letters from customs. I don’t care for that much lol. But the sleep and recovery is so good and so badly needed for me.

That reminds me, I better order more or I’ll lapse🙂

@toddthelineman bros you looking solid
8 hour straight sleep
that something very good!

This was the main thing. The source I have told me $800 and availability if few and far between. Currently running Pharmaq at 3IU and thinking about bumping to 4 to see if I get the improved sleep. As of now my sleep if no different than when I started GH 3 months ago.

Mmmm. And you’re a really tall, big dude right? I wonder if that would mean you need more. That would suck. Serostim is basically a Mercedes payment. Or child support. Maybe not worth it🤷‍♂️

I'am a short fat dude :D 5'9" 185.

You right on the payment, hell my F250 payment was cheaper than that.

So 4iu of what you’re taking has no noticeable effects? Or just no improved sleep? I tried a few of the different rHGHs like norditropin and genotropin and a couple others. They all were good but one genotropin pen didn’t seem to do much at all. For what I’m doing, I’m sure I don’t need the absolute best most expensive stuff, I just need something that isn’t BS and possibly dangerous

Haven't tried 4IU, I know at 3 there is no improved sleep. I will bump it up to 4 next week and run that for a couple of months to see.

Idk if the bpc is really working, but I’m injecting it near where my pain is, and it hasn’t been a problem at all. I was injecting it in my lower bicep, and never had a problem until someone mentioned it hahaha. Then my arm jumped pretty good when in pinned, but it was ok after. It’s just a 30g and I’m not going very deep.

That's what you need, but make sure you get it from umbrella labs. I've seen too many non-usa made peptides have issues.
USA made only please @toddthelineman

I ordered some. I also got some GW and some mk677. But I’m wondering, is mk something you can take as needed? That would be ideal for me. Some days I’m already so hungry it’s very distracting and leads to bad choices. I just need a little boost for days that I’m not so hungry. If I’m not active I might not eat at all without forcing myself. It doesn’t happen often. Usually it’s a mood thing

Some lethargy, low mood, lack of energy happening. Appetite not as high as usual.

I would be spending like $1000/week to eat like that today
yeah a cardiologist taught me that. bodybuilders eat so much low quality chicken that they end up with blogged arteries and blood clots. its not a direct cause but it certainly increases it
the fast food chicken is the worst but the low quality chicken and eggs you are talking about aren't much better

always go for the highest quality where the chickens are fed a natural diet and getting sun or you are wasting your time

yes it costs more because you need more land to raise chickens like that

Hopefully I’ll have my own chickens by next year

it may or may not help. but it does speed up recovery.
if you keep pounding then you will just keep injuring it

Yeah, it’s tough. It’s not baaaad and it’s gotten slightly better. But this is the season for my sport. My team needs me. Two more tournaments and many more shows and practices. I’m right handed so day to day I can let it rest, but it’s the hand I hold everything with including my ski handle. So I’m doing everything I can and hoping for the best

that is good that your team needs you
but in the end one thing i have learned is these teammates and friends will telll you to push through an injury. it isn't their body

Good looking out. I don’t think I ever did get a stomach ache from it, I would hate that. I’ve been drinking it once in the evening with my supplements. Washing down the handful of pills. It’s supposed to be good for blood sugar and blood pressure. I cold brew it and I love the taste
sounds good !

Well I also performed in a water ski show, but I never fell so I didn’t have to run or swim, but I was for sure exerting myself with a couple max effort movements and then long isometrics as I ski with 100 or 200 pounds on my shoulders.

But before that I barely got out of bed. Not typical for me. I’m going to skip the morning gh shot and save the money hahaha.

The reason I suspect low e2 is because I went from 210mg/ week of test with 250mcg hcg three times a week, which landed me an e2 of 70… to 135mg a week test. No hcg, and 6.25 mg aromasin EOD. That may have been too many levers to pull at once. I felt really good for about a week, then started feeling similar to the times that I ran out of hcg and was waiting for international shipping.

So I’m not exactly sure. I might just be stressed and burnt out. I’ve got a lot to be stressed about. It sucks because the last time I got bloods, it took over two weeks to get my hs e2 results. And that was my main issue. So I’m not confident about just dropping another couple hundo on bloods to dial myself in quickly.

I also have drastically reduced my kratom habit, and I definitely need to keep it level for a week or two before lowering my intake again. Or I could just stop completely and I would just feel a little crabby for three days or so, maybe. Last time I did that I was fine, but I had zero stress and was feeling really optimal.
