A brief background-
I competed in ifbb MP when I was in my early/mid 20's
After that life slipped me away from training, Now 30YO married w 1 toddler and an in the perfect place to get things going again. I've started peds again after roughly 7 years on march 11 now completing a successful mini cut I have taken on @Gains Man as a coach and plan to have a pretty solid few growth phased to hopefully get back on stage in 26/27!

I'll keep check ins as regularly as possible, including
- training
- diet changes and macros
- Ped Cycle and changes
- progression updates
- feedback good or bad from the boss! (Not my wife, I mean Gainsman)

@R M 30 years old and a toddler is a very busy life. You got to give attention to your kid but also your wife. So this is an awesome log, that's real life stuff.

Thanks alot man, hope you enjoy the journey! Finding a balance is the tricky bit especially with my work schedule, often I'm training at 4/4:30 am so I don't lose the valuable family time in the afternoons, which as result affects energy levels when training but this following week I'm working away so I'll be back to after work sessions!

Feeling good and really enjoying the extra calories—waking up feeling fuller.

Training Update
Traveled to accommodation for the night but managed to get in a good morning chest session before that.

Chest Day Workout:

Push-Ups – 3 sets to failure

Incline Dumbbell Press – 3 sets

Incline Chest Press (Machine or Barbell) – 3 sets

Cable Crossovers – 3 sets

Substituted Dips with:

Pec Deck Machine – 3 sets



Rep Range: 8–12 reps per set

- Today is Quad focused legs, I'll need to substitute exercises depending on what's available at the gym here!

Only just came to the realisation I had never in my history with training have I done a real building season so this is the first!

After two long days of driving, I’ve finally settled into accommodation for the next week.





Yesterday's Training – Quad-Focused Leg Day



Limited equipment, but made it work:

Note, I can't do squats due to weight on collarbone.



Walking Lunges – 3 sets to failure

(Started around 90 reps, dropped across sets)



Leg Extensions – 4 sets (8–12 reps)



DB Bulgarian Split Squats – 2 sets (50kg)

Balance still needs alot of work.



Leg Press (Low Foot Placement) – 5 sets to failure



Set 1: 16 reps



Set 5: 6 reps





Calf Press on Leg Press – 3 sets



Seated Calf Raises – 4 sets







Today's Training – Shoulders & Arms



Push-Ups – 3 sets to failure



Shoulder Press – 3 sets



Front Raises – 3 sets



Lateral Raises – 3 sets



Rear Delts (Pec Deck) – 3 sets



Rope Pushdowns – 4 sets



Dumbbell Curls – 4 sets



Preacher Curls – 3 sets





Targeting 8–12 reps per set, though rep ranges vary due to equipment

Initial spike from the calorie bump, followed by a steady taper—curious to see where I land for Sunday check-ins. Digestion feels solid, so fingers crossed for another carb bump soon!

in my mind I'm basically planning for atleast 3 growing stages before I go on a prep again,
I'd really love to be a serious competitor and weight wise I have atleast 7/13 kg (lean)
Depending on if I go for MP at my height or try my hand in classic
I hope with alot of grinding I can reach those goals the right way by next year! If not just keep working until I do.

I also need to address the nips prior to competing again, none of it is recent I did have it dusont puberty, and in my early 20s had made it worse with poor use of peds

With your dry level, you're super dry, you can easily step on stage soon. :D
