This will be my first cycle, beyond TRT-level doses I've been taking the past two years. My goal is to use this as a cutting focused cycle and drop body fat while increasing lean mass.

While the pics may not be much, I've actually dropped from 260 lbs when I started TRT 2 years ago. Just over one year ago I was firing on all cylinders and steadily dropping more lbs at 195lbs. Then I suffered a set back when I had a complete tear of the left biceps tendon while sparring. After surgery and while recovering, I became quite depressed, couldn't workout much due to the recovery, diet went to shit, and started drinking a lot. I ended up putting on about 20lbs of shit weight very quickly, which I've been battling against since summer.

Diet is good right now. Stopped drinking 7 months ago. Ready to fire up a few more cylinders.

CURRENT STATS:
  • Age: 44
  • Height: 5'11"
  • Weight: 210 lbs
  • BF % : Unsure - likely around 20%. Will try to get a DEXA scan soon (although I've never believed their results to be very accurate - I believe they always read me as lower than my actual BF. But that's just my .02). If no DEXA scan, I'll post some 'before' pics and y'all can probably get a pretty accurate idea.
TRAINING HISTORY:
  • Age 20-30: Mostly boxing focused at a competitive level. Not much weight training.
  • Age 30-35: Mixed boxing/weight training.
  • Age 35-40: Limited training of anything. Some boxing.
  • Age 42-44: Focused weight training. Some boxing.
CURRENT TRAINING:
  • Upper Body x 2/week
  • Lower Body x 2/week
  • Cardio/Boxing 1-2/week
  • Total Weight Training: 4 days/week
CURRENT DIET:
  • 1900-2300 Cal Daily
  • P: 40% caloric total
  • C: 35% caloric total
  • F: 25% caloric total
  • Clean, whole food diet
  • 1-2 Protein shakes/day
SLEEP:
  • 7-8 hours per night
PED HISTORY:
  • Last two years: (roughly 4 month break around 1 year ago due to injury)
    • TRT: 200-220 mg/week - currently at 220 mg/week
    • HCG: 20-30 iU/week
    • Anastrozole: .5mg x twice/week
    • BPC 157: varied as needed and funds allowed
    • Tirzepatide: recently started - currently at 5mg/week
PROPOSED CYCLE:
  • Test Cyp: 300-400 mg/week- 2 or 3 injections/week
  • Oral Anavar: 30-50 mg/day split in 2 doses
  • Clenbuterol: 50 mg/day
  • Cialis: 5 mg/day
  • Tirzepatide: 6-8 mg/week
  • Anastrozole or Aromasin as needed - currently on 1 mg anastrozole split in two weekly doses
PROPOSED PCT:

300 test would be good. 10-12 weeks with a little anavar for last 4-6 weeks. I would hold off on clen, the tirz will be doing some solid work for you.

Hematocrit is on the high end, how hydrated were you when you got bloods and have you donated blood?
Probably not very hydrated. Water intake has admittedly been a bit low last several weeks. That did cross my mind recently to get on top of.

Im with @LevButlerov here bro. Stick with the test a tirz for now. Add in var later when lifts start to stall and save the clen for when fat loss stalls.

Dont play every card at once as you dont need to and you dont want to run out of levers to pull to keep progress moving without having to throw heaps of compounds in the mix.
 
You have already come so far, great log, will be following for sure.

Please dont take this the wrong way however, but I think, legit trt, 150-175mg a week, retatrutide, GH and get as lean as you possibly can before adding any peds.

Your calories are likely on the lower side for someone training as much as you are - you may lose weight slower, but you will lose better weight sitting a bit higher like 24-2600 (probably still light on) and it gives you somewhere to go as the weight comes down, dont fear the food , it fuels you.

Yes I do, you should just be aiming for stable test and e2 and using it to hold muscle while on a deficit.

Fully understand the mental barriers of adding food, but its very hard to gain fat eating healthfully, mindfully and with training on anabolics.

