This was today’s first session, really enjoyed the new exercises coach gave to me, changing things up and trying new things is always fun in the gym and I definitely felt more lat activation with some of these exercises. The ‘working up to max sets’ style helps me maintain perfect form throughout all sets.

Once again, loving the change in exercises, keeps things different and some of these new exercises are activating my muscles better then previously.

Skipped out on Hacksquat today, was feeling nauseous a bit after the straight legged deadlifts, probably due to going a bit ham on the hike today—and speaking of straight legged deadlifts, huge improvements need to be made in terms of form and maybe even flexibility work? Hopefully just doing the exercise consistently straightens it out. Knees were incredibly shaky during it. In general, I have a pretty decent muscle imbalance in my legs due to my left foot being partially paralysed because of ICU intubation, nothing too serious in my day to day life, but it can be a tripping hazard and requires my right leg to do more heavy lifting.

In the future, I’ll reduce the cardio when I find a suitable route, at the moment I’m currently exploring a nature reserve and trying to find the perfect 90 minute walk, until then, sometimes it’ll be a 2 hour or more walk just because I’ll get lost xD.

OP is very committed to training. Now that he has sponsorship and professional guidance from his coach @Gains Man, he will be taking it more seriously than ever. There's nothing wrong with having a playful approach in his logging style as long as he’s putting in the work. Let’s follow along and watch the results speak for themselves 💪

Found the perfect walk that balances cardio needs, sight seeing and duration. A nice 10K step walk with gentle hills and plenty of warning signs of snakes; keeps the adrenaline high which means more calories burned and time moves quicker ☺️.

First time trying out the new push day routine! Good exercise selection once again, nothing else much to note.

For the last 2 weeks I mentioned I was taking 1mg AI Mon and Thurs. In the beginning, I had noticeably less fatigue and a heightened libido, however now I’ve noticed a bit of a creaky right knee.. Tbf though, that has only been in the last 2 days and I ramped up the cardio A LOT, so I’m not gonna rush the gun on stopping the AI usage. With that being said, Ik that 2mg of AI a week is probably; most likely; 99%; 99.99% excessive on 300mg test a week. I started this ‘protocol’ under no guidance and was just experimenting to see if it would actually help with my terrible lethargy—WHICH it did. But of course, I don’t want to mess around too much with things that estrogen helps with, especially things in regards to muscle or leanness. *The main reason I take a lot is because it’s in capsule form and it’s hard to pill cut it ;)*. Hopefully that racehorse drug kicks in and I won’t need an AI. Anyways, I’ve let coach know about it since I forgot about it til this morning.

I also would like him on more but we had a very strict calorie limit to work with as he was dieting already when I took him on
So in order to balance out his macros to keep in adequate carbs and fats I could only get the protein in at 2 grams per kg of bodyweight rather than 3 which is where I usually like it
After this cut is finished I would like to reverse diet him and build up his metabolism so we can have a higher protein and carb intake as a baseline moving forward

Yesterday’s log

Getting stronger tbh. I love the “working up” approach; also helps with my form.

No hike today :(. I had mentioned my right knee is a bit overstrained from the added volume, to try and make up for it, I did some elliptical to get atleast some cardio in and I ate a tiny bit leas today. I don’t want my right knee to do too much work and I really need my left leg to catch up if I want to continue aggressive cardio, I’m sure after a week or two, we’ll be able to be very consistent with the cardio without too much breaks.

As much as I love the amount of calories I burn on the elliptical compared to bike, its a fucking pain to write a log at the same time lol.

@playfields i'm going to assume the numbness in your legs could be nerve issues. putting a lot of pressure on your back riding a bike. i would be hitting some yoga classes asap to stretch that out

I! HAVE! NOT! EATEN! IT! IS! 6PM!
Haven’t really had time to fit in anything other then zero energy drink and a coffee.

Feel like shit as well, I keep catching the flu every month so I should probably start taking health supps, multi vitamin, etc.. always throws my diet and training off, but im just gonna work through it this time around, really pisses me off that I keep having to deal with this, I don’t really want to delay my schedule by 2 weeks just because of a runny nose.Not only this, but I saw the gp today about a bit of pressure I feel in thr back of my skull and the fact my vision is noticeably blurry at distances, especially at night time. This started around the time I started cutting calories aggressively while using dnp and tren. Maybe it is catching up. The doctor suggested an eye test.

Other then that nonsense, I am still perfectly capable of carrying out my day to day tasks and regimen, and although I have basically accidentally fasted for nearly 24hrs, energy was good at gym and during my hike.

