I actual have metformin at home just decided against utilizing it because of the effects I heard about stunting muscle growth, study could be wrong but I didn't want to risk it.
The argument is that it activates ampk, which is true, but it activates different subunits than the ones that antagonize mtor. There is probably some decrease in hypertrophy because it is a strong antioxidant, but if you are taking aas that isn’t a negative. It is less anti hypertrophic than berberine which activates ampk to a greater degree.

Bottom line is that anything we do to counter aas stress is going to be bad for hypertrophy. Tudca, nac, whatever. They also have benefits and metformin more than most because it is a strong antioxidant plus increases insulin sensitivity and improves lipid balance.

On oatmeal: Among the various cereals I have are two high protein granola type products yet oatmeal, with nothing added, is as good or better

To be honest I have no idea. LOL. I always get up and pee and take my weight first thing in the morning. I dont lift until about 5 hours later. I guess I can just go with the first thing in the morning from now on.

Just salmon. It was given to me by my brother who catches it in Alaska. I grew up in a fishing family. That’s what I did for 35 years. The most physically demanding job you can do.

I used to take 20mg eod but changed it to 10mg Ed. I felt that it would be better to have constant levels since it supposedly lasts 36 hours.

@~Vision~ and @RoidRage69 I've tested ED and EOD, while ED seems to work well, it does cause nitric oxide NO to deplete, so long term EOD is better, so your body has time to restore NO and half life out the old tadalafil.

I bet there is literally zero difference in NO levels with either EOD or ED use. Diet and Age is going to be a bigger difference in NO levels. I eat raw veggies and very little SAT fat so that is only going to help NO levels. I am also not feeling tired which would be a major symptom of lower NO levels.