Do one thing at a time very well, which at this point in time getting lean and improving metabolic health should be the focus

I think u need a reverse diet bump up your calories with meat and veggies. I feel like the calories your at had become what your body has decided it needs to maintain in a survival mode. Slowly add the calories over weeks get up 500-600 I bet your body will maintain the weight and not gain weight. The added calories will make you feel good and you will get stronger in the gym. Then when your are feeling good you can cut back down 500 calories I bet you will lose again. Reverse diet for a bit will trick the body back to thinking its not in starving mode. Your doing great my man. Awesome job, consistence is key. It's a marathon for sure. When you start that terzepatide you will have a tough time getting the protein in. Try and get it down in whole foods and if your short towards the middle to end of the day supplement with protein shakes. Great job on stopping drinking as well. That is tough for a lot of people but find the strength to stop in the fitness world.

@geezus did you start the Tirzepatide at that dosage or did you ramp your way up? Because that is a very strong dose to start with. You'll be dealing with a lot of stomach issues the first month.
 
This will be my first cycle, beyond TRT-level doses I've been taking the past two years. My goal is to use this as a cutting focused cycle and drop body fat while increasing lean mass.

While the pics may not be much, I've actually dropped from 260 lbs when I started TRT 2 years ago. Just over one year ago I was firing on all cylinders and steadily dropping more lbs at 195lbs. Then I suffered a set back when I had a complete tear of the left biceps tendon while sparring. After surgery and while recovering, I became quite depressed, couldn't workout much due to the recovery, diet went to shit, and started drinking a lot. I ended up putting on about 20lbs of shit weight very quickly, which I've been battling against since summer.

Diet is good right now. Stopped drinking 7 months ago. Ready to fire up a few more cylinders.

CURRENT STATS:
  • Age: 44
  • Height: 5'11"
  • Weight: 210 lbs
  • BF % : Unsure - likely around 20%. Will try to get a DEXA scan soon (although I've never believed their results to be very accurate - I believe they always read me as lower than my actual BF. So you'd suggest dropping my current dosage back from 220 mg/week down to 150-175, while adding growth hormone? Ok, that's something I'll have to think about.
I was wondering the same about my total calories right now....if maybe I should bump them up a bit. Mentally I have a hard time with that when I'm actively trying to cut down bf.

@geezus Bros, I agree with that advice too. Here's the thing: Rome wasn't built overnight and later on you can always ramp up the dosages but for now focus in on dialing everything in.

What did you do prior?
Nothing really. I tried some SARMS once about 10 years ago briefly, but stopped when I started getting strange side effects that blurred my vision. Didn't like that. After that, I didn't train for a few years and fell off track.
 
I think u need a reverse diet bump up your calories with meat and veggies. I feel like the calories your at had become what your body has decided it needs to maintain in a survival mode. Slowly add the calories over weeks get up 500-600 I bet your body will maintain the weight and not gain weight. The added calories will make you feel good and you will get stronger in the gym. Then when your are feeling good you can cut back down 500 calories I bet you will lose again. Reverse diet for a bit will trick the body back to thinking its not in starving mode. Your doing great my man. Awesome job, consistence is key. It's a marathon for sure. When you start that terzepatide you will have a tough time getting the protein in. Try and get it down in whole foods and if your short towards the middle to end of the day supplement with protein shakes. Great job on stopping drinking as well. That is tough for a lot of people but find the strength to stop in the fitness world.
That makes sense. I'll start bumping calories up slowly with protein and veggie focus.

I started at 2mg for 2 weeks, then 4mg, and I'll probably bump to 5-6 in the next week. I tried Reta for about a month or so a while back, but that was wreaking havoc on my gut. Even with a low starting dosage. I ditched that and decided to give Tirz a try. Not having the stomach issues with Tirz like I did with Reta.

Yes I do, you should just be aiming for stable test and e2 and using it to hold muscle while on a deficit.

Fully understand the mental barriers of adding food, but its very hard to gain fat eating healthfully, mindfully and with training on anabolics.

Do one thing at a time very well, which at this point in time getting lean and improving metabolic health should be the focus
Ok that all makes sense. Looks like I'll be switching gears - no pun intended - and looking for some GH. I'm seeing various dosing protocols for GH....is there a starting point you would recommend for this? Is this something you would ramp up, or keep the same throughout?