I also end up a couple hundred calories short as a result of how full I’ll get (thanks retatutride). Here was my very late night meals to get enough protein/calories in v

Eased up a bit on the cardio, trying to find a balanced step count and trying to lower my intensity on cardio machines, intentionally or unintentionally, i’d be doing 150bpm cardio when I really don’t need to exhaust myself like that. It’s mostly the clen driving me to push more than i’d like, so im sticking to 140bpm just to put less strain on my legs. I’ve been swapping between a lot of different cardio machines because something isn’t working right with my right knee, and ive figured out it’s the bike machine where you lay back on. Normal stationary bike is much better and easier to type on than the elliptical and other bike machine.

Was able to fit in a decent amount of calories and protein/carbs by sucking it up and eating breakfast lol. A few convenient protein drinks/bars on the menu as well, new protein bar just dropped with good macros so I had to try—is this such a ludicrous crime? I’ll also add in some greek yoghurt to get some extra low cal/high protein in as well to lock in the day.

@playfields your protein and carbs are low, if you plan to cut you need higher protein and more fats, or you need to moderate the carbs. You're in the middle there with the macros and need to adjust.

Eased up a bit on the cardio, trying to find a balanced step count and trying to lower my intensity on cardio machines, intentionally or unintentionally, i’d be doing 150bpm cardio when I really don’t need to exhaust myself like that. It’s mostly the clen driving me to push more than i’d like, so im sticking to 140bpm just to put less strain on my legs. I’ve been swapping between a lot of different cardio machines because something isn’t working right with my right knee, and ive figured out it’s the bike machine where you lay back on. Normal stationary bike is much better and easier to type on than the elliptical and other bike machine.

Was able to fit in a decent amount of calories and protein/carbs by sucking it up and eating breakfast lol. the clen will speed up your heart rate and actually damage your cardio output. it also will require more fluids. so make sure you are hydrating and make sure you get in your electrolytes

Yesterday’s log

Getting stronger tbh. I love the “working up” approach; also helps with my form.

No hike today :(. I had mentioned my right knee is a bit overstrained from the added volume, to try and make up for it, I did some elliptical to get atleast some cardio in and I ate a tiny bit leas today. I don’t want my right knee to do too much work and I really need my left leg to catch up if I want to continue aggressive cardio, I’m sure after a week or two, we’ll be able to be very consistent with the cardio without too much breaks.

As much as I love the amount of calories I burn on the elliptical compared to bike, its a fucking pain to write a log at the same time lol.
I miss the OG version of the Portuguese chicken, the current one is slop in comparison!

Great energy levels today, not sure if it’s because I got everything done early or if it’s because of @Driven-Nutrition ’s Kaizen blend. Was shopping for L carnitine and I came across his page and the Kaizen blend had a good amount of L carnitine with other stuff that piqued my interest, so I gave it a shot and I must say, it is a bitch to pin—but so be it. I didn’t use it optimally by using it with fasted cardio, but I’m always down to inject random stuff and I’ve heard good things about L carnitine.

Felt a bit stronger in my triceps which is always nice; shoulders were feeling weak—probably because I pinned my left shoulder full of carnitine. Other than that, I feel like I’m strength training a lot less, but still maintaining and even sometimes progressing in terms of strength. I’ve also been noticing my chest gets activated a lot more even though volume across the board is decreased.

Taking it day by day. Energy still fine, 1mg AI every Monday and Thursday seems to have really kept me stable, im actually surprised that I don’t feel like shit even though youd think id be crashing my estrogen? Keen to get bloodwork as im super curious to see how I actually aromatise and not playing guessing games with tren in the mix, i’ll get all that bloodwork done once the eq has kicked in so it’ll be a bit.

Pinned L carnitine in the right shoulder today. I have no idea how people take this stuff daily for a long period of time as it absolutely sucks to pin this stuff, however, I did indeed utilize it pre fasted cardio; not expecting magic but I did continue to have good energy today so I’ll happily continue whether fasted or not.

Ate a bitttt more than usual due to a bbq, definitely not over my deficit though.

Leg day is no longer a favourite after starting cardio 😅. Hopefully I get that energy back during the bulk, but until then, we will relentlessly struggle through it.

Really happy with the results of the dieting so far; as I continue to get leaner and leaner the changes are more visually rapid and as a result, my motivation holds strong. It’s not the deficit that gets to me but rather the excitement I have as a beginner in my journey to see what a strict lean bulk with proper protocols in place to get the best possible results achievable with my genetics… no more, no less than my god-given-birthright physique in this 21st century :).

Keen to see what result I’ll have in terms of bf% somewhere in August. I’ve been on—what I think—has been a very aggressive diet for nearly 3 months now and I have 2 more to go. My hope is that at this pace I will reach a desired 5% bf, but I know that is very ambitious, especially for a first time, sooo, any single digit achieved will leave me very satisfied. Whatever bf% reached in mid-end August will be the end of the cut; regardless of goals.
