Hey guys I'm back ready to start a new log
Had a bit of a break from everything and some time off from gear over Christmas and have just been focusing on coaching the boys lately but thought I'd get back into things
Log sponsored by @UGL OZ @UGL OZ Support Rep like always with the generous help of @HeliosLabs sending me some of the new mito stuff to experiment with so keen to see how that goes
At the moment will just be focusing on dropping a few KGS and tightening up a little bit as honestly not sure if I'll compete again like I was planning on doing later this year
Coaching and health are my main priorities right now so will be keeping the doses low on this one
Plan is:
Gear:
250mg test e per week
HGH 3.3iu per day
Slupp 1000 MCG per day
Mots c 1mg per day
Cialis 10mg per day
Metformin 500mcg per day
Macros:
250 protein
300 carbs
80 fats
2920 cals
Training:
Chest/delts
Back/rear delts
Cardio and abs
Legs
Cardio and abs
Arms/calves
Cardio and abs
Starting weight:
97kgs

Nothing special at all as this is after a few months of very minimal training and nothing but a legit trt dose
Hopefully the physique comes back to life fairly quickly and responds well to some routine again

I think we both know how quickly you can snap things back brother haha. Keen to follow a long as always legend, show em how its done 💪🔥
Was a well needed and intentional break brother
Feeling fresh
Just currently looking small and fat 😂
But give a month or two and I'll be back to my old self

@Gains Man why do metformin when you can use reta instead? I would consider swapping that in. It's much better.

I was super excited to see this bro and a the mito part of your log adds some nice flare to it too.
You're looking big and strong bro like any coach should. Definitely following this and I agree with your Slupp dose I'm noticing effects on 2mg already and don't see why the super high doses that others are running.

I will predict you finish this log looking the best you've ever looked in your life. You are going to be an absolute monster. @Gains Man

So far very impressed with reta in particular
Holy shit I can barely even hit my protein targets at 2mg per week haha
Feeling a bit more energetic perhaps from the mots c and slu
Overall all is good weighed in at 96kg this morning so already so 1kg down so far

Retatrutide is perfect for food noise :D @Gains Man

Back today:
Pull ups x 10
Lat pulldown 93kg x 8
Seated row 79kg x 12
Face pulls 50kg x 10
Short and sweet which is what I've usually been doing now
Try to be in and out in about an hour due to being busy with work and life
Overall good session and decent pump
Weight now down to 95kg this morning
Plenty of energy likely due to the mito stack
No hunger thanks to reta from @UGL OZ

Already looking slightly less shit than when this log started and it hasn't even been 2 weeks
Abs are already starting to come back through
Chest and shoulders are fuller
This is why you should never be afraid to take some time off when you need it guys
If you're feeling burnt out and losing your love for it all just take a few months off the gear, off the gym and eat what you want (within reason) until you feel fresh and get the fire back
Yes you'll flatten out and get soft like I did and people may even talk shit but fuck them it just highlights their insecurities that they have to go full blast all the time and that only ever ends badly
If already in 2 weeks I'm seeing a pretty noticeable difference imagine what it'll be like in 2 months
Still a long way to go to get back to something I'm content with but its off to a good start

18452.webp

Less than 2 weeks between these photos
Now I do have to point out the lighting is slightly better in the second as it was taken at night so the contrast is more dramatic
But still a clear difference already even factoring that in

Some great advice brother, good reset everynow and then

Exactly bro
We take of our bodies but also need to take care of our minds sometimes as well

Got something in coming very soon @Mobster 👌
As per my reply in one thread it absolutely make sense to be healthy. That's a kinda 'd'uh' level of obvious. But that we can fix that (and or do a better job) by a specific 'mito stack' vs good sleep, better food, chilling and keeping fit... that's where I struggle.

Some call, for example, GW 'fitness or conditioning in a pill'. We KNOW that a little AAS even in untrained will add a kilo or two of muscle. But BOTH will be that much better if we do what needs to be done too. Will 'Mito stacks' be 'health in a pill'? Hmm

Sage advice brother. Too many continually push without consideration for a rest of the body and mind for a period of time.
The changes in 2 weeks are very noticeable. 🩵

I think the clear point you and I both agree on, even if it sometimes gets unintentionally lost in translation, is that anything we use from an enhancement standpoint is just that, a tool.

Tools can accelerate progress. They can amplify what is already working. But they can never replace the foundation.

The fundamentals will always be the main structure behind anything we do or try to achieve. Training intent. Nutrition precision. Recovery. Sleep. Consistency. Without those, there is nothing solid to build on.

Get the basics right and the tools become incredibly effective. They enhance momentum, performance, and adaptation.
Get the basics wrong and all they do is try to patch cracks in a weak foundation, and eventually that structure gives way.

Foundations first. Tools second. Always.

Yes! Love this and it's so true. While you're taking a month off to deload and reset your mental and physical health they're not taking care of body and mind and will pay for it later.

Haven't trained since I last posted here
Got hit with the flu really badly and only just coming good
Can't seem to catch a break this time around but starting to feel better now so I'll do my best to make up for lost ground

This is great advice. I think the rise of fitness social media has created this false narrative around training being all about the aesthetics or achieving a certain ‘look’.
The reality for most people is that they’re training to improve their health, strength, or for enjoyment. We often take being healthy and happy for granted, but life becomes a lot harder when one or both of these things is compromised.

Hope you’re feeling better after the flu, there’s a lot going around at the moment!

Currently overseas for work visiting some of my international clients and also holidaying
Few nights out and off meals as you would expect
Didn't take any of my supps or anything with me so just doing the best I can regardless
Definitely still looking better I think
At the very least haven't gotten any worse
Back home this weekend to watch a client compete and then back into things properly after that

19535.webp

This is how my client was looking 1 week out from his show
As always like all my guys he is in great condition as I take a lot of pride in this as I put so much effort into their success my own training suffers for it these days haha
But coaching is more important to me now as I've already been there and done it all myself in the past
I expect him to do quite well as its his first ever competition

19692.webp

Start of this log vs now
About 2 months in between photos
2 weeks no training due to a horrible flu and 2 weeks overseas also in that time while juggling my coaching throughout as always so has been far from ideal but still made some decent changes so far compared to how I was looking after just coming off some time off from all things bodybuilding in the first photo
Really hoping for a smooth run when I get home and back into it all as I want to drop at least another few KGS to tighten up some more and just maintain that look afterwards for the foreseeable future

Another win for Team Gainsman the other weekend for client @JMJM taking out the first timers class and placing in all his other divisions as well
He had a very challenging prep working away from home and also personal life issues but we made it to the stage regardless and was a very successful result

As far as my own training
Its going as well as it can considering how much more effort I'm putting into work
Want to get a little bit leaner still now that I'm home and settled in again
Will keep you all updated when there's enough progress worth reporting
But hoping to get under 90kgs soon and abs a little more defined
Have some mirabegron I might add in to experiment with
So far I really rate the mito stack
Heaps more energy and the reta is amazing with its appetite suppressing effects too
