Chest + delts (heavy set listed)

Incline machine fly x3. 85lbs

Incline press x2. 70kg

Flat press x3. 60kg

Normal fly x3. 105lbs

Side lateral x3. 60lbs


Rear delt x3. 15kg

been loving this workout and strength has been going up!! I've also been focusing more on progressing strength again as I went away from focusing a lot on that as my coach is very high volume so hitting real heavy weights for multiple was just too taxing and burnt me out, so volume has come down a bit to 2 sets for most exercises so I can really focus on getting stronger again.

I actually think it's not a bad thing going between the 2 if you respond well, doing some higher volume pump work then going back to some lower volume but heavier weights. I find I grow just as well doing both, so I like to mix it up and it keeps me interested in training as well.

I feel like I get the best of both worlds as people always debate which is better well why not just do both and either find out for yourself or do it because you enjoy it.

i find two working sets the sweet spot sometimes even one on lower food

wide grip pull ups and lat pull downs, most the other stuff is back thickness I guess I just connect well with the lats
Nice! My lats have seemed to grow recently with adding pull ups last few months . Prior I was doing lat pull downs only

he's happy with the look so just riding with what's in place until prep starts.

it will be about 16 weeks out by the time we start ramping up again so at that point I'll be interested to see how long he'll leave food high before starting to bring it down.

best I've looked at this weight ever, so it's been productive this little period of growth! be curious to see how much tissue has been added in that time as I got down to 95kg, but I don't think I'll get that low this time around hoping maybe 97 to 98 but then again fully peeled could well be close to 95 again but we'll see.

not overly concerned about weight anyways as long as I look heavier than I actually am and bring a good package I should hopefully be competitive.

now what to do on my rest day I think get a massage or go the sauna is probably the go!!

Another pretty decent week in the books! dropped a little weight sitting at 107.1kg now which I'm hoping to hold until we start ramping things back up to begin prep.

I'm interested to see how much weight sticks during the next phase as I feel in my last cut I was growing as the body fat was coming down.

I ended up around 95kg last cut and lost 15kg in much worse condition than I'm in now, so I figure I'm probably going to pull 8 to 10kg this time which would leave me just under or around the 100kg mark which has been a goal for a long time to hit that 100kg shredded, even if it doesn't happen I'm happy with my progress and how far my physique has come in under a year!

little update on peds, last 4 weeks lowered everything to give us the best possible start and make sure bloods are good just been doing 200 test and 200 mast e before we look to ramp things up again soon.

just started some bpc to also help with the little niggles and make sure that's all sorted as well before we push for the next 16 weeks.

been having kpv and downshift from driven nutrition pre bed and i feel thats also going to help keep me in a good place for when prep begins.

as the title suggests I've started training at a new facility, the special thing about it is that the members are capped at 50 so far which makes it a dream as there will be no wait times for machines and I can get stuck into it!

the gym has great equipment some pieces I haven't even used before which makes it that much more exciting.
perfect timing as well as I'm starting prep at the end of this week.

the gym has everything including a posing room which will be used countless times during prep.

check in was done today I'll post that in the next day or so but super keen to get things started and make some decent progress for the season c shows.

things will start ramping up soon and super keen to see the changes I reckon I'll probably stay around the 106 mark as gear goes back in and condition will improve, so the possibility of ending up on stage around the 100kg mark isn't out of the question but I think I'll end up just under.

140g cream of rice dry weight
100g raspberries

Train

25g carbs intra workout from cycle dextrin

Meal 2:

50g whey isolate
270g white jasmine rice cooked
30g low fat cereal e.g cocopops or frosties etc

Meal 3:

145g cooked chicken breast
180g white rice cooked
80g pineapple

Meal 4:

145g cooked steak or extra lean mince beef
210g white rice cooked
5g olive oil

Meal 5:

145g cooked chicken breast
150g white rice cooked
120g pineapple
30g almond butter

Meal 6:

180g cooked salmon fillet
100g green veg

only first week in with not much change weight actually went up 100 grams but the look has already improved so things are in a good spot, he's hoping my weight stays around the same as we get leaner but at some stage we will expect weight tom drop a touch.

all in all a good week and stuck to the plan and will continue to do so until he thinks a change is needed.

feel great nothing but positive things to say about it, more energy during the day and especially with training, helps keep me focused on tasks which otherwise might not get done.

only been a couple week of prep but things are going well body is already starting to tighten and by 10 weeks out I should be looking pretty decent which hasn't been the case in the past.

not many changes slu pp 332 has gone up to 2mg and clen has been added at 40mcg.

cable fly x3 35kg a side

incline chest press x2 85kg a side

flat chest press x2 80kg a side

pec dec x3 stack + 20kg on gym pin

side lateral x3 65kg on machine

rear delts x3 full stack

I must disclose the machines need to be loaded with a bit of weight to feel heavy so don't be impressed with the numbers lol.

Rest day

It's raining and pouring so not a bad day to stay home and chill out,
fasted cardio along with a massage is all I needed to get done today so taking the time to relax and recovery ready for a big leg sesh tomorrow.

check-ins are on Tuesday and Saturday atm just to see how the body is tracking and making sure the necessary changes are in place at the right time, things are still pretty light on dosages are still pretty low and feeling super fresh.

getting bloods done in the next day or so when I get a chance so that will also be good to see how everything is looking.

need to also get better this myself but active stretching and keeping everything loose and not bound up is so important for reducing injury in the gym so that's something else i plan on doing today rolling out and doing some static holds.