This is not to discourage you at all but hopefully encourage you. I been on tirzepatide for over 2 1/2 years now. I am technically on it for diabetes which it has cured it where I stay in the high 4's A1C number. I am still working on making new habits to change my life to a healthier life. On the scale I have stayed in the 230's pretty much for the last 2 years. I am with you that I am still making improvements. But in the past 2.5 years looking back I have become a whole new person inside and out. The mental wins are just as important as the physical ones. Sometimes the mental ones come a lot faster then the physical ones. Your making a lot of mental wins changing your habits and making new ones. Keep at it we are both going to win this marathon!

I lost 80lbs as shown in my 2025 log and I see you have a solidly built base physique so I’m certain you’ll get there.

As for the GH you can start at 2iu and stay there indefinitely. We can adjust as we go but a good starting range is 2iu. I think it was great advice for you to pivot your Test dose to include GH while lowering the Test

I'm in the same state mentally with adding food. Pushing carbs high after being in a deficit so long. Its amazing how close to getting to maintenance calories can still be a challenge getting the food down. I would try what @Dreamer had mentioned

I started at 2mg for 2 weeks, then 4mg, and I'll probably bump to 5-6 in the next week. I tried Reta for about a month or so a while back, but that was wreaking havoc on my gut. Even with a low starting dosage. I ditched that and decided to give Tirz a try. Not having the stomach issues with Tirz like I did with Reta.
You'll do great man. It's a great drug.
 
I'll look into adding the aromasin. HCGenerate just showed up in the mail yesterday, so I'll introduce that as well.

So after the advice received by several people here, I'll be switching this cycle plan and going with GH until I lean out a bit more. I'll save the anavar and increased test cyp dosage for further down the road.

I feel pretty good at this level carbs right now - energy levels feel good and I feel like I've got good energy when training. The biggest difficulty for training is having the energy at 3:30-4 in the morning - which is usually 2-3 days per week.
I've kept the weekly test at 220 for the past month or two....I'm thinking of waiting to change it in either direction until I start the HGH. Not sure if that makes a difference?

I'll work on the carbs - I'm so used to trying to limit them, so this is taking me a couple days to remember to eat more carbs.

I have gotten used to doing rep ranges between 5-8 for working sets, so I'm trying to dial in what weight I should be using to get in that 1-2 RIR for 15+ reps. I'm getting closer, I'll keep making adjustments until I'm in that 15-20 range.

I do like lat-pulldowns. Right now I don't have a great lat-pulldown set up as I am limited to my garage setup. I do incorporate incline chest supported single arm cable pulldowns weekly in my upper body rotation - hoping that is a good alternative to the lat-pulldown right now?

personally speaking i like the macro split you got going, it is pretty similar to what u got going on.
 
Slight delay in getting this log updated the last few days. I went out of town to visit family, so my focus was on spending time with them. Still got some training in while out of town and away from my typical setup. Diet was decent - the macro ratios stays relatively the same - mainly it was the total calorie intake that dipped a bit. Clean foods were still prioritized - not really any cheat meals or 'dirty' foods to speak of.
It's been 6 days since I started the GH dosing. Still waiting on the cardarine to arrive in the mail. When I finish up the tirz I currently have, I'll switch over to reta - assuming it's ok to immediately switch from one to the other?

Also wondering if I need to start a new log with a title that more accurately lists my current stack of test cypionate, HGH, tirz (soon to be reta), and cardarine. Any thoughts if that's recommended - or just keep rolling with this one?

This is what I am currently on as well - I find Triz to be much better (for me at least) on appetite and food noise.

RDL's 225 for 15 reps is awesome as well. Why only three exercises on the leg day?

Thanks for the encouraging words. I just hope people aren't thinking these weights are kg - they're in lbs. 😆
Some of my workouts I have to get in before work - which means around 3:30 am. I sometimes struggle to get more exercises in on those days due to the time I've got to leave the house by. Sometimes those workouts are cut short unfortunately.
