Usually, when the rehab is done well, it will be stronger than before. After all, the tendon is screwed to the bone nowI was asked by the surgeon who did my bicep tendon operation. To do a study on the long term repair. So they'll do xrays and other scans on the repair. And also how much movement i have.

Training is back and this is strong rehab you doing more than most guys on training daysSo training recommenced this week. Mostly lower body, but some right-side upper body to keep it stimulated. It will be another four weeks before I can begin resistance/loading of the tendon, so for the moment it’s just about keeping the movement patterns stimulated.

Just following surgeon’s directive - cannot start actual loading phase of rehab until 6 weeks post op. The tendon is stitched to a toggle-loc button screwed into the bone and the risk of popping it off the stitches is very high in the first six weeks.This does make sense and combined with actual rehab moves
