Beginner cycle questions

Hey everyone ! New to the forum, long time follower.
I’ve finally decided to pull the trigger and optimize myself, never done anabolics but not a stranger to injections (insulin), been lifting for 6 years, I just had a question.. I’m about to hop in a test only cycle just to see how my body reacts, thinking probably 200mg/week test C (M,W,F) do you think I should be taking an AI with this dose? I will have some on hand incase regardless, some people saying not to run at all, some say half a pill on injection day, some say only when puffy nips happen/if they happen. Thanks everyone!

1. My goals are to get genuinely stronger and feel better mentally and physically, I’ve suffered from low T for a few years. I’m not obese but definitely more fat than I would like. 6’0 200lb
2. Bloodwork is good I just recently got done a week ago, low T as I mentioned above total 330ng/dl. Free 229 pmol/l. E2 65pmol/L
3. I just turned 30 this year

Without that information its going to be near impossible for anyone to give you proper information or advice.
Doc was worried about my test and didn’t want to put me on Trt as he says I’m young but I am done having kids, he suggested and prescribed hcg and clomid, but I do not want to go that route and I told him that, basically said he can’t help me and said to try other Trt clinics.

Your natural levels are low enough that it would probably be a good idea to start trt at least (if you are genuinely done having kids)

No matter if you trt, or blast and cruise, you need to find out what your baseline trt would be. For example 100mgs a week test cyp might put you at the upper "range". This you need to know so that you have a baseline that you can return to for health reasons.

Then once that is established, you might want to start experimenting with higher amounts of testosterone, or other stuff.

All of this is determined by bloodwork. Let your bloodwork guide your decisions and you will have a much easier time.

I appreciate the feedback! As for your advice do people still usually run an Ai on low dose test ? Or is that more so for higher doses?

Thats another thing that you will use bloodwork to guide. You may have symptoms of estrogen being out of whack, but only bloodwork can tell you if it is...and if an ai is necessary .

Best
not to use ai's unless you have to (imo)

At 100mg test per week you should be fine, but everyone's different, without bloodwork its just guesswork

hard to say without a log but you can start 200mgs TRT thats about it with ai

Before you touch an AI, you need to start a log right now because otherwise you will be guessing and you will either crash e2 or let it run high and blame the dose. Post your log today with ed bodyweight, cals and macros, pin days and exact mg, BP, sleep, training numbers, and your full bloods with ranges, because the EVO family can’t coach you from one paragraph and you’re about to start your first cycle. 15 min of your time to start. :D

HOW-TO LOG?

Why is a Log Journal important?

  • Doing a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
  • Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
  • The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
  • Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you:
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight,height,age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
  • Please post a Log Journal asap for us

If you're going to run a cycle, you might as well run at least 300 mg, in my opinion. You're going to get shut down regardless. Always keep an AI on hand. If you're prone to estrogen, you will need it.

Bros, if you are worried about side effects and recovery then keep the cycle shorter. That's going to be the best bet here.

Do us all a favor and post up a log with your full information. It's very important to know exactly everything about you to give you the best advice.

Take my perspective with a grain of salt if you want, but there's no reason to hop on a cycle just to see how your body reacts. Those of us on here have been using steroids for years so we know how steroids work and what they do. You can just read through the logs and see. You don't have to experiment on yourself with something like this.

Some people are more estrogen prone. It's a good idea if you're new to this to get blood work during your cycle to see.
 
It was posted above. 30 years old. I’m also from Canada so doctors here are kind of alienated is that field compared to the states from what I have read
